FLAME THE HEDGEHOG SUPER VOLUME 8

Flame and Crash are ready to fight for Atlas.

Crash, Dark, and Tiger went their way to the restaurant where they will meet Seijirou Kikuoka. It took them minutes to arrive as they head inside, Tiger can smell the great food.

Tiger: I can smell great and good, food!

Waiter(Me): Welcome.

Crash: *to Dark* There not aware that I am a talking hedgeh-

Kikuoka: Hey, Kirito. Over here!

Crash: GOD DAMNIT!

Professor Dark chuckle, just as they walk over to the table. Crash crossed his arm as he was a little piss that humans can't knowledge the fact that he is a talking hedgehog.

Tiger: Mr Ketc- I mean, Kikuoka! Sorry, heheh.

Kikuoka: Oh it's alright. *looked at Crash* Hey Crash, how it's going so far with Flame?

Crash: Pretty good, still a little pissed that none of the human race can't knowledge the fact that I am a hedgehog, who can talk.

P.Dark: Never seen you get this angry over that...

Crash: Hmph...

Kikuoka: Have a seat guys, I'll treat you something.

Kazuto: I guess I'll take you up on that offer then.

Crash: I don't feel like eating now, so I pass. And by the way, you sound different, something's not right..

Kikuoka: Yeah, just talk like we do in ALO.

Kazuto: Alright then.

Kazuto tries to order something, with Crash not ordering anything at all, Dark and Tiger found some good stuff they would like to have.

Kazuto: Umm, I'll take a parfait au chocolat, a mille feuille aux framboises, and a hazelnut latte.

P.Dark: I'll take a regular coffee.

Tiger: A smooth and a great sandwich.

So they order their food and drinks, well except for Crash. He was closing his eyes, listening to what's happening now.

Tiger: Can't wait to eat the goodies!!

Kikuoka: I'm sorry for asking you to come here, Kirito. I didn't expect you to bring friends either.

P.Dark: Well it's a long story, we're not from around here.

Kikuoka: Ah, okay then.

Kazuto: If you really mean that, then don't drag me out in a place like Ginza. Also, don't call me by that name in public.

Kikuoka: Now that's just cold. And wasn't I the first get by your side when you woke up in the hospital about a year ago?

Crash sigh, Tiger was waiting a damn long time, Professor Dark was interested in hearing this.

Kazuto: So, what's going on? We told you everything about SAO, right?

Kikuoka: Actually, no. There are a few things you guys need to see. Here look at this.

He hands them a tablet, first showing a news article about a man who died while playing a VR game, Crash open his eyes, noticing it. It then swipes to a short video clip that two people were being attacked by a large unknown creature in a VR game, while the mouth and the arms look familiar to Crash and Dark, Crash was surprised by what he's seeing.

Crash: What th.. what is that thing..?

Tiger: That creature looks terrific.

Crash: No shit Sherlock.

Kikuoka: Last month ago, I believe on November 14th. A landlady of a certain apartment in Nakano City has noticed a foul stench while cleaning. She release the electronic lock and looked inside to investigate. When she looked, she saw that 26 year old, Tamotsu Shigemura, died. He was dead for five and a half days. The room was a mess but it seems like it wasn't broken into, and the corpse was lying sideways onto the bed, and on its head.

Tiger: That's awful. And way confusing.

P.Dark: So he died using.. A AmuSphere?

Crash: What the living hell is a AmuSphere?

P.Dark whisper to Crash about what a AmuSphere is for a moment, Crash now understand it so he nodded back.

Kikuoka: Yes. It was considered a freak accident and an autopsy was performed. The cause of the death seemed to have been heart failure.

Kazuto: So his heart just stopped? How'd that happen?

Kikuoka: That's what we're trying to find out.

Waiter(Me): H-Hey guys, sorry for the wait. Here's the food you want.

I give them their food and drinks they ordered. Minutes and minutes later after Kikuoka told them about a guy name Death Gun, Crash gets a little annoyed.

Crash: Ok, since you talk about GGO and Death Gun. Tell us about the video clip..

Kikuoka: Oh yeah, about two days ago. A video went viral after showing two men being attacked by a large creature during in GGO.

P.Dark: Was it realistic?

Kikuoka: Yes. The two men, somehow, died from the real world after being eaten in the game.

Tiger: I find that BS.

Crash: I think it's possible that...

They looked at Crash for an answer to what the creature could be, Dark is figuring out as well.

Crash: That creature resemble much like of an Indominus Rex, the mouth looked... the same, the teeth. The arms, the claws, it looked exactly like it. But what it makes a difference is that there are large spikes on its neck and the back, maybe.. Just maybe. That creature is a super hybrid.

Tiger: What is an Indominus Rex?

P.Dark: It is a hybrid of the T-rex, a raptor, and many creature/dinosaur DNA for its appearance and abilities.

Crash: Correct, it's possible that someone, genius enough, to build a super hybrid.

Kazuto: But why would the creature be in the virtual reality game

Crash: That is an interesting question.. I-

P.Dark: It's not possible that the creature is in a virtual reality game. Unless.. Someone with a IQ of 300 is able to pull that off, yeah.. It's definitely might be possible.

Kikuoka: You might be on a right track. It's rumor that the creature could be made-up by a mad scientist, by a user from an internet.

Crash: But there's something I don't get... which bothers me.

Tiger: What seems the problem?

Crash: What type of mad scientist would make that type of creature, only to be in a game?! Like... it doesn't make sense! None of it make sense!

P.Dark: Crash. Take it easy, take it... easy.

Crash took a deep breath, he doesn't want to get into his mad spot, Kirito never saw Crash this angry before. Tiger had something in mind, he sigh.

Tiger: Well... we should be going for me to get prepare for me to get in GGO. Oh boi, I miss playing that game.

Kazuto: You're good at it?

Tiger: Yep. Like 6 months, I got lots of yen, win a few matches, ah, good old times.

Crash: Well that settles it, he'll replace me in GGO, phew. Thank.. God.

P.Dark: That is good for our advantage. (It's possible that the time stone might be in GGO, I have a strange feeling that the creature could possibly be in the game to get the time stone..)

Crash: We should be going now. Tiger will meet you in GGO, alright?

Kazuto: Alright. I have somewhere to be right now, so I have to leave.

So Crash, Professor Dark and Tiger went off, and this is where the Waiter, aka, me, see Crash, waving his hand to him to get to his attention.

Waiter(Me): Good luck!

Crash rolled his eyes, he made a smirk face at me and then left. Meanwhile, Crash, Dark, and Tiger were in a basement with technology, they were in Dark room that allows him to hack any system.

P.Dark: Alright, before we start, Crash, you start a test on one of the GGO server.

Crash: Me?

Crash let out a laugh after hearing that, Tiger giggled as well, the Professor was unimpressed seeing Crash laughing hard.

P.Dark: That's a fake laugh.

Crash: It's real!

P.Dark: *sigh* Crash... it's best to see if you saw the creature or see anything suspicious. It's best for our advantage to get the time stone.

Crash: So you're saying that the time stone could be any GGO server?

P.Dark: Correct.

Crash: You know what... fine! I'll do it. But you owe me, Dark, got it?

P.Dark: Right.

It's been minutes, Crash was in one of the GGO servers with a party of players. He was not used to new people, but he'll get used to it. Dark is able to hack the system to get access to Crash's profile so he can have a HK 416 Assault Rifle, he was relieved that he can have a weapon. He was standing, looking at the field.

Crash: No wonder what makes GGO a hardcore game, bunch with pro players..

Sinon: Your right about that. So.. your not from around here right?

Crash: That's right. Different from your very own existence, well... sort of.

Sinon: Okay, whatever that means.

Arashi: Here they come.

Dyne: It's about time.

Dyne looks through his binoculars and see's the party, along with a red robot with them. That's no other than Metal Flame.

Dyne: That's them alright. There's 7 of them, plus it looks like they got a robot with them.

Crash: A robot? Is it red?

Dyne: Yep.

Crash: Crap. That's Metal Flame.

Dyne: Metal Flame?

Crash: He was designed to match Flame's abilities and was the first robot to have a personality.

Sinon opens her sniper scope.

Sinon: The four in the front have laser guns, another has a large-caliber laser rifle, and one with a minimi. He'll be the one to go down first, Metal Flame doesn't have anything.

Crash: Don't think that Metal Flame will be an easy target, it'll take more than a gut to knock him out. Even I struggle with him, now that I say that.. He's probably gotten stronger after I defeated him.

Crash has a second thought of why Metal Flame was there.

Crash: (It's been days since I last fought him and beat his ass. Well, robots don't have ass so I can't argue with that. Metal Flame being here is something suspicious, maybe... just maybe. He's here to get the Time Stone, right.. Which could mean that one of Infinity's goons might have to redesign him to get in better shape, I bet it's Mr Roboman is responsible for that. *sigh* Who knows, maybe I could be wrong, but beside the point.. I must focus!)

Sinon: Crash!

Crash snap out of it, he looks around, seeing nobody there expect for Sinon.

Crash: Uh, was I thinking too long?

Sinon: Pretty much I guess, something that's bothering you?

Crash: No, it's-it's nothing. It's something you won't understand.

Sinon: Alright, if it's something really important that you gotta keep it, I understand.

Crash: Okay, thanks for understanding.

Dyne: Ok. We're in position.

Sinon: Copy that.

Dyne: The enemy's made no change in course or speed.

Sinon: The distance from you guys is 400 meters. From here, it's 1,500.

Dyne: That's pretty long. You sure you can do it?

Sinon: It's no problem for me.

Dyne: Alright, start sniping. It's all up to you Sinon.

Sinon: Roger.

She gets ready to shoot the player with the Minimi.

Meanwhile with Tiger and Dark, Dark was starting to get access to Tiger's GGO profile to get him good stuff. Tiger was practicing by using an AK-47, he's trying to hit the target perfectly, recently, he's getting good targets only a few times, he was getting a little mad after trying and trying to get a good hit. But the problem is that he never focus through his mind while aiming.

P.Dark: Try focusing in your mind while aiming.

Tiger: I know. That's what I am trying to do but whenever I do it, it keeps failing and failing!

The professor rolled his eyes. Tiger groan a bit, he then continues back shooting the target, after many tries within a minute, he finally succeeded at it with only 10 shots. Tiger tries again with another 10 shot and it still able to hit the target.

P.Dark: Congrats Tiger, you finally succeeded.

Tiger: I know right?! Yes, after stress over my mind, I have overcome it!

Dark couldn't help but chuckle.

P.Dark: You just love to keep talking crazy right?

Tiger: Eh.. kinda like that.

Tiger put down his two AK-47 just to take a drink of water, Professor Dark have questions for him when he now able to get access in Tiger's GGO profile.

P.Dark: How do you discover the game anyways?

Tiger: Now that.. It's a story of a lifetime when me and my sister were at the great mysterious gift shop. Filled with many things that are from modern days, we seen them before. The old guy introduced us something amazing, so amazing, it let me experience of guns instead of swords and shields. The Virtual Reality Headset! It was... amazing, and so yeah, that's how I discover it.

P.Dark: Hmm.. interesting.

Tiger: How's Crash doing?

P.Dark: I am pretty sure he's doing alright.

Meanwhile, Metal Flame throw Crash to a building, he shot a laser beam from his chest at Crash. Crash deflects the beam away, Metal Flame flew towards Crash, he uses chaos control to teleport away and then slam Metal Flame to the ground hard.

Crash: Chaos... SPEAR!!

Multiple energy spear hits Metal Flame, he notices a bunch of smoke that is blocking his view to see if Metal Flame is down or not. Without focus, he got knocked down by Metal Flame, Crash fights back against the robot hedgehog while the others do their job.

Metal Flame powers up that are electric around his body, being able to adapt into Crash's abilities, Crash now's going serious to the robot hedgehog, they both go in insane speed that both rivals Flame's speed.

Jin, Arashi, and Miso shoot at the blaster users, while Sinon and Dyne go after Behemoth. Sinon shoots her automatic handgun at the laser guns, but they go back in cover, they then shoot at Sinon.

Sinon: Dyne! Cover me!

Dyne: Got it!

Sinon goes for cover and aims her sniper rifle at Behemoth. When she shoots, the bullet hits his glasses as he dodges. He smirks at Sinon and shoots at her but she dodges. Dyne shoots at Behemoth leaving two marks on his left shoulder. The laser shots break through his protective field and his HP hits yellow. Then he looks to Sinon for a brief moment and runs ahead to the laser gunners as they shoot him. As soon as they shoot him dead, a grenade gets thrown from Dyne, and it explodes, killing the two gunners. Behemoth is all that's left now.

Sinon: Not bad Dyne. If I can just get into his blind spot somehow...

She looks up to the tower.

Sinon: At that moment, he shouldn't be able to notice where I am.

Sinon runs to the tower and heads up the stairs. Meanwhile, while Crash was fighting against the red robotic hedgehog, Metal Flame throws multiple chaos spears at the Ultimate Lifeform, which he dodges it. Crash then perform the spin dash to hit him but, he activates the black shield to knock away Crash to the ground. The red robotic hedgehog then activates the V. Maximum Overdrive and dashes towards Crash and rams him on the floor numerous times, Metal Flame then starts to simultaneously hit Crash with his attack multiple, and multiple times.

Crash grow tired from this and instantly powers up to his Super form, knocking away Metal Flame very hard. Metal Flame gets right back up and continued to attack him, but, with the flick of his finger, Metal Flame head was knockout, destroying it as his HP went to zero and disappear. Crash was pleas to what's been happening with him, he made a smirking face.

Crash: This just became my lucky day today.

The Ultimate Lifeform looked at the Behemoth, soon, he has an idea.

Crash: Hey jackass, right over there!

Behemoth: Hmm?

Crash crossed his arm, the Behemoth fires with his minigun against the black hedgehog, he stands there as he dodges every bullet that tries to hit him. Sinon continues to climb up the tower.

Sinon: He's strong enough to laugh on the battlefield. Once I kill him, I'll become...

She heads all the way to the top of the tower. She sees Crash distracting Behemoth, giving her a chance to land a headshot at him. Suddenly, Behemoth aims his minigun at Sinon, but then she jumps.

Crash: Oh crud..

Behemoth shoots her left leg and it comes apart.

Behemoth: Huh?

She continues to fall from the tower. Behemoth continues to shoot with his minigun and Sinon dodges it.

Behemoth: Come on!

Crash use chaos control to kick Behemoth, making him stop shooting.

Crash: Do it now!

Sinon aims her sniper rifle at Behemoth, and shoots him in the head, killing him.

Crash: He got headshot.

Sinon: Yeah, you were great back there as well. Did you manage to take down Metal Flame?

Crash nodded while crossing his arm.

Sinon: Well done. Thanks for distracting Behemoth for me.

Crash: No prob. By the way, your leg is going to generate back right?

Sinon: Mhm.

Meanwhile, Crash logs out and puts his AmuSphere away. He looks at the two, seeing Dark and Tiger arm wrestling. The two stopped and see Crash returned from the game.

P.Dark: So how did it go?

Crash: Pretty well, well...

Tiger: Well what?

Crash sighed as he is about to tell them that Metal Flame was there as well.
