Pearl and Platinum made Sinnoh's weather look like a heatwave.

Literally.

While Pearl looked decent for fall weather, Platinum looked like she was ready for spring. And with the fact that it was in the negatives? White was the one curled up to Pink.

"It's not fair!" They giggled before Pink paused.

"Where's Diamond?" Pearl frowned.

"Taen had struck another area of Sinnoh. He went after it. I hope he's ok..." Pink glanced at White.

"You get these guys while I go after him."

Pink was glad she went.

Diamond was curled up in a ball in another form while frost and snow covered him. She almost missed him if Mew did have doubts. She approached the small puppy-like creature and paused.

"Diamond?" It picked its head up and purred before gently trodding over. He sniffed her hand before rubbing against it. "Oh you poor thing..." She picked him up and let him nuzzle against her hug. "Let's go..."

"Not so fast." She glared up at Taen as he floated down.

"Whatever you pull, no." He chuckled.

"Aw... you don't want to know what I did?" She growled before casting.

"SERPENT SHEPHERD!"

Upon the attack, he gave the face she only remembered from the Alpha Temple. The look of 'I'm a step ahead of you'. What did that mean? She took off instantly to go find out.

It was heartbreaking to hear what Taen had pulled. He had grabbed the resting group and vanished. Pink was curled up with Diamond, not only keeping him warm, but he wouldn't let go until she calmed down. Tears stained her face as she thought about the group. Green, Ruby, Sun, Black... and Purple. The others weren't the problem. But her twin? End of the line, Escapers.
