Chapter 8: where's Nykera?

Roger's pov:

I was worried about Nykera, I hope she's ok. I heard her crying for the past three days and she really didn't say anything when I gave her the food. But before I left for the day she asked me to sneak her some matches. I didn't understand but I trusted her so I gave them to her.

I had this dream last night of the biters getting her while she slept, i woke up in a cold sweat. That's when the door flew open and master was standing there.

"get up and make breakfast, im hungry and you need to feed pet as well", he ordered me with a sneer.

So he wasn't in a good mode, surprise, surprise. I quickly got out of bed, took a shower, brushed my teeth. I throw on my apron, as I started to get the things I needed for breakfast. After I finished making the food I made a plate for, master, Nykera, and myself.

I watched as master took Nykera's plate upstairs once he was done with his plate. After I was done I went upstaires to start cleaning. Before i was done my first room i heard master yell out, "fine, be a stubbern bitch starve!".

As master pass the room i was in he said, " don't feed her anything, understand?"

I quickly nodded my head, wondering why she didn't answer the door. Maybe she'd still pissed at master. I shurgged my shoulders as i went back to cleaning. I was working on one of the last rooms I had to clean when I heard something.

"pet! Pet get your ass out here, now", it was master yelling again.

I shook my head, 'I swear him and his mood swings'. I bent down and grabbed the dust pan emptying it in the trash ben.

"fuck, snow puppy get in here!", I heard him call out angerly.

I dropped the dustpan, quickly making my way to the direction of his voice. I found him in Nykera's room, yet there was no Nykera to be found. I guess the plan has begun.

"do you know anything of this?", master growls as he grabs my shirt.

I shook my head fearsomely, "no master, I don't".

Master let me go, as he stormed out of the house, calling out for pet. I chased after master, hoping that Nykera got far, far away from here,and That she was safe.

Mike's pov:

I hate the waiting, it been like three days since i seen Nykera. The trackers been out there looking for her but nothing has come up. My parents had to like force me to go to school, which is where I am now.

Sitting in the back of the class, shaking my leg, not really listening to what the teacher had to say. I had my mini laptop open and was recording what he said, so my parents won't kill me for my grade dropping. Some of the other students were grumbling about me having my laptop out.

I cut off all that with a evil glare, they all seemed shock at receiving it because usually I'm the kind of kid that only talks to my friends and just ignore everyone else. That has changed with my best friend being missing and all.

I felt James glance at he like 'dude, your freaking them out', I just shrugged my shoulders not caring one bit about those stupid humans. The rest of the day I acted like this, yet only at lunch, while looking at my friends did I relise that everyone of my friends were acting differently.

James someone that never got into any kind of fight was ready to throw down on this guy that bumped into him. Luckily ivy stopped them, roughly pulling James in his usual seat and telling him off. Which is something ivy never does. We were acting this way cause we had no future alpha, and we had no Nykera.

I paced back and forth from one end of my room to the other. I checked in on the trackers every five minutes. Where could she be?

"beta", I heard in my ear piece, it was Finn.

"yeah, you find her?", I asked quickly.

"no, but I think I got her scent. She smells like lavender right?", he asked to be sure.

"yeah, where is your location?", I asked him as I quickly made my way downstairs.

"I'm in the Thomas woods, a few miles from the Thomas mansion", he informed me.

"stay where you are, until I get there", I ordered him.

"roger that",he said before he ended the convention.

I grabbed my bag of extra clothes then shifted into my brown wolf. I picked up my bag with my mouth and started running as fast as my legs could carry me to the Thomas woods. 'don't worry Nykera, I'm on my way'

Unknown pov:

I was running trying to find something to eat. I caught a scent of lavender, and ran fast. I hope whoever it is tastes as good as it smells. I cocked my head back alerting the others I was hunting with of food.
