third year,
most vivid dream

The return to Hogwarts. Aimee was more than ready, counting down the last few days of the holidays, however, she was worried that Evan was keeping something from her. He hadn't replied to any of her letters, she questioned if his parents might have told him not to. 'But why would they? They were very kind to her,'

She arrived at King's Cross station by herself, her father wasn't home to take her and her mother had been a nightmare to live with leading up to today. They argued too many times for her to count, most of the arguments ended up with Aimee locked up in her room.

Finally, she would be going back to Hogwarts where she could freely be herself and be with her friends, as she stood on the platform. She scanned around the crowd of students looking for Evan, when she spotted him she snuck up to him, wrapping her arms around him, he shrugged her arms off him.

"We should board the train," he said, abruptly leaving her.

He didn't hug her back, she creased her brows, leading the way to the train. He looked back at his father, who nodded at him, he sighed following her onto the train. He stopped Aimee before they walked into their compartment.

"Aimee, I don't think we can stay together,"

"What, I thought you-

"We had a great time, but it's not going to work, you're too much of a blood traitor"

"Blood traitor! How dare you? I thought," she paused her eyes filling with tears, "I thought you were different," she turned around running down the train away from him.

She sat in a compartment all alone, tears running down her cheeks, she sat with her knees up to her chest. Taking deep breaths in an attempt to calm herself, the last thing she wanted was for someone to take pity on her. She wiped her eyes, just as three people walked in.

"What happened we saw you crying from outside?" Daniel said, sitting beside her.

"Evan broke up with me," she coughed between her words, Daniel wrapped his arms around her, he shook his head at Theo and Jacob as they were turning towards the door.

Jacob and Theo withheld their anger, sitting with her as she cried, they tried to cheer her up. However, they had no idea what they could possibly say to make her feel better. She snuggled into Daniel's hug, wiping her tears on his shirt.

Daniel mouthed to Theo and Jacob not to do anything stupid, she asked Jacob to tell her about Laura hoping it would cheer her up. Which it did hearing about how Jacob met her, how he had met her parents, he hadn't told her about being a wizard though. He was worried she wouldn't want to be with him if she found out.

As the Great Hall filled with students for the feast, she sat furthest away from everyone, alone. Regulus was stuck with Avery and Mulciber, he knew she didn't like them. Evan was sat with Severus though he didn't pay attention to anything he was saying.

Evan kept glancing up at her, he creased his brows she looked like she had been crying a lot. He didn't want to make her cry, but he knew he had to break up with her. Even if he didn't want to. He didn't stay to finish his dinner but instead retreated to the dungeons.

Aimee didn't want to stay in the dungeons tonight but she had nowhere else to go. Then it hit her she was an animagus she could have easily found somewhere else to stay as a dog. Maybe she could stay with Torvus, she waited until curfew before turning in a dog.

She ran towards the forest, the wind blowing through her fur, she had no idea how she would find the centaurs. She heard rustling in the bushes, as she cautiously approached the bush, a stag jumped out followed by a dog, a rat and a werewolf.

She ran there was a werewolf in the forbidden forest, the werewolf became spooked at the new animal with them. The werewolf roared and swung its arm towards the white dog, hitting the dog against a tree. The stag, dog and rat came hurrying back at the commotion.

"Moony! Come on, we'll go back to the shack," the dog said.

"Padfoot, it's Aimee," the rat said, as the white dog turned back into Aimee, the werewolf growled at her

"Remus, I'm warning you," the dog warned growling back at the werewolf standing in front of Aimee, the rat ran between them towards the shack, temporally turning back into Peter, howling like a wolf.

"Good job Wormtail," the Stag muttered, as the werewolf ran towards the shack.

"Prongs I have to get her to Madam Pomfrey,"

"No, you stay with Moony he needs you, besides you can't carry her back to the school," the dog turned back into Sirius he lifted her up onto the stag's back.

"She'll be fine you go," the stag said riding off towards the school, while Sirius turned back into a dog running back to the shack.

The next morning, she hadn't woken up yet, Sirius made plans to go and see her, he tried to convince Remus to come and see her too. However, the guilt he felt, after realising he had hurt Aimee had caused him to stay in their dorm room all morning not bothering to go for breakfast.

Sirius walked into the hospital wing, he looked around finding her lying in a bed furthest in the room. He took a deep breath as he sat beside her, he held her hand, she didn't open her eyes. Madam Pomfrey said it was quite a nasty blow to her head she'll be a little woozy for a while but hopefully out of the hospital later that day.

"I know you're asleep and can't understand me but, I had to let you, how much you mean to me and how much I love you, I don't want you to be hurt, I know I treated you like shit the last few months but I've missed you because you are perfect to me, so perfect that I don't deserve you,"

Aimee sat in class she hadn't looked at Evan throughout the entire lesson, she could stop thinking about the dream she had, she could have sworn she had seen a werewolf. She believed it to be a dream, though it would have been the most vivid dream she ever had it seemed to be real.

She sat with Dorcas, she was positive that Dorcas could tell something happened between her and Evan. Aimee was telling her about the dream she had, how she had seen a werewolf, a rat, a stag and a dog. Sirius listened closely he was relieved to find out, Aimee thought it was a dream.

After class she had made plans to hang out with Regulus, she walked through the halls meeting him in the library. She sat down at the desk, waiting for him to get here, his classroom was the furthest from the library, whereas her's was only on the floor above.

"Hi, how are you feeling?" Regulus asked, settling his books down on the table.

"Alright, just keep getting headaches,"

"What were you doing out at night anyway?"

"I just needed some fresh air, and I didn't want to see Evan in the common room," his brows flew up, "what is it?"

"Nothing-

"You know something don't you?" Aimee questioned

"No, I was just thinking about where you were all night,"

"Don't lie to me Reg," he sighed twisting in her seat to face her.

"Evan didn't want to break up with you,"

"Then why did he?"

"Because his father told him to, I don't know the full story, I just know that it has something to do with his father,"

Regulus opened his book to a new page he began his homework, hoping she would avoid asking him any further questions. Aimee knew that it wasn't his place to say anything to her regarding Evan's decision to break up with her, she did question why? She believed that his father liked her.

Meanwhile, in Gryffindor tower, Sirius ushered James, Remus and Peter into their dorm room. He had news to tell them, she didn't remember seeing them thankfully. He reached under James' bed, taking the map that they had created over the last few weeks.

"Why did you rush us all up here?" James asked

"Aimee doesn't remember seeing us, I heard her telling Meadowes, she thought it was a dream,"

"That's great now, you don't have to feel so bad now," Peter said, patting Remus on his back

"I still know, that I hurt her,"

"She doesn't remember, Moony, you can't blame yourself for something she doesn't even remember happening," James said told him, Remus shrugged his shoulders lightly nodding his head, he couldn't forgive himself for hurting her, even if she couldn't remember.
