Johanna's phone rang.

She winced because the sound echoed back in the room under the airport. Bucky had carried her to there and Johanna was really impressed. And her legs didn't hurt anymore. Not so badly. The pain was bearable.

They looked at each other.

,,Should I answer it?" Johanna asked.

Bucky shrugged and looked away quickly.

Johanna took the phone carefully and saw that it was a strange number. She decided to answer.

,,Hello? Who is it?"

,,Johanna, it's me, Tony."

Johanna wanted to throw her phone away. It was Tony. How dare was he to call her after everything he had done? But Johanna didn't cancel the call, she wanted to know what this bastard had to say.

,,What do you want?" She asked, voice toxic.

,,I know what you did. You helped Barnes to escape and went with him."

,,So what?" Johanna had to admit that he sounded scary.

,,I want you to come back, to change your mind."

Johanna looked over her shoulder at Bucky. He was choosing weapons, guns.

,,No!" Johanna whispered. ,,You lied to me! Everything was a big lie! But now, I know the truth and I'm helping Bucky to do the right thing. And if you're on my way, I'll kill you without hesitation."

She heard a sigh and then Tony said, ,,You know that this is not the right thing. It's dangerous, he's dangerous. You know that."

Johanna bit her lip. She didn't like to admit it, but Tony was kinda right. She didn't trust Bucky fully and he could turn his back to her at every second. But...

,,No...I...You're just trying to mess with my head. You're working for the Black Shadow! How does that sound? You are helping him to kill people! Like, why the heck should I trust you? Why am I even talking to you right now?"

,,Because you don't know who to trust. That's why." Tony said quickly.

Johanna sighed. She hated Tony but he was right. The only person Johanna trusted right now was she herself.

,,My answer is no. I'll never do something for you again!"

,,Just give Barnes to me-"

,,Never!"

She heard a light sigh and then Tony said, ,,I thought that using kindness will help but-"

,,When you've been kind?" She spit.

,,But then I'll guess that we have to use harsher methods."

Johanna held her breath, waiting for Tony to speak. What he wanted to do?

,,I wonder how's your mother doing? And father?"

Johanna gasped when she understood what Tony wanted to do. It was terrifying.

,,Don't bring my family into this you bastard!" She yelled quietly.

,,Choose wisely what words you use." Tony didn't sound calm or kind anymore. His voice was cold and threatening.

,,Please, don't hurt them!"

,,I'm working for the Black Shadow so...sorry."

Johanna heard sounds and said while panicking, ,,Wait, please! Don't put the phone away!"

Sounds and then she heard Tony again.

,,What?"

,,Please, don't hurt my family!"

,,Fine. But then tell me where you and Barnes are, I'll come and we'll catch him."

,,What about me?" Johanna asked. Is Tony going to do something bad to her or what? Will he let her live after that?

,,If you tell me where you are and don't lie or try to save Barnes then I'll let you go. But you can't work in here after that."

,,I understand." Johanna said quietly. She looked over her shoulder again. Bucky was still looking for weapons, this time for knives. She didn't know what to say and silence landed between them.

A sigh. Again.

,,Okay. I won't hurt him. We won't hurt him while catching him. Not if really, really necessary. If that's what you want. I promise."

Johanna didn't expect that but she hoped that Tony really meant it. Really, really hoped.

,,Okay."

,,Was that a yes?" Tony asked and Johanna noticed a tone change in his voice. He was hopeful now.

Johanna didn't know what to do. On one side, she knew that Bucky wasn't lying and she wanted to help him but on the other side, she didn't want her family to get hurt. But, if someone won't stop the Black Shadow then they'll die anyway. Or maybe she can save them because she knows what's about to happen? And maybe Tony will talk to the Black Shadow and changes his mind so he won't kill the people living in this city?

,,Johanna, I ask for the last time, yes or no?"

Bucky coughed to get Johanna's attention and he saw how she talked, then put the phone away and turned around. There was a look on her face that he couldn't understand but he didn't care either.

,,I thought that we should sleep before the fight." He said, voice unemotional. The word 'we' still sounded weird. Then he threw something to Johanna. A watch.

It was 4.21am.

,,Yes." She nodded and looked around and saw a mattress with a blanket and pillow.

,,I and...Steve used to spend nights here when we were on a mission." Bucky said. There was endless sadness in his voice and Johanna felt sorry about him.

,,I'm sorry about what happened between you and...him."

Bucky sighed and attached the knife onto his belt. ,,Go to sleep." He was obviously avoiding her answer even though it was sincere.

Johanna nodded and took the smock and shoes off. Her legs felt better now. She put the things down next to her and laid on the mattress. Pulling the blanket over her and feeling how her eyes wanted to close, she trusted Bucky fully. She was going to sleep. That meant that she couldn't protect herself in any way and was like a little baby. Fragile and vulnerable.

Her life depended now on Bucky.

And she was willing to trust him that way.

While her eyes sink close, she hoped that she had said the right word to Tony.
