Point of view: Mahir's POV....

She sleeps soundly after having her sleeping pills. And I felt like I just failed in comforting her that she is relying on pills till now. I promise you Bela. This is the last night of you having sleeping pills. As soon as she lied down I started caressing her hair and massaging her scalp lightly to comfort her.

"I am sorry m...Mahir.", I heard her saying as she drifted to sleep. I sat there only on the floor still caressing her hairs and letting her sleep. And I didn't know when I too drifted into sleep.

Sunrays fell on my face making me open my eyes.

I adjusted myself to the light of room when my eyes fell on Bela. She was still sleeping soundly. And that's when I realised I was still sitting on floor. I got up and took out a casual tee and a pair of jeans and an jacket since I have no meetings today. And then taking a towel I went to freshen up and take a shower. After a shower, I came out fully dressed up and this time she wasn't on bed. I went downstairs to check upon her and there she was, in kitchen, fixing two mugs of coffee for us.

"Good morning.", I said casually.

"Good morning Mahir. And I am sorry for last time. It was just-", she was saying when I cut her off.

"I can understand. It's okay. You slept well?"

"Of course.", She said giving a knowing look.

"Here take your coffee.", She said giving me my coffee, then she took hers.

"Thank you. And btw get ready, we can go together to see the church where the wedding has to be held, and then we can see here around.", I told her to lift her mood up knowing how much she loves Paris. And she actually smiles sadly at this sipping her coffee.

Soon she went upstairs to get freshened up.

After half an hour, she came again in the living room fully dressed up to leave with her clutch. I smiled at her as I eyes her. She actually looks pretty.

And that's when I realise that we are kind of twinning. Black jackets we both are wearing with white tee or shirt underneath.

"Let's go.", She said suddenly bringing me out of trance and I nodded following her.

We got inside the car and asked the driver to first take us to the church.

As we reach the church, we go in only to see how magnificent it looks.

"Mahir! It's so beautiful. Look!", She said smilingly as she turned to face me on her heels. And that's when she suddenly loses her balance and I catch up to her to hold save her from falling. She lands on my chest while I stood there holding her by her waist.

"Sorry. I just keep on falling.", She says hesitantly smiling while gaining balance.

"And I am here to not let you fall.", I said assuring her when she looks up into my eyes. I guess we both know that my words hold a deeper meaning that intended to.

Then we go towards the kneeler to pray. After praying, she starts looking at the church and planning things in her head for planning the wedding and I just sit there for sometime while she did that.

After visiting church, we then got into car to see around Paris.

First destination was Louvre art gallery.

She was so excited to visit this art gallery I remember. As soon as she started taking in the beauty of this place, I saw a serenity on her face, which can't just be described in words. So hesitantly I took out my phone, and clicked a picture of her when she was looking at the paintings.

After visiting the art gallery, we visit more places as we planned, finally concluding our city tour at Effiel tower. Bela loved it here for sure because I could see her excited just like a child.

Then as we decide to take a walk, she suddenly took my hand and in hers and started walking ahead of me, while my gaze was fixed on her. And at this moment, my heart was beating erratically wanting the time to stop.

"What are you looking at Mr. Sehgal?", She suddenly asked chuckling bringing me out of my trance, but I smiled seeing her giving me a smug look.

"At you Mrs. Sehg...", I cut myself off as soon as I realise what was I going to say! Mahir! What the fuck! I looked here and there to avoid her but then my gaze finally landed on her as I saw her looking somewhere else! What? Didn't she hear what I said? As I stood there questioning it, her eyes twinkled looking somewhere.

I followed the direction of her gaze, only to see it landing on a lady selling something on the corner of street. For sure she didn't hear what I said just a moment back.

And then she literally dragged me towards the shop. These girls I tell you!

"Salut jeune fille, qu'aimeriez-vous acheter?", The lady asked Bela in French.

"Salut, Avez-vous quelque chose de mignon et différent?", Bela asked the lady and then turned towards and spoke up,"She was asking what would I like to buy and I replied-"

"You replied if she is having something cute and different to show! I know French too Bela.", I said giving her a cheeky grin. Like come on, I was university topper in many subjects along with foreign languages, and I too will flex about it. Thinking this I chuckle to myself when she just rolls her eyes. But that's when the lady spoke up grabbing our attention.

"Jeune dame, j'ai ceci à vous montrer. Je suis sûr que vous l'aimerez!", The lady said showing us a pair of bracelets.

[Translation: Young lady, I have this to show you. I am sure you will like it!]

"Mahir, these are so beautiful!", Bela said taking them in her hand admiring them with a smile while I stood there looking at her smiling face. She should smile often.

"Look how beautiful!", She said handing me the bracelets while still looking at them.

"Breathtaking!", I mumbled while I couldn't take my eyes off her.

"Elle est sûrement à couper le souffle!", The lady said teasing me as she she caught me looking at her throughout.

[Translation: She surely is breathtaking!]

But then suddenly I looked at Bela only to see her looking at her and then me continuosly may be taking in what did she just said. Ouch!

"Comment sont les bracelets ? Vous devriez tous les deux les acheter! Les jeunes couples en achètent beaucoup!", The lady said covering up for me. Thank you ma'am!

[Translation: How are the bracelets? You both should buy them! Young couples do buy them alot!]

But no! We are not a couple.

"Yeah not until now at least!", A familiar voice yelled from the back of my mind and my eyes widened. It was my damn subconscious self. Mahir! Congrats, you lost your mind completely! Mental asylum here I come!

"Ignorant le fait que j'adorerais sortir avec quelqu'un comme lui, nous ne sommes pas un couple madame!", Bela spoke up. And what she just said made my heart do somersaults.

[Translation: Ignoring the fact that I would love to date someone like him, we ain't a couple ma'am!]

"Oh vraiment désolé! Je ne savais pas. C'est juste que je l'ai vu porter une bague à l'annulaire alors j'ai pensé que vous deux...", The lady said bringing me back from the Dreamland I was in!

[Translation: Oh really sorry! I didn't know. It's just that I saw him wearing a ring in his ring finger so I thought you both..."]

The ring! In my ring finger! I am ENGAGED! And I was thinking about someone else few moments back! I was CHEATING! Heli!

As my thoughts were suffocating me right now, I looked at Bela only to see her paying for the bracelets and getting them packed. For whom is she buying those couple bracelets?

Before my thoughts could suffocate me anymore, I started walking towards our cab, and realised that Bela also followed me. The drive back to hotel was silent as we were looking outside windows. I felt her hesitant eyes on me few times. I am ignoring her of course she will be hesitant. Just wow Mahir. You just had to mess things up and you did. Wow!

As we reach my hotel, I quickly got out of the car, while Bela followed me. We pressed the top floor's button in elevator to reach my suite. As soon as we reach in, I excused myself to the balcony telling Bela that I have an important call to attend.

And as soon as I reach balcony, I dialled up Heli's number! Only she can save me from my thoughts right now!

"Hello Prince Florian!", She chirped answering the call on second ring while I closed my eyes sighing. I need to confess it to her!
