Chill chapter cause I live for bare-faced Jimin ugh.

It had been about a week since the picnic, and aside from work and taking care of my gran, the rest of the time had been taken up by hanging out with Jungkook and getting to know Jimin more. It was great to have my best friend back and to finally meet one of his newer friends.

Today was restbite day, where a nurse would come to take my gran to the local old folks home for the day, so that I could get a bit of rest and she could get some more professional care. I put on the comfiest clothes I owned, which just so happened to be a very short pair of shorts and cropped jumper that exposed the small chub on my belly.

Hair a mess and glasses on, I was just sitting down to start a F.R.I.E.N.D.S marathon, wrapping a blanket around myself, when there was a knock at the front door. I quickly stood up, making my way over to the door and opening it, shocked to see Jimin stood there.

"Hi," I smiled awkwardly, pulling at my clothes to try and cover more skin as I steppedaside to let him in. He stepped inside, slipping off his shoes as he followed me back through to the living room. I paused the show, sitting back down and nodding for him to join me on the couch beside me.

"How are you today?" He asked as he sat down, and I brought the blanket up to my chest, making a meh face before asking him how he was.

"Ok, just wanted to visit you because I knew you were alone today," He smiled shyly and I nodded, playing the tv again and turning the sound down slightly so we could still talk if we wanted to.

"I've never watched this," Jimin admitted and I looked at him in mock horror.

"You haven't lived," I chuckled as we both turned back to the tv as the episode began.

About three episodes in, I stood up to go and make a cup of tea, asking Jimin if he would like one. He shyly nodded and I went through to make it, curious as to why he was being so shy. Once the tea was made, I made my way back through, placing the mugs down on the coffee table and sitting back down on the sofa.

"Do you um maybe want to do something for lunch?" Jimin spoke up after a while, and I nodded, smiling at him as I stood up and began to make my way through to my room.

"I'll just get dressed, give me two minutes," I sighed as I opened my bedroom door. I quickly changed into a pair of black high waisted jeans and white t-shirt, slipping on a pair of red vans. I grabbed the hoodie Jimin had leant me a couple of days before. I walked out of my room, smiling at Jimin as I turned off the tv and we made our way out of the house.

I locked up the front door before we began walking down the path and towards the city centre. I was looking around, thinking about where we should go. I looked over to Jimin, who was already looking at me, making me blush uncontrollably as I tried to cover my cheeks.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked him, avoiding all eye contact as we continued to walk down the pavement.

"I know this place round the corner," he suggested and I nodded, following him as he led me round the street corner to a small, quiet restaurant. Jimin opened the door, gesturing for me to go ahead of him and I smiled, thanking him as I went in and sat down at a table with him sitting across from me.

"This is really nice," I smiled at Jimin as he handed a slim menu, and I opened it up, having a scan of the different options. I was tempted by the hot chocolate, sighing happily as I set the menu down.

Jimin was still reading through his own menu, in his own little world, and I took the opportunity to admire his features. He had beautiful puppy-like eyes that danced along the page as he read, and a few strands of caramel toned hair were resting on his forehead.

Before long, Jimin too set his menu down, catching me in the act of looking at him. I could feel myself blushing deeply as I looked down at the table, not quite sure why there was a fluttering in my stomach. I had only known him a week, but was I catching feelings for this idol sat in front of me.

The unbearable silence was broken when a waitress came over, quickly noting down our orders before hurrying off once more, leaving Jimin and I to ourselves again.

"How are you spending valentine's day?" I asked curiously, trying my hardest to maintain eye contact with him without turning into a pile of mush.

"I'm not sure, I don't have any admirers to look out for me," he replied with a small grin and I let out a light chuckle.

"Well Jungkook and I always have a movie day at mine on Valentine's because forever alone," I let out a small giggle. "You're more than welcome to join us," I suggested, and he paused for a moment before nodding his head, smiling in an impossibly cute way.

We continued to talk back and forth, getting to know each other even more, as our orders came out. I had gotten an spicy egg mayo sandwich to have with my hot chocolate, feeling my stomach grumble at the sight of the food.

It didn't take long for us both to finish our food, taking our time with our hot drinks. I was listening to Jimin talk about a fan sign experience, when I brought my mug up to my face, taking a long sip of the chocolaty goodness. I set the mug down once more, scrunching up my eyebrows as Jimin began to chuckle at me.

"What?" I asked self consciously as I felt my cheeks start to heat up, and I looked down at my shirt to see if I had dropped anything on it. But there was nothing there, and I looked up at Jimin once more, hoping he would tell me what was wrong.

"You have cream on your nose, here," Without time to prepare myself, Jimin had leant over to me, wiping the cream from my nose with his thumb. Both of us looked at each other with flushed cheeks for a few moments before looking away, avoiding each other's eye contact at all costs.

"My gran will be getting back soon, I should head back," I said as I glanced down at my watch. Jimin nodded, and we both set our payment for the meal on the table, myself refusing to let Jimin pay for me.

We began the walk back to my house, eventually breaking the silence and going back to telling each other stories. Jimin loved to hear all the secrets about Jungkook that I wouldn't have gotten away with telling if he was here to defend himself.

Too soon, we had arrived back at my house and I sighed, turning to Jimin to thank him for the day. "It really took my mind off some things that were weighing down on it, so thank you," I smiled as I began to take off the hoody to give back to him, but he stopped me.

"But it's yours," I looked at him in confusion and he just shook his head.

"Consider it a gift to remind you of me when I'm back in Seoul," He cheekily winked, before waving goodbye and walking in the opposite direction, going to his own house.

"Park Jimin, You really are something else," I sighed to myself as I made my way up the garden path and inside.
