Backstory Overview ⋆ Ahn Hi-yul was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, living in a chaotic yet loving townhouse. He was raised by his parents and raised with his three older siblings, making him the youngest in a family of six.

The Ahn siblings were and are all very close to each other. His older brothers, Cha-yul and Sun-yul, were like the Weasley twins. Two people, one mind. With them born around the same time just a year apart, it was no shock to the family. However, the only lady, Naeul, was like the fun yet sensible voice of the quartet. Hi-yul would be their tiny ringleader. He was always more bold, confident and sassy than his siblings. That's why he got to where he is now.

Hi-yul was singing the moment he learned to talk, even before he could comprehend music. The way he talked was musical, it had its own rhythm. His parents quickly signed him up for vocal classes when he was old enough and he kept going to them, never missing a day.

This is where the "Ahn Children Audition Tradition" started. Cha-yul and Sun-yul auditioned as a duo, they didn't pass. They weren't upset; they just weren't happy about going back to school. However, they did end up passing and graduating with flying colors later on. Naeul was next and she did get accepted and became a trainee. She decided to leave said company a few months later because she wasn't in the right space for the idol industry or to train.

Hi-yul was next. He passed with little to no hesitation from the company staff. He even got a personal note and positive words from La Vie's Erity, who he's become a big fan of.

He is now one of the best leaders in the company and one of the busiest.
