(If you grew up with the Teen Titans show on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s, then this episode is a reference to the Starfire and Raven episode! It was one of my favorites as a kid. It stuck with me for so long! So, I wrote Star and Kim in a similar fashion! Enjoy!)

        "Thanks for helping me with the furniture!" Randy said warmly to Star and Kim, "Danny said something about a storage room needing protection. Not sure what that means"

"Probably work related. I am surprised you are here, Kim. Thought you would be busy with your job" Star asked with a grin as she helped moved one box.

"So not the drama" she replied, "We always get a day off in a work week if we need it. Ron's got me covered if anything important happens"

"Either way, thanks so much" Randy said in relief, "I am grateful that the director allowed me a chance to move in and all that. Though, everyone else I know is either busy with work, or I cannot say anything to"

Randy wiped the sweat off his forehead as he laughed nervously. He shook his head and turned to the girls. He wore a white shirt and black shorts with a pair of socks on. His purple hair was sweaty, but nothing bad.

Star and Kim had their hairs in ponytails. Star wore a black tee-shirt and blue shorts. She had a pink headband on her head as she placed a box in the kitchen. Kim wore a white tang top and red shorts. She carried a box to the basement and glanced at the book.

It did react for the past few days, but she wasn't sure if that was a good or bad sign.

"Hey! That should be it!" Randy said with a grin as he went to the fridge to prepare some ice-cold water and lemonade for them, "Thanks for the help. I should be able to handle everything on my own from here"

He grinned as Star sat at the counter and drank some lemonade. Kim took a glass of water for herself as she leaned against the counter. The trio remained quiet until Star realized something.

"Hey! What do you mean by you can't say anything to?" Star asked as Randy near choked on his drink.

"Nothing! Nothing at all! Who said that? Not me!" he said flustered as Star giggled at his reaction.

"I sense girl troubles" Kim said as she took a sip of water.

Randy sighed as he poured his drink down the drain.

"Well, she's a pretty girl who always know what to do" Randy confessed with a shake of his head, "But I should get to know her first before asking her out. But I don't know anything about girls. Girls are so mysterious to me!"

"What about us and Heidi?" Star asked as she narrowed her eyes at him.

"Well, yeah! You're girls, but you're not mysterious! You're my friend! That's all! I don't have an interest in you, Kim, and Heidi. That would be weird on so many levels! I mean, I did have a crush on Heidi when we were teenagers! Please don't tell Howard. He would never let me live that down" Randy said as he slammed his head on the counter.

The girls laughed at him as he laughed too.

"Well, that's it for today. Again, I should be able to handle everything here. Though, Nomicon hasn't said anything to us. Should we be worried?" Randy asked as he washed the glasses.

"Nomicon?" both girls asked bewildered as he shrugged.

"We never thought of a name for the book, so I thought Nomicon. In a story my okaasan used to tell me, the Nomicon was an ancient book filled with wisdom from previous heroes. I thought I could call the book that" Randy explained with a grin.

"Huh. I was calling it Magical Instructions" Star said as she hopped down from the chair and stretched.

"That is better than what I called it. And if you must know, it was Sitch" Kim answered as Randy laughed at her name.

She glared to silence him.

"Well, since we are done here, why don't we have a girls' night?" Kim suggested to Star.

"Sure! That sounds like a lot of fun!" Star said warmly as she turned to Randy one more time, "Are you sure you won't need our help?"

He waved his hand and reassured them, "Don't worry about it. Plus, Howard and Heidi are coming over to help me. Though, it will probably be Heidi who helps me out more. Anyway, go have fun! I've got this! I'll even hide Nomicon somewhere in the flat where they won't be able to reach"

"Thanks Randy!" Star said warmly as she left with Kim.

The two of them walked down the sidewalk as Randy began to unpack and put things away.

"So, what do you want to do, Star?" Kim asked as she looked to her right to see her friend.

She was surprised to not see her there and looked for her the small girl. She then found Star looking through the glass of a store. Curious, Kim joined her and was surprised to see Star drooling at the site of a candy store.

"Do you want some?" Kim asked as she laughed and reminded her of her little brothers and Ron.

"Is it that obvious?" Star asked excitedly.

The two of them entered the candy store as Star rushed to the jars. She picked out the candy as Kim checked to see if she could buy Ron anything. Although she preferred cakes and tea, candy was more of Ron's thing. She did share with him whenever he had a bag on him. She was kind of surprised Star would still enjoy childish treats.

"Hey, do you know what kind of candy a young adult would like?" Kim asked until she noticed Star was holding a bag of different gumdrops, "What are those?"

"Gumdrops! It can be chewy or crunchy! Wanna try it?" she asked as she held one out to Kim, "It also have different flavors!"

"Maybe later, but I will definitely buy those for Ron" she said in relief, "After this, do you want to go to the mall? I would love to do some shopping"

Star was surprised as she finished one and paid for the rest.

"What's wrong? Did I say something strange?" Kim asked as she held the bag of gumdrops to pay for.

"Oh! No! I am just surprised. I usually do that with my mother, but I've never done that with a friend before. Mostly, we hang out at the karaoke shop and tea shop. We buy candy too and play a bunch of video games too!" Star explained, "My mother usually just takes me to get new clothes. So, what are we going to do at the mall?"

Star was excited for about five minutes. She soon found herself sitting at a chair as Kim excitedly went from one stack of clothes to the next.

"This is not what I had in mind" Stat confessed as she waited for Kim.

"Sorry, but between being a heroine and my job, I didn't have time to look at the newest trends!" she said excitedly, "I, uh, do you see anything you would honestly like to try?"

Star glanced around and noticed some cute headbands and accessories. She happily picked one up and presented it to Kim who laughed and nodded her head.

"That's so you!" she said with a grin.

Star was relieved as she searched for more while Kim looked at the other clothes. However, they realized that they do not have much in common and were starting to get worried about that.

"That should be it. Thanks, you two" Randy said to Heidi and Howard while pouring a glass of water for Heidi.

"No biggie. Glad to help!" Heidi answered warmly as Randy noticed his phone was buzzing.

He picked it up as Heidi took a glass of water for herself and nodded to him.

She has the same orange hair as her little brother, but she has emerald eyes. She wore a simple tan shirt and brown skirt. She has long white socks and had a bag at her side. Howard was resting on the couch and having a bag of chips for himself as Randy unlocked his phone and answered the call.

"Sup Danny" Randy answered with a grin.

"Just fixing a robot" Danny asked as he glanced to Tucker who was reading a new blueprint, "How is Ghost Arts and the girls?"

"Ghost Arts? Oh, you mean Nomicon! Wow, we really do call the book different names. The girls are having a girls' night and I just finished unpacking everything with help from Howard and Heidi. Now, just resting at the flat" Randy replied as he drank some water.

"Really? Those two?" Danny asked surprised as he tightened a bolt.

"What do you mean?" Randy asked confused.

"Duh! Those two have the elements of lightning and earth. Those are not the most compatible elements" Danny replied as he glanced at the lose bolts.

Randy tilted his head back and forth as he pondered on Danny's words. Randy disagreed.

"I don't think so. Fire and ice are opposites, but we are getting along just fine" Randy pointed out, "Plus, who cares? Sometimes the most opposite of people turn out to be the best of friends!'

"Yeah, you and my little brother are prefect examples of that, Sandy" Heidi said as Howard and Danny burst into laughter.

Randy sighed as he let them laugh. She could never get his name right, and to this day, he always wondered why she never got his name right.

"Though, you may have a point" Danny said to Randy, "Those two may have more in common than we realize. Hey, so do we have that meeting later tonight?"

"Yeah, I'll order some pizza" Randy reassured as he hung up and went back to relaxing with his best friend and his big sister for a bit.

Meanwhile, Star and Kim were sitting in the food court, trying to find something to talk about. It wasn't going well to say the least. They sat in awkward silence as Star sipped a smoothie while Kim was eating a salad. They were not sure what to even talk about.

"So, uh, is work going ok?" Star asked nervously to Kim as she stopped drinking her smoothie.

"Yeah! We just worked on a new product! It is kind of dangerous yet interesting" Kim answered as Star perked up at that.

"What kind of product?" Star asked curiously.

"Well, if you want, I can show it to you" Kim offered as she checked her bag for the keys to the lab, "I don't know if it is something you'll like, but it doesn't hurt to show it off"

"Great!" Star answered as she chugged her smoothie, threw it in the trash, grabbed Kim's wrist, and ran to her workplace.

Kim unlocked the door and led Star to the lab. Star was surprised to see a lab in this company, but she got a good feeling about this. Kim walked to the cabinets and took out a bag of makeup supplies. Star wasn't sure about this anymore as Kim shook her head and pressed a button on a remote to make robots appear before them!

"What is this place?!" Star exclaimed as Kim took the eyeliner and aimed it at one.

She pressed a button and fired a laser to destroy it! Star's expression changed to excitement as Kim blew out the smoke forming on top of it.

"This is a place that creates handy weapons and accessories. We hide the weapon part and try to sell on the accessory part. It is useful to those who need some form of protection when they don't have the skills for it" Kim explained as she held out the bag to Star.

"Oh, yes, I do!" Star shouted as she took the bag and emptied it.

She opened the compact and discovered it was a mirror, but she took the eyeliner and fired the laser at it to deflect it to crash into another robot.

"Wait, why do have access to this?" Star asked in a suspicious yet knowing tone.

"What can I say? I never really enjoyed the meetings and sitting in a desk" Kim answered as she took the comb and used it as a hammer, "I don't suppose you enjoy the fighting too"

"I work part time at a dojo that my best friend, Marco, owns! I love training and fighting those little kids! Of course, I can never hurt the kids, so I have to be careful" Star answered with a grin, "Do you want to join us? It is fun!"

"I wouldn't mind it" Kim answered with a grin.

The two of them shared a laugh as a robot was coming towards them. Kim flipped it to the ground, and Star kicked it. The two of them shared a high five as it exploded behind them. However, the doors opened as the two of them turned around to see Vanessa approaching them.

"What are you doing here, Kim? I thought it was your day off" she asked suspiciously.

"Oh, well, I wanted to show Star around" Kim answered nervously as Star put the inventions back in the bag.

"Did you have to trash my lead?" Vanessa asked with a sigh as she kneeled and checked on the damaged robots.

"Lead?" Star asked curiously as Vanessa shook her head.

"Forget it. I'll have the other robots and Wade look after it. Please do not destroy anything else" she asked of them seriously.

Star nodded as Kim remained quiet and observed Vanessa. However, the robots were slowly coming online and sending a signal to Dr. Doof.

"Hey, Dr. Doof, what is up with your computer?" Tom asked as he looked up from desk and doing his work.

Dr. Doof rubbed his eyes and sat at his desk to find out that his robots had awaken! He typed up a few commands on his keyboard and was surprised to see that it was online!

"Wow! Someone figured out a way to turn on my robots!" he said surprised.

"Oh, then use it" Tom said with a shrug.

"What? Are you sure?" Dr. Doof asked unsure, "We don't know who is near it. It could actually hurt someone"

"And we care why?" Tom replied as he rolled his eyes, "If you won't do it, then I will"

Tom pressed a button on the computer to make the robot attack.

"Whatever, just clean up the mess and please leave. I have work to do" Vanessa said to Kim and Star.

She failed to realize that the robots were waking up, but Kim and Star didn't. They remained alert as Vanessa noticed their changed behavior.

"What is up with you?" she asked as Kim ran first and tackled herself and Vanessa to the ground as the robot threw a punch!

Star then picked up the eyeliner and blasted it with the laser.

"What the? Did you two do that?" Vanessa asked bewildered.

"No" they replied as they stood up.

Kim walked to the robot and examined it. She couldn't find anything they did to activate it, so she could only assume it was activated by a remote control from a distance. However, it looked like Star got a good shot and defeated it. They should be safe.

"Well, this isn't worth the drama. It was only one that came alive after all" Kim reassured them, "But to just be safe, we should lock this place up and ensure that nothing else breaks out to do some damage"

Vanessa agreed as she reached for the remote to lock it up. However, a few more robots came to life and broke through the doors! Kim pulled Vanessa back as Star used the eyeliner destroyed a few of them, but some were still coming!

"Time to run!" Kim shouted as she pulled Vanessa after her while Star ran after them.

The trio ran into another room as the robots were chasing after them. They ran to the break room as they listened to the robots.

"We need another plan" Kim whispered to Star as they glanced to Vanessa, "We can't have her see our heroine forms. So, we need another plan. Got any?"

Star tilted her head back and forth as she tried to think of an idea. Vanessa was anxiously looking at the robots and how they operate. She was worried about the robots and was trying to find a certain button on them. When the robot turned their back to her, she grinned. She saw a red button that was disguised as a light.

"I've got it" Vanessa whispered as Kim and Star glanced to her.

Vanessa then quietly walked after the robot and pressed the button. She then rushed back to them as the robot exploded! Vanessa grinned as Star's jaw dropped and Kim was impressed and suspicious about this. How did Vanessa know the robot had a self-destruction button?

"That was awesome! Do all the robots have that?" Star asked excitedly.

"Yeah. Just on their backs" Vanessa said with a grin.

"Kim! Let's make it a competition! The one who destroys the most gets to buy the other cake!" Star exclaimed as she rushed to the robots.

"Oh, yeah! No way am I losing to you!" Kim said excitedly as she ran into the fight.

Vanessa blinked at them, but she smiled. She felt relieved, but a tad bit worried. After all, they were a little too excited about fighting robots.

"Hey! Kim! I think know what we have in common!" Star said excitedly as she kicked a robot down and slammed her hand on the button.

"I do too!" Kim replied in delight as she backflipped and pressed a button behind another robot to explode it, "We both love having an adventure in our lives! Not to mention, we love having dangerous fun too!"

Star laughed in delight as they shared a high five before running back to self-destruct the rest of the robots. Star slid underneath on and then pressed another button to destroy it. Kim jumped over another one and then pressed the button too. However, one robot stood in front of Vanessa. Kim grabbed Star's hand and then threw her at the robot. Star then punched the robot's button to then lunged to protect Vanessa from the explosion and broken robots. Kim ran up and helped them up. She and Kim held a friendly expression while Vanessa wasn't sure what to think of them.

Meanwhile, Tom and Dr. Doof were surprised to see the robots destroyed in the matter of five minutes.

"Well, that was quick" Dr. Doof said impressed.

"What the hell?!" Tom exclaimed as he grabbed his head in disbelief while heating up.

"I can't believe if they found the self-destruct button" Dr. Doof said impressed before Tom grabbed his coat.

"Why would you create something like that?!" Tom exclaimed to him.

"Because what if your robot goes rouge and nearly hurts you? Then you won't be complaining!" Dr. Doof pointed out as Tom dropped the doctor.

He let out a powerful yell as he burst into flames. Julian was laughing while Dr. Doof ducked under a fireproof desk.

"Another peaceful day for us, villains" Gideon said with a shake of his head.

"Well, thanks for the help" Vanessa said with a sigh.

She was able to confirm something, but she should secure the broken parts. She dusted herself off as she noticed the two girls were having a chat.

"I will make sure these get locked up. Kim, you should enjoy your day off with your friend. I'll cover for you" Vanessa said with a grin before turning to her work.

Kim and Star thanked her as they made their way back to Randy's townhome.

"Hey! We are here!" Kim greeted warmly as she and Star arrived with a cake.

"Wow, your place looks great!" Star said in awe.

"Thanks!" Randy said as he greeted them with Danny behind him.

"So, did you two have a fun girl's day?" Danny asked as he gave a knowing expression to Randy.

"Actually, we did" Kim said as Star took the cake and held it out to them.

"Really? I knew it! Come on, we need to celebrate!" Randy exclaimed in delight as he held his hand out to Danny.

Danny groaned as he took out his wallet and paid Randy twenty dollars. The team went into the living room, got out a few plates, drinks, and enjoyed a nice cake together while discussing their schedule for tomorrow. They had already decided that Wednesdays would be training days with the book, so now, they just have to work on patrols and searching for the seal, together.
