"Look man, we can't just keep sending investigators over to that blasted Pizzaplex of yours! Honest to God, we've just about had enough with the disappearances that happen anywhere near a Freddy Fazbear's institution!"

"Yes, I know. I know this looks bad," Jerry stated. He was currently on the phone with one of the most professional investigators around. And no it wasn't the police. Fiddling around with the wire attached to the phone, the manager continued, "But this isn't about missing children right now or a dead body, at least I hope not."

"What are you talking about? Does this have anything to do with the Pizzaplex burning down a month ago and the apparent sinkhole y'all built over?" the man on the other side of the line asked. He sounded like he was tired. Twirling the wire around his finger, Jerry replied, "Yep." Standing up, the balding man walked around his desk as he explained, "The construction crews have cleared away the rubble and have moved on to finish some parts in the new Pizzaplex. It should be quiet enough around the old site for you and your team to investigate the sinkhole."

There was dead silence first, then the response came, "My team better be fully compensated."

"I'll pay you and all of your men three times your payroll."

End of phone call.

"Welcome to the new and improved Pizzaplex everyone! Er, perhaps we should have DJ go through the loading dock. He's not going to fit through the front door," Jerry stated hours later. Vanessa, Shane and Trish had arrived in a truck with all of the repaired animatronics. Shane led DJ and one mini Music Man to the loading dock on the other side of the building. The boss led everyone else through the front doors. "Go ahead and explore, have fun," Jerry stated, waving goodbye before he left, leaving the workers and animatronics to do whatever they want.

"Oh my god it looks amazing!" Trish exclaimed, spinning in a circle so she could see all of her surroundings. The short woman was joined by Chica, who was just as excited. "Wow! I can't wait to see the rest of the Pizzaplex!" the chicken animatronic trilled, clasping her hands together. Walking alongside her, Roxy wagged her fluffy tail as she remarked, "It's very beautiful."

"Which way is the daycare?" Sundrop asked tiredly. Everyone turned to him, shocked that he wasn't acting all happy and excited about the new Pizzaplex. Gently taking the sun themed animatronic's hand, Trish merely gave him a gentle tug as she replied, "I think it's this way, come on Sunny. I'll take you there." Following them, Map Bot waved a map in the air as he exclaimed, "Here, take a map!"

"Well, I think we should go explore. Right Chica?" Roxy asked. Clapping her hands together, Chica chirped, "Oh yes Roxy! Let's go explore!" Standing nearby, Monty rolled his eyes and scoffed. Freddy was on the girls' side though as he remarked, "That is a great idea! We should explore this new place!"

"Freddy, you had a special announcement first," Vanessa kindly reminded the bear animatronic. Confused at first, Freddy finally heard a little knock inside of him. Kneeling down, he opened up his chest cavity. In front of everyone gathered at the lobby yet, Gregory hopped out. The girl animatronics gasped in unison. "Freddy," Chica piped up, "I'm not sure if we should have kids here yet."

"Especially this little rat!" Monty snapped, his teeth bared. Looking up at Freddy, Roxy noticed the strange look in his eyes. "Alright Fredster, what is it?" the wolf animatronic asked, raising one eyebrow. Scratching her chin thoughtfully, she continued, "I know that look. You have something on your mind."

"Yeah, I agree with Roxy. You've been strange all day, both you and Vanessa," Gregory chimed in, turning around to look at the bear animatronic. Wringing his hands nervously, Freddy struggled to find the words he needed at this moment. Rolling her eyes impatiently, Vanessa walked over and elbowed the robot in the gut. "Come on, get out with it," the security guard commanded, "We don't have all night."

"Right! Right, of course. Um, guys?" Freddy stuttered. Clearing his throat, the robot placed a hand on Gregory's shoulder as he resumed speaking, "I know the past month has been crazy for all of us and we'll need time to adjust accordingly. I don't want to freak you guys out because of that but I believe there is something you must know." Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Freddy announced, "I wish to adopt Gregory as my son."

The reactions came streaming in.
