A week had gone by. The big day had finally arrived. The Pizzaplex was finally reopening its doors after so many months. Everyone was excited, and not just the guests that were bound to come streaming in. The staff was excited too.

"Oh I can't wait, Vanessa! To be able to take everyone on tours again! It's going to be amazing!" Trish exclaimed, skipping along as she clapped her hands ecstatically. Adjusting her hat, Vanessa patted her friend on the shoulder as she replied, "You'll do great bestie, just don't get too crazy." Trish smiled and nodded her head before she suddenly lunged at the security guard and hugged her. Noticing this, Chica rushed over and joined the embrace as she cried, "Ooh I love hugs!"

"Incoming guys, Jerry's here," Shane pointed out. Sure enough, both the humans and the animatronics could see the manager coming over. They promptly stopped in their tracks. The balding man finally made it over to the group. "Good, you're all here-" Jerry started to say when Map But suddenly interrupted, "Take a map."

"Map Bot, not now," Freddy spoke softly. Gently taking the smaller robot's hand, the bear quietly pulled him away from the manager. Giving the machines an eye roll, Jerry continued, "Alrighty, the place will be opening up soon. I have somewhere to be so I'm trusting you three to make sure everything runs smoothly." It was at that moment the animatronics realized that Jerry was consulting with the humans.

"You're not sticking around for the big day?" Shane remarked, surprised. Shaking his head, Jerry responded curtly, "Oh no, I hate being around kids." Vanessa and her friends shared a look of both confusion and disbelief. Why would anyone have a mall designed for kids and yet not like them? That's just dumb. But they kept listening regardless as Jerry went on, "I have something important to attend to anyway. Besides, you guys should be able to handle the crowds and these stupid robots, right?"

"Of course," Vanessa answered quickly before anyone else could. She knew any one of the animatronics would have taken offense to Jerry's words. Seeming pleased with the agreement, Jerry turned to walk away when a sneeze sounded. The balding man turned to see a worried expression painted on Freddy's face. "Bless you Freddy," the manager quipped before he left. Shuffling his feet, Freddy rumbled, "Thank you sir."

"Weird, I didn't know you guys could sneeze," Trish remarked as she turned to the bear animatronic. Before the tour guide could inquire more, Vanessa cleared her throat and piped up, "Trish, Shane. Do you guys wanna make sure DJ is ready for the day? I'll call you guys when the doors are opening." Grabbing Shane's hand and dragging him along, Trish squealed with delight, "MUSIC MAN! YES! Come on Shane, let's go check on the DJ!"

"We'll be back!" Shane called out, his voice fading as he rounded a corner. Sighing quietly, Vanessa turned her attention to Freddy. "Okay, let them out," she muttered. Grinning sheepishly, the bear animatronic opened up his stomach hatch. Sitting inside with Grace, Gregory apologized, "Sorry, her pigtails tickled my nose."

"No worries superstar, the coast is clear now," Freddy declared. First Chica came over and collected Grace. Then Gregory climbed out of the robot. Gasping in horror, Sundrop exclaimed, "That is not a safe play area-"

"We know," everyone chimed in. Scratching her chin thoughtfully, Roxy commented, "Ya know, there would have been enough room if my little brother actually helped out and carried one of the kids in his chest cavity." Sending a pointed glare at the wolf, Monty growled, "Just cuz you're my big sister doesn't mean I won't beat the crap out of you. No child is getting inside me."

"Enough guys. Let's be serious for a moment," Vanessa instructed. Gaining everyone's attention, the security guard explained, "Alright, I'm not against Gregory and Grace exploring the Pizzaplex while the other guests are here. But I think it's best if they're not constantly by Freddy and Chica, that might look suspicious. Especially with Grace being very young."

"I agree," Chica admitted, cuddling Grace. Thinking for a moment, the chicken animatronic suggested, "How about I leave her with you Sunny? Then I can come by throughout the day to check on her." Clapping his hands together, Sundrop cheered, "Splendid idea! I can take her over now, if you would like?" Nodding her head, Chica handed Grace over. Looking down at Gregory, Freddy asked, "Do you also wanna do that superstar?"

"I can hide there until more people arrive. Then I can wander around, blend in. That kind of thing," Gregory stated. Patting the young boy on the head, Freddy replied, "Alright. We can meet back up around lunch then." Giving the bear animatronic a fist bump, Gregory added, "And for the big show tonight!"

"Oh, right. That's happening tonight," Roxy murmured nervously. Reaching over, Chica patted the wolf on the back as she reassured her, "Don't worry, you're gonna do fantastic. You are the best, remember that." Casting her eyes downwards, Roxy mumbled, "Yeah..." The wolf animatronic suddenly squeaked in surprise when both Chica and Freddy hugged her. Gregory joined in, wrapping his arms around her leg. Carefully handling Grace, Sundrop added himself to the group hug. Feeling better, Roxy wagged her tail slightly.

"Well, aren't you all a wholesome bunch. Unbelievable," Monty grumbled. Adjusting his sunglasses, the alligator animatronic marched off as he called over his shoulder, "Still one last chance to get rid of those kids before the higher ups find out! I mean it!" All three of the other Glamrocks let out an exasperated sigh.

"Okay, hugging time is over. I better get the doors open," Vanessa pointed out before she headed for the main lobby. The animatronics dispersed. Helping Gregory up onto Sundrop's shoulders, Freddy promised, "I'll see you later, superstar, have a good day." Giving the bear one more hug, Gregory answered, "You too Dad."

"Let's go kiddies, to the daycare we go!" Sundrop declared. He and the kids set off with Map Bot on their heels as a pre recorded male voice crackled over the speakers, "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the grand reopening of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex!"
