After Nightmare knocked me out, I woke up, floating in eternal darkness.

"You and your family are ours now. This is a nightmare you won't wake from." Nightmare kept repeating. His red eyes were enormous in front of me.

"Yes, I know. Out of all people, why do you haunt me?!" I yell.

"We haunt everyone, child. We can exist in the real world, but we would rather not." Nightmare Freddy said, appearing from the darkness beside me. "We've always been hiding in your shadow."

Soon they were all around me. I couldn't do anything. I was floating, with invisible restraints. Suddenly a picture of my family, sitting under a tree, appeared in front of me.

"The beginning of a week. We take one member of your family." Nightmare says.

Suddenly my dad fades away from the picture.

"Each member taken, a new one is inserted. If you can't stop us by Friday, we will take over your whole family. Survive the night, and we will all further.

I flashed back to my room, and I started thinking about my dad. I rushed into my parents room, and my dad was gone. There wasn't even a list of stuff we had to do, which he does every day before he leaves.

I dash downstairs into the living room, and my mom is there, making breakfast.

"Morning, sleepyhead. Would you like some pancakes?" she asked.

"Yes please. I'm starving." I said, sitting down.

"Max, have you seen your father? He didn't wake me up like he usually does." my mom asked me.

I didn't mention the nightmares.

Through the rest of the day, me, my siblings and my mom went to the park, and when night fell, Nightmare's game began. About fifteen minutes from nine, I heard clunking. I grabbed my flashlight and shone it around. It was coming from the closet. I went over and opened it up, only to find Nightmare Freddy inside. He roared at me, and tried to push me, but I dodged out of the way and he fell to the floor. I was about to rip out the wires connecting his head to his body, but a yellow bear appeared, his top hat and bow tie purple, and he had the same shape as normal Freddy, and he was staring at me.

"Hey, hey, cool your temper! That's Freddy." he says. He walks over to Freddy, as I'm sitting on him, and speaks in his ear.

"This isn't who you are. Revert." he says. Freddy suddenly reverts back to his old self. I get off him and stand up.

"Ugh, that was horrible. Max? What happened?" he asked, as I help him up.

"You were in Nightmare form." I said. I turn to the other bear

"You're Fredbear, right?" I ask.

"Yes, child. I'm surprised you know me. Me and Spring Bonnie were decommissioned, but we didn't know someone would know us." Fredbear said.

Flashback about two years ago. Summer, August 12th.

I was at Fredbear's Family Diner with my family and friends. Both of the animatronics were on the stage, performing. As we ate, I saw someone slip into the back room. I tell my dad I'm gonna use the bathroom. I slip into the back room, and look around. There was no one there, but when I turned back around, everyone was gone. I saw four tall kids crowded around another kid, who looked like he was crying his eyes out.

"Your brother is kind of a baby, huh?" one of them says.

"Hey! What are you idiots doing to that poor kid?" I yell.

When the turn around, I was shocked. They each had a mask. Freddy, Foxy, Chica, and Bonnie.

"Who are you? Why are you here. I thought I told you guys to clear everyone out!" the Foxy one yelled.

"We did!" another shouted.

I must've been in there for a while. They suddenly run at me, and I have to act quick. I dodge the first two but the third kicks me to the ground, and I black out.

I wake up to the bullies at my face, staring at me.

"Since your here, we might as well make you watch us!" Foxy says. He backs up and I see the kid in Bonnie's arm, and he's crying. Foxy grabs his other arm and they hoist him up towards Fredbear. I knew what they were doing. Fredbear's mouth closes down with such force it can crush a human skull. They tilted his head toward Fredbear's mouth, but I reacted. I got up, but I had ropes around my wrist. I always keep a pocket knife with me, and I managed to grab it and cut myself loose. I ran toward the bullies and head butted foxy straight in the side. He fell and let go of the kid, and I yanked the other bullies arm away from him.

"Go outside and wait! I'll fend them off!" I say to the crying kid. He nods and rushed outside.

"Come on! We were just getting to the fun part!" Foxy yelled. He got up and charged me, but he was suddenly picked up by the back of his shirt. I see Fredbear, one hand holding the kid, another his microphone.

"Well, well, well. What have we here? Kids shoving poor children in me? I don't think so. You two have been very bad. If you don't leave, me and Springy over there will have a talk." he said.

The bullies nodded and ran off. I think the crying kids parents came to pick him up.

"Well, child. You seem to be confident." he says.

"My name's Max." I say.

"Well, Max. You are quite the brave one." Spring Bonnie says.

"Kid, why don't you help us pick up?"

I nod and get to work.

About half an hour later, I hear spilling, and I see oil coming from another room. I open the door and find Fredbear, under a ton of towels, shaking.

"Fredbear? You all right?" I ask. When I take off the towels, the sight was horrifying. Fredbear was at least twice his normal size, he had red eyes, and he had sharp teeth like knives. He body was all tattered, and he roared at me. He backhanded me into the wall, and my back hit the edge of a shelf. I managed to get up and stagger outside to warn Spring Bonnie, and she said she had it under control. She leapt at Fredbear and blinded him with her hands, and then flipped him to the ground. She told me to grab his arms, which wasn't easy due to his massive claws, and then Spring Bonnie whispered something in his ear.

"This isn't who you are. Revert. You're my friend, and you are not a monster." she said.

Fredbear went back to his normal form, and he got up.

"Ugh, what happened? All I remember was Springy telling me I'm not a monster." he says.

We wrap it up and I wake up from my flashback.

"Max? You all right?" Freddy asks.

"Yeah, I'm good. You guys better hide. I'll make room in the garage." I say.

I clear out room in the garage, and Freddy and Fredbear settle in.

I wake back up in eternal blackness, and Nightmare greets me with his enormous eyes.

"You made it through night one. Next one won't be so easy." he says.

As he says that, Nightmare Freddy is gone. The picture appears again, and my mother fades this time.

I'm out in my room, but I have black metal gloves on my hands so I can't interact with anything.

"Make it through, and finish the night, Tijorn." Nightmare says. As I went to the open door, I see piercing purple eyes in the living room, and they're staring straight at me. They charge me and knock me out. I wake up in my room again.

"You died. Five lives and you are ours." Nightmare says.

Guess I'm gonna have to make it around with that thing haunting me. I hear Sophie scream in the basement, and I know I need to get down there. I make it past the eyes, but when I get downstairs, I see a dark figure in front of my sister...
