Chapter 22

Indigo began to look downward, was her father really serious about this? Going to a job that has a high rate chance of death?

Indigo felt water in her eyes, but she didn't want to cry, as she wipes it from her eyes. She then knew that her father did do this for a good cause, "To help with the family." Indigo whispered to herself as she peeks out of the curtain. "Good, no one's here." she then said, and decides to lay against the... wall?
Indigo quickly turns around and stumbles backwards, hitting the curtains as she then slowly scans upward to see a familiar animatronic face. "F-Foxy." Indigo then covers her mouth and her eyes widened, she began to panic as she felt sweat rolling down her face. She then relaxed with a deep breath, as she then notices Foxy already was shut down. "Phew, for a second there I thou-" Indigo was then cut off by a voice in the Pizzeria. Indigo looked up at Foxy, then turns her head as she peeks through the slit from the curtain.

"So will you do the job?" A familiar voice, known as Frederick, asked another figure. "Just only for one night until we get things settled and wait until my other employee shows up and takes over."
Indigo saw the man nod, she then heard him speak, but it was so scratchy and harsh, that it nearly hurt her ears, "Yeah, I'll do it. Stupid animatronics, what's the big deal anyways? I heard stories of 'terrifyin' animatronics that would roam around this very place, killing people as they please." The man said in sarcasm as he laughed, "Boy! I heard that they'll come and rip out ya'll intestines!" The man then began to laugh hard, as he slaps his knee.
Indigo disliked his way of actions, she then clenches her hands into fists. "Now for sure, I wish that he was dead, then he'll see." Indigo whispered to herself as she still watched.

Frederick looked at the man, he didn't seem amused. "Alright then, you'll be here around 12 o'clock am. That's when the shift starts and you better be prepared."
The man looked at Frederick as if he was joking, "Alright, alright. I'll be there." And with that the man gets in his vehicle and then drives away. Feeling a little angered, Indigo switches her gaze upon Frederick, with a sigh and a shake of his head, Frederick walks towards the doorway. "He needs to understand, there's more to what than meets the eye." And with that, Frederick gets into his vehicle as he then also drives away, bringing up the fact that she was alone, or so she thought, for now.

The sun was slowly descending, the sky began to grow dark. And so was the clock as it began to turn, it finally turns to 12:00 a.m. And Indigo felt her eyes drop as she then felt sleepy. She then began to yawn, as she heard the door to the entrance open with a slight creak. There he was, the security guard. But Indigo, didn't bother of looking as she drifted off to sleep.
The nightguard began to stomp hard on the ground as he made his way towards his office in the back room. He then decides to walk around for a bit, but then walks into the kitchen, seeing a slice of greasy pizza, still untouched in the pizza box. With one lick of his lips, he takes the pizza and then looks up and tilts his head upward. "Now what?" The man said to himself with ignorance as he stomped his way to his office. He finally walks in, as he then hears the phone ringing on his desk. He rolls his eyes, and grunts as he pressed "Answer".
"Hello? What do you want?!" He exclaimed, as he sat down.
"H-Hello?" The voice responded, but was a little static. "Ummm what a-are you doing here? Should've you have been gone l-long ag-g-go?"

"I just got here." The man said, as he takes a final bite of his pizza, "Anyways what's your business? I don't have time for you!"
The voice on the other ignores his question, banging doors could be heard behind the voicemail.

"Ummmm... Uh, hey, listen, I may not be around to send you a message tomorrow. It's-It's been a bad night here for me. Um, I-I'm kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you, uh, when I did." The man clears his throat as he then continues on, "Uh, hey, do me a favor. Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room?" The voice of the man became more frightening as even louder banging noise was heard in the background, even the night guard himself looked a bit pale. He finally hears the voice once more, "I'm gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won't be so bad. Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there." The man suddenly stops himself as he hears music playing in the background, the banging of doors grew louder and louder, faster and faster. That's when everything stopped, except for the sound of thuds of footsteps. The man tilts his head in confusion, as he didn't here anything. He began to look around him, feeling a bit frightened. He then began to her a feint whisper on the receiver as he leans his head towards it. "You know," the voice said as deep moaning was heard, "oh no." Suddenly, a sound of a loud screech filled the area, the man flinches back, feeling startled, "That stupid manager! He knew about this!!" He said as he quickly closes both doors in the office. His body began to shake vigorously, as if an earthquake occurred under his feet, and under his feet only. His eyes widened, and his face grew red. "What the he** am I supposed to do?" He cursed, as he began to look out the window. Suddenly, with his heart still beating, he began to hear echoes and voices around the restaurant;

"F-Freddy," a voice sounding like a girl was heard. No response.
"S-Someone took my pizza, the last s-slice, it was going to be mine, but someone-" the echoed voice cuts itself off, as it began to get deeper, but closer.
Suddenly, something began to bang on the window, "Someone. Stole. It." The deeper voice said, as it's head began to twitch a little. "No one, steals Chica's Pizza!"

"Chica," another voice echoes a few minutes later. "What happened? Why are you crying?" Chica pointed towards the Security room window, as she then pointed directly at that man, "T-That Security Guard! He. Ate. My. Pizza." Chica said as she wiped away her tears. "And. He. Will. Payyyyy."
The man shakily pulls out his wallet, grabbing several bills. "Here, I say! Here! Here's some change, but you can go and make another pizza can't you?!" The man exclaims in question, as he felt is back against the wall. The sound of a body slam was heard at the left side of the room. "WE'RE ANIMATRONICS YOU PATHETIC IDIOT, WE CAN'T COOK!" The same voice from early yells as it began using it's fist to break down the door.

Towards the entrance of the room, Indigo began to look up at Foxy and fear, but now, she was terrified, as she backs herself up against the wall, but this time, Foxy moved. But this time, his glowing yellow eye faced her. And she faces him back, never taking an eye off of him. They both were quiet and still, they were both speechless and didn't know what to say.
Foxy flattened his ears, as he then looked away. Indigo, didn't do anything except for sitting there helplessly. Foxy was about to say something, as he slowly opens his jaw, but nothing could come out, as he decided to close it shut. He began to look around, and tried to show no attention of any hurt to Indigo, but she already looked terrified and frozen in place.

"I-Indigo." Foxy said to her in a bit of a whisper with a scratchy tone. "It's me, Foxy." He tried to say, as he took a step back, "I-I have no intention, t-t-to hurt you."
Indigo only stood there and watched him, as she then felt water in her eyes, and one of them began to trickle down her face. Foxy slowly looked up at her, as his eyes widened, but then looks away, "I-I know, I'm a monster." He said to her, as his voice began to slowly fade. "And I've always have been and always will be, I'm sorry."
Indigo looked up at Foxy, as she began to feel calm, she then takes a deep breath and gulps, "F-Foxy," she also said in a calm tone, but was a little terrified. Indigo began to think of what else to say, as her mind ran through thoughts.

"I-I know, don't worry. It's unusual for someone like you, to... talk to me like this." Foxy said to her a little embarrassed. His ears finally began to twitch as he then heard someone calls his name, "Freddy." Foxy mumbled to himself. "Freddy? You mean-"
"Yes Freddy Fazbear himself." Foxy hissed a little, as he poked his head out of the curtain a little, "J-Just stay here. And don't. Make. A. Sound." Foxy said to her as quickly rushes out, and runs down the hallway.

Indigo did as she was told, and didn't know whether or not, to listen to him, even though she knew that something else was going on. She nods to herself, as her eyes widened even more, and began to hear footsteps coming her way, big heavy footsteps, unlike the lightly shuffled feet that belonged to Foxy. She then began to hug her knees and pull them to her chest, as her heart, began to beat uncontrollably. She shuts her eyes closes, 'Please don't come in, please don't come in.' Indigo kept thinking to herself as she tried to calm herself. She then closes her eyes tightly, and brings her head downward and tucks it in between her legs, as the sound of the same exact footsteps occurred, but it only grew louder and more heavier.
Then, everything was quiet. Except for a rather large head poking in through the curtain, with it's eyes dark as night except for its pupil, which was a small white dot.
"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
