Chapter 19

It was finally 6 a.m in the morning, as Indigo's eyes began to flutter open, but slowly...

As she tried to sit up, Indigo at first felt dizzy as she finally felt a pain surge through her head. I've must've Blacked out. She thought to herself as she slowly began to stand up. At first, Indigo once again felt unbalanced, and nearly feel on her face. As Indigo felt a little normal, she began to walk, well more like limp to the nearest table. She then sat herself in a chair, as she breathed hard in and out. Indigo looks around herself, front, behind, and to both sides. Everything seemed normal. What happened exactly. Indigo thought to herself as she stood up and started to wander around the restaurant. She then glances in every single room there was, but didn't bother looking in the basement.

But there was nothing different...

Indigo was then confused for a moment as she began to sit down on the Freddy Fazbear's Stage. She looks up, as she deeply stares at the three animatronics that were towering over her, but their eyes glued straight toward the opposite wall. That then gave her a frightening feeling, This doesn't seem right. Indigo then thought to herself as she followed Freddy's eyes toward a purple curtain. Indigo gulped. She was almost already terrified, a moment then was flashed in Indigo's mind as she remembered last night... before fainting. A shiver runs down her spine as she slowly walks towards the curtain. With one reach from her hand, Indigo pulls open the curtain as she quickly jumps back, to keep space between her and Foxy. Nothing happened. But, there was Foxy the Pirate, he looked shut down, and he still had the patch that Indigo sowed on. That's when Indigo finally exhaled, relaxing the deep thoughts she had about fear and making them go away.

Suddenly, Indigo hears a car pull up in the parking lot. With a quick gasp, Indigo rushes to get her dropped backpack that she held, as she sprints towards the East Side door. And then she disappears into the lightened alley. Hoping to make it to home just in time, before her parents would wake up. Something is going on than what is expected at Freddy Fazbear's. Indigo thought to herself. In which this will explain about what happened about the death of Mike and my nightmare... Indigo's eyes began to glare in anger. And I'll be the first to find out.

As Indigo sprinted quickly to her house unseen, she then slowly opens the back door, Hmmm. She thought to herself. I would expect one of my parents to be awake around this time. As Indigo shrugged, she finally carefully walks up the stairs, taking each step with precaution, it was dark in the downstairs part of her house with a little sunlight from the windows, in which she had a hard time walking. But at the same time, every time Indigo made a step, a creak sound will always occur. Shhhh! Indigo told herself as she shook her head back and forth, Man I'm horrible at this... very bad. As Indigo reaches up to the top of her staircase, she makes her way toward her room, as she shuts her door (trying not to make it creak), and finally closes the door and locking it.

It was an hour later from Indigo visiting Freddy Fazbear's, when Indigo felt a sharp pain on the side of her head.

Indigo cursed.

She then pressed her hand on her forehead. I think that I'm gonna hurl. Indigo thought to herself as she collapsed onto her bed. Argh!! Suddenly a bright light shines at Indigo's eyes began to twitch, as she turns her head towards the source. She then sighs in agony, as she got up off of her bed and walked slowly towards her window...
A loud bang then was heard outside of her window, Indigo jumped back quickly as she was startled and her eyes widened. Indigo then laughed to herself. How ridiculous! She thought to herself as she spotted a blue jay banging its beak on her window, in which quickly flew away with fright, knowing Indigo's existence. Something then caught Indigo's eyes as she peered down toward the side of her house. Oh... Indigo sighed. As she quietly jogged down the stairs and made it towards the front door. As she slowly, but surely opens it, she finds Tommy once again at her door. "Is this another message for my father?" She asked as she walks out of the house, closing the door behind her, with her hand holding the knob. Tommy shrugs, "No. No not really... I just wanted to come by, that's all..." Indigo however didn't seem convinced. "Well, my parents are still sleeping. So if I were you, I wouldn't bother them at the moment." Tommy nods in agreement as he puts his hands in his front pockets of his dark blue worn-out jeans that had a couple of holes on his knee and below it. "Well, then I suppose your right Indigo... Well, see ya Indigo." And with that Tommy turned the opposite direction as he continued to walk out of Indigo's yard and turned left. I feel as though he's hiding something. Indigo thought to herself as she begins to turn the knob counter-clockwise. But I just can't get a thought on it. And with that, Indigo rushed to catch up with Tommy shouting, "W-Wait!!! Tommy wait!!!" With a sudden jolt, Tommy turned around astonished a little. "Yeah? Is there anything wrong??" Indigo shook her head and smiled a little. "I'm fine. It's just that..." Indigo pauses as she tried to figure out what to say... "That... I'm bored at my house and want to spend time with you." Indigo partially lied as she took a tiny step backwards. "Well, I'm not doing anything either. Just walking around the neighborhood, that's all." With a shiver going down her spine, Indigo takes a couple of deep breathes as she asked Tommy, "Can I join you??" A smile then hit Tommy's face as his face lit up a little. But was calm at the same time. "Ummm... Yeah sure I don't care." Indigo jumped up for joy as she finally caught up with Tommy, as she smiled at him, he smiled back. But there was the thought from earlier that had Indigo questioned herself. What IS Tommy hiding exactly?

It was a few minutes later when Indigo and Tommy were still walking. "So ummm... Exactly where are we going?" She asked as she turned her head towards him. No answer. "Hey! Hello?!" He jumped a little as he turned his head towards her. "Oh sorry... Ummm I was staring out into space. W-What do you said." Indigo then grunted as she faced forward. "I asked where are we going?" "Oh... I have no clue." "Wait what?! Indigo exclaimed as the stopped walking. "What do you mean 'I have no clue'?!" Tommy then stops as he turns around and faces Indigo, as he shrugged. "I just have no clue, it doesn't really matter to me or my parents where I go..." He then turns his head and his body the opposite direction as he kept on walking. "You can just go back home if you want to. I bet that your parents would be worried." Indigo's mouth dropped a little. "And don't drop your jaw. It's very impolite of you." Now that's when Indigo's anger began to grow. "TOMMY!!" Indigo screamed to the top of her lungs, he then stopped walking, but stood still. Tommy then brings his head down in ignorance.

"What do you want Indigo." What's happening? Indigo thought to herself with worry. As she took a couple of steps towards Tommy.

*Play*

"W-What's going on Tommy??" She asked patiently as she brought her hands behind her back. "Is there something wrong?"

Tommy eyes then went straight down, so did his head. He then sighed. "No Indigo. I'm fine." "It doesn't seem like that." "Indigo! It's nothing! I'm completely fine and normal! J-Just leave me alone!" Indigo then grew furious, she wasn't ready to loose to this battle. "I'm not buying it Tommy. I can tell... I can see it through your expressions." "How do you my expressions and feelings?! Like I said, just leave me alone! Go home Indigo! Go home! Now!" Indigo then gasped as she took a step back. But her eyes glared straight at him. And was in a stance as if a predator was about to catch its prey. "No!" She exclaimed. "I ain't leavin' if you don't tell me what's going on!"

Thunder was then heard up above, as a flash of lightning was seen to the south. And drops of rain began to fall down from the sky. Getting both Indigo and Tommy wet. "Fine." Indigo finally said. "You win... I'll stop for good..." And with that. Indigo turned back toward where she came from, and walked straight home. Her hands were then balled into fists.

With the look of astonishment on his face, he someone moved and walked behind Indigo, as well as trying to catch up with her. His teeth began to show in anger, as he paced quicker. Argh Indigo! He thought to himself as he continued to walk forward. For some reason just... Argh! Damn you!

As Indigo listened to her friends' footsteps march forward, she then quickly stopped as she swung her hand, making her body turned around, and with that...
She slapped Tommy hard in the face. And didn't miss. Anger began to rise within her, as later she grew and grew unlike herself.

Nothing happened.

Suddenly rain began to pour down on her and Tommy. Indigo then slowly looked up, wanting to face Tommy with anger. But what she didn't know is the look in his eyes, as Indigo noticed something deep inside of her, that made her thoughts and feelings turn back to normal. W-What happened? Indigo thought to herself and quickly brought her hand off of him, holding it tight to her own. Oh no...
Indigo then quickly turns around, as if nothing happened. Until something grabbed her hand and tugged it. Suddenly, Indigo stumbled as she was pulled back hard. Until she landed with her back against Tommy. Indigo didn't dare to move. She then closed her eyes in fright, several of tears ran down her face. Crap! What have I done?! Now he's gonna kill me!

It was several minutes later and Indigo was still pinned hard against Tommy, she then tried to struggle free, but it was no use, Tommy had her close. "I'm sorry, I didn't know what went through me..." She whispered so that herself and Tommy could only hear. "I should've..." "No." Tommy finally said in a stern voice. At first, Indigo jumped a little in Tommy's voice, as then she heard sniffs from him. Is Tommy crying? Indigo thought to herself as she wanted to continue. "So... Tell me Tommy... Why are you acting this way?" Nothing. But she felt arms around her, and knew that Tommy was hugging her. Indigo somewhat didn't seem that surprised. "Tommy." She then said once more. "Why... What's going on... Please tell me... Look I'm sorry that I slapped you, but it's the fact that it's not fair of you... To tell me what's going on... Isn't this what friendship is for?... Relying on friends to help in any need, to not lie to each other, to..." Indigo paused for a moment. And to love them with your whole and protect them through their lives. Indigo then began to sob, "But you choose the opposite of friendship Tommy!" Indigo was then free of Tommy's grip, she then staggered forward a little, as she turns around. "If this is gonna happen... Then our friendship is over!!... If not, then let this friendship continue!!"

Indigo then began to sob, her hands became clutches of fists, and raises them, as if she was ready to punch him. "But instead... Argh!!" "Indigo... Indigo please stop..." Tommy finally said as he began to look up and face her. "Stop this madness please... Look..." He then pauses as he tries to murmur another word, but it didn't seem to come out. Indigo stood quiet, she was done, she had no other words, she also thought that it was enough to say. Indigo then turns around and walks straight home, not looking behind her. "Indigo." Tommy said a little louder. "Indigo stop pushing me away!" "Well you're the one who started!" Indigo growled low in her throat. "And I've tried to help and fight, but nothing seemed to bypass you. "So I might as well, give up and do the same!"

Tommy then also growled low in his throat. "Fine!" He shouted, but quickly got down to normal volume. "I'll tell you." Indigo then stopped as she was a few feet away, from Tommy, and turns around. "You... You just." Tommy tried to say, but grew frustrated. "Here! You just look like my brother! The brother that died at '87!"

Indigo paused. "The brother and how he died?! So you want me to..." "No!" Tommy was then out of his rage as he also began to sob. "Before all of this nightmare! He was sweet, kind, and protective towards others, especially me! He would never hurt anyone, but only if it was necessary!" Tommy then stopped as he sniffed several times before speaking. "Every time Indigo! Every time I see you! You make my life so much easier! Like 'Today for sure I know that it's gonna be a great day, I know it!' That's why everyday I feel down, until I see you! And when I see, it's like my brother's soul is in you!! Sometimes I wonder if he could see me through your eyes!!" Tommy then began to sob quietly, as he covered his face with his hand, as if he didn't want anyone seeing this.

Indigo looked up at him, trying to figure out how to comfort her friend. "I bet that your brother would be happy about you, Tommy." Tommy looks up with astonishment. "Do-Do you think so, Indigo?" Indigo nodded her head slowly, as drops of rain landed on her head and ran down her face as if she was crying. "I promise he would." Tommy wiped his tears away, but what replaced them was the rain drops. "Thanks Indigo." He calmly said as he smiled. Indigo began to blush a little, her body began to get goosebumps and she wraps her arms around herself. "Let's go somewhere we can't get even more drenched in the Thunderstorm." Indigo nodded in agreement and smiled shyly. "That sounds like a great idea." Tommy then grabs Indigo's handed as they both ran while using their arms to cover themselves. As they ran towards a nearest tree, which was at the park.

"Hey Tommy?" Indigo asked as she blushed a little, when they finally made it to the tree. "Yeah, what's up?" Tommy answered as he leaned himself against the bark of the tree. "I'm sorry for slapping you like that. I didn't-" "It's cool." Tommy interrupted, as he shrugged. "I usually get slapped by other girls anyway." Indigo rolled her eyes as the comment. "How many?" She played along. "Quite a few." Tommy laughed, so did Indigo. It then got quite once more.

*Play the song again*

"Man, I wonder when the rain would stop." Tommy thought to himself as he looked up at Indigo. "Don't you think?" Indigo nodded her head. "Yeah, if it keeps on going like this, no wonder what wil happen." "You may never know." Tommy laughed a little. Indigo smiled at the comment, she loved Tommy's sense of humor, it always made her laugh, making herself feel better. Indigo then thought for a moment when she began to blush once more. But this, one Tommy looked and noticed it. "Are you okay Indigo? What's on your mind?" Indigo jumped as she looked and faced Tommy. "Oh nothing really. It's just-" "My brother, huh." "You read my mind." "Have I always." Indigo laughed a little. As she walked towards him a little. "Hey Tommy?" "Yeah what's up Indigo?" Indigo paused for a moment, as she took a deep breath.

"You said that you can see me as your brother, as if he looked at you through my own eyes right?" "Yeah, it's true. Sorry for being that way towards you." Tommy rubbed his head. Indigo shook her head, telling him that it was no big deal.

"Do you think..." Indigo paused for a moment. "Do you think he would've done this?" And without hesitating, she kissed Tommy on the lips. And wrapped her arms around him, standing on her toes. She closed her eyes, as her blushes became bright as red as a red roses from Alice in Wonderland. Tommy's eyes widened. As he even began to blush at Indigo and the feeling.

Indigo then pulled herself away, as she became bright really bright red. She felt really different then, she looked up at Tommy, in which looked at her the same expression. Indigo began to move back. "I'm so, so sorry Tommy. I didn't mean to. I just thought that, that would make you feel better and everything! I promise you that-" "Calm down Indigo." Tommy said as he grabbed and held her hand, he pulled her closer to him, as he kissed her back.

Indigo once again began to blush, and so did Tommy. And they both closed their eyes, as if they accepted each other. However, a tear began to roll down her eye. Tommy let go of Indigo's hand and wiped it away. He then grabbed her on the back, and once again held her close to him, as if he was protecting her, and laid her head against his chest. Indigo could hear his heartbeat, it was beating very soothingly.

"Thank you." He finally told her as he looked up and scanned the area. "Thank you for making my nightmares wash away and make them into dreams." With her eyes still closed, Indigo smiled. "Anytime." She responded as she started to cry. But not a sad cry, but a happy one.

I love you Tommy.
