Chapter 17

There was a knock at the door, at 6:00 p.m in the evening, while it was pouring down rain. Indigo jolts up and jogs towards the door. She first straightened herself up before she turn the doorknob, and opens the door.

It was Tommy, laying on the pole right at her porch steps. He was wearing sneakers, dark blue jeans, a black hoodie, with headphones around his neck in which was hooked up to his phone in his front pocket. He laughs jokingly a little before saying, "Ha! It took you a while to answer the door Indigo." "Oh, Tommy!!... Ummm... What a surprise!! Ummm... What are you doing here, this evening?!" Indigo smiled, but felt calm. Tommy then smirks at her, "Well I have a message to give to your father Indigo. Ummm is he here?" Indigo shakes her head. "No, both of my parents went out to eat, somewhere. They'll be back around 10 or something. Ummm... Do you want to tell me the message so I can deliver it to my father?" Tommy's smiles fades and shakes his head. "No, that's alright. But thank you for helping." "No problem, I understand." Indigo replies with a short bow.

It was silent for a while, both Indigo and Tommy were staring at each other eye to eye. Not muttering a word. Indigo however could hear a tiny bit of Tommy's music. But she couldn't point out the words. Finally, it was when Tommy spoke first, "Ummm, I should probably go then. I'll try tomorrow I guess." And with that, Tommy pulls up his headphones up to his ears, he turns the volume a little bit higher, as he begins to walk in the rain. "W-W-Wait Tommy!" Indigo shouts loudly to Tommy as he quickly turns around in shock. "Yeah?" He yells back pulling one headphone out from his head. "Here come inside. I don't think that you should walk and be drenched in the rain." Indigo advises as she opens the door wider to invite Tommy. Without pausing for a second, Tommy lets go of his headphone, in which slammed into his head, and rushed towards inside Indigo's house.

With a few seconds remaining, Tommy finally situates himself in the living room on the couch. "If you want anything, there are some food and drink in the kitchen." Indigo says as she walks foreword toward Tommy. "There's also Television if you like to watch some. The remote is on the coffee table right there." Indigo then points in that direction, Tommy then nods. "Thanks Indigo." "No problem, you can head your way when the storm clears. I just a don't want you getting cold and wet out there." Indigo then smiles, as she turns around towards the hallway leading upstairs. "Well, make yourself feel comfortable, and if you need me... I-I'll be in my room upstairs." Indigo points up, and with that, she walks quickly up the stairs into her room and shut the door.

It was around 6:45 p.m when Indigo became exhausted once more as she collapsed on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She then sighs, as she turns over to her side as she looks towards the window and squints a little. Man, it sure is raining pretty hard today. Indigo thought to herself as she walks towards the window and sits down on the wooden part crossing her arms and legs forward, laying herself on the cold foggy window. As she exhales, a puff of clouds came from her mouth and landed on the window, making it even more foggier. She then sighs once more, and holds herself tighter, one for the cold, and two for preventing her to cry. Indigo then started picturing Tommy, her parents, and even herself on the window, from her dream. She the blinks and closes her eyes shut as a tear ran down her eye. Why does Freddy Fazbear's have to do with anything with me? What have I done to deserve this? What do I need to do... to fix it? I want answers! I don't want to wait any longer! Indigo screamed inside her head as tears then began to run down her face and she began to sniffing. I never wanted this type of life... I... I... Indigo holds herself even tighter, I wish that this nightmare would go away! And with that, Indigo began to sob, but quietly. Suddenly, footsteps were walking up the stairs, as Indigo froze in her place. The footsteps then stopped as it opened her door. It was Tommy, he felt calm as usual, especially when he was listening to his music. But as he spotted her crying, his eyes then widened, as he dropped his headphones and phone. He then takes a couple of steps forward. Crap! I didn't want him to see me like this! Crap! Indigo yells in her mind. It's too late anyway. Indigo then decided to give up as she turns her head around, to show Tommy that she had tears and more tears falling down her head. He then took a couple of more steps toward her, but said nothing. "What." Indigo mumbles as she sniffs, and wipes her tears away. But it was no use, because even more and more tears began to fall. Tommy then takes another step forward, without saying a word. "Gosh dang it Tommy!! What?! What do you want?!" I screamed to the top of my lungs, as I buried my face into my hands. Finally, I stood up and looked at Tommy straight in the eye, even though I couldn't see him correctly because the wetness of my eyes started clouding my eyesight. "What is it?! Tell me!! Say something!" I screamed once more.
Nothing. There stood Tommy still and silent. And Indigo was still crying as she wipes it away.

It was just one second later, Tommy began to fall down towards her. Indigo gasps, but then is shocked of how Tommy reacts. Instead of falling to the ground on his knees, he caught himself and wrapped his arms around Indigo, laying his head on her shoulders, and Indigo did the same. But Indigo froze, but her tears that were left on her face kept falling, but she then felt a tear falling down Tommy's. She could then hear him sniffing and crying as he began to get heavy on her, but Indigo stood her ground. "I'm sorry..." Tommy then whispers in my ear, as Indigo feels another tear running down his eye onto her shirt. "I didn't mean to..." "Didn't mean to what?" Indigo asked impatiently. There was no answer.

Indigo then pushes Tommy away from her. And her tears somehow were dried off and weren't falling either, no more. But, as she looks slowly up at Tommy, she saw him crying hard. "It's fine anyway... I guess..." He then says as he turns to leave the bedroom. He then grabs the headphones off of Indigo's bed with his phone. Without hesitation, Indigo rushes and grabs his arm, and held a grip on it, to make Tommy halt. "What Indigo." Tommy mumbles loudly. "You've already pushed me away." Indigo then was shocked of anger. Pushed him away? She thought to herself as she then lets go. "Why would I anyway?" Tommy then turns towards her, several tears were still falling, but he felt a little mad. "You... Y-you..." Another tear falls. "I'm what?... Tommy, I know and you know it too. I would never push you or anyone away. I swear on that." Indigo looks down. "But... if I were to..." Indigo looks at Tommy straight in the eye, glaring. "It's not because of anything they've done or said,..." A tear rolls down Indigo's face once more, she then makes her hands into fists. "but because I can't bear to let them see me this broken." Tommy's eyes widened for a moment. "I can't, I just can't! All I really want is someone to tell me that it's okay! That this nightmare will end forever! It's also facing the fact that certain things cause us pain, and in which, causes other people pain, suffering, and hurt!" Indigo began to breathe hard, but she was too angry to get back to normal. But Tommy still was the same exact way he was a few seconds ago. Still, he never uttered a word. His and Indigo's tears though both faded. It was then silent, as the sun began to descend.

Indigo couldn't take it anymore, "Tommy?" she asks softly, trying not raise her voice. "Yeah." he replies trying to not raise his voice as well. "Look, I'm... I'm sorry for this whole entire thing... I didn't mean to treat you like this... I didn't mean to push you aw..." "You didn't," Tommy interrupts Indigo. "It was my fault anyway from the beginning. I should've came into your room like that. Like I've been secretive to you... Look, what I meant to say when you were crying, that you looked like my brother. And flashbacks began to flash everywhere, making me flinch and cry." Tommy then looks down, "And I didn't mean to make you angry like that... I was...Argh!" He then clenches his hands into fists. "I was just terrified, to tell you Indigo. I really didn't want to bring the memory back of the death of my brother. Every time it does... I always get emotional, and... ..." Tommy then pauses for a moment and turns to look up and out the window. "I just want somebody to tell me that it's gonna be okay." He then turns to Indigo. "But I understand, I shouldn't let other people feel the way I'm feeling right now. It could put them at risk and danger. Thank you. I should be leaving now." And with that Tommy turns back around, and he puts back his headphones on, and walks out of the bedroom. "See you around Indigo." His final words said as Tommy walks downstairs down to the front door, and out of the house.

Indigo stood still, as if she couldn't move at all. She was once again shocked, of what Tommy's feelings about her and his brother were brought upon, that spreads, as if it was some sort of disease or plague. Indigo then turns towards her window and sits there for a moment or two, thinking about the words that her best friend said, over and over.

(-flashback to six hours later-)

A hum was heard throughout Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It was peacful, elegant, and soothing. Especially to Foxy, as he continually sang it over and over again. "Would you just please shut up!" Bonnie yelled on the top of his lungs, "We like, already heard that thousands of times!" "Bonnie!" Freddy exclaims over Bonnie. "Stop it! Stop it for once in your freaking animatronic life! Let Foxy do his business and you do yours, okay?!" "Okay! Okay! Yeesh! Talk about animatronic bossy pants!" Bonnie mocks as he began laughing a little, but stopped quickly as Freddy growled and his eyes turned black with white pupils. Bonnie then trembles, "Oh, ummmm. I think that I have a bad tune in my guitar. Ummmmm... Lemme fix that real quickly. I'll be leaving now." And like he said, Bonnie left in a hurry. "Freddy you should probably go easy on Bonnie. I know that he sometimes makes rude comments. But just give him a chance." a female voice says behind Freddy. "I know Chica, but the bunny has to learn if he wants to be part of this." "True." Chica replies with a nod as she walks towards Pirate Cove, where Foxy still was humming the same song. "Hey Foxy! Where did you learn THAT song? Was it from a girl?" Chica says as she began to giggle and have the 'Who's your crush' face. "I don't really know, really. All I know is that as soon as I was awake yesterday, that song literally popped into my head, and I started getting the hang of it. But seriously, I have no clue who is it. Hmmmm I wander as well." Chica questions as she rubs her head. "What's going on?" Freddy asks as he joins Chica and Foxy. "We're trying to find the thing that made Foxy know and hum this song to. He says that it started yesterday, as soon as he was awaken." Freddy's eyes then widened. "Foxy? Are you sure that it was a special girl??!!" Freddy pitches in as he began to laugh. "No! I swear that it wasn't! I have no clue who did it!" "Oh! Oh! I think I know who it might've been!" Chica exclaims while she jumps in the air of excitement. "Who?! Who mate?!" Foxy asked impatiently. "Well I don't who exactly, but what if it's the person who fixed you Foxy?! Like think about it for a second. It happened at the same night didn't it Foxy?!" "Yeah!" Foxy cheers "You're right!! That did happen yesterday night! But who exactly..." "Beats me!" Freddy then says as he turns around. "I'm gonna get the night guard, while you two... Ummmm figure it out or something. Hey Bonnie come help me here!" "I'm here! Let's do this!" Freddy nods his head as he went into the right and Bonnie into the left hallways. Chica then rolls her eyes, I'm gonna make myself some pizza, I'm kinda starving. See you around Foxy!" And off left Chica. This is strange, Chica does have a good point. Foxy thought, whoever fixed me must've sang the song that keeps it in my head... I wonder who it is though... If it's animatronic, I'll do fine... But if it's human... Foxy then pauses for a moment. I guess I'll have to kill it.
