Chapter 12
Indigo disliked the situation, and kept on arguing with her father about, it. She knew what was going to happen already,... death. Indigo then begged her father not to go. But her father refused and said that the "deal was already done", he also talked about the money, the money for Indigo's school, money for the house, and etc. But Indigo didn't give up, not one second, she was scared, very scared.
It was a few minutes later, since Indigo already gave up. Then she pulled her hands up to her face. There were tears that rolled down her face. She was crying, but also mad, very mad. Finally, the whimpering stopped, but the crying didn't, no, not the crying yet. Indigo looks up at her father, her face being shown with anger and covered in tears, as she yelled at him saying, "Why did you sign up?! You know!... You know what will happen to you! You already know!" "I do already..." Indigo's father says in a calm voice. "No! No you don't!" Indigo interrupted. "Indigo, yes, I do..." "Then why even sign up! You know what the outcome is anyway! Is this your death wish?!" And with that, Indigo quickly rushed out the door. "Indigo!" both Indigo's parents yelled, but Indigo ignored them and kept on running.
Indigo then kept on running and running, and running. Never looking back. Finally, she stopped and took a breather, when she spotted, at the corner of her eye,... Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. As Indigo stood up, she glared at that place. Without hesitation, she ran in the entrance. Then she stopped and scanned the whole entire restaurant, there were children, children everywhere. I can't believe that there are still that many kids here, when that death incident happened. Then Indigo shook her head, Well, I can't sight see for long. I have to go. And with that, Indigo ran toward the main office, trying to get past the kids, in which she tried to not hurt them or push them out of the way.
Finally, Indigo made it to the main office. Why, Frederick? Why? As Indigo opened the door, there was Frederick, doing his business. As Indigo walked in, she purposely stomped on the ground to get Frederick's attention. Surprisingly, it did catch Frederick's attention as he looked up. "Well, hello, Indigo, nice to..." "Why Frederick.?" Indigo interrupted as she slammed her fists on his desk. "Why what?" "Why did you let my father apply for the job?" Indigo's face then grew angrier and angrier. "Oh, that's what's all about." Frederick then smiled. "I'm really sorry Indigo." "Then why did you... why did you not persuade him to do so." Indigo then could feel her heart pounding harder and harder... then finally, Indigo snapped. "Why didn't you not tell him not to apply for that job?! You know what the outcome will be! You know! It already happened once! Why let it happen again?!" Indigo then continued to breathe hard, as she was about done talking. She could see Frederick's eyes shown in surprisement. Taking it easy, Frederick clears his throat before he spoke, then sighed. Indigo then was waiting, impatiently. "I'm sorry Indigo, I really am. Seriously. I could even tell it for myself." "Wait, what do you mean, 'for myself'?" Indigo asked as her nerves began to calm down. "The decision, I didn't want this to happen..." Frederick again sighed as he spoke once more, "It was about two weeks ago, Indigo. It was when I got a phone call, and as always I answered it saying. 'Hello, this is Frederick Johnson, manager and head security guard of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The magical place for kids and parents alike, where fantasy and fun come to life.' As I said my introduction, there was Harold's voice. But was more serious, than he's used to. 'What's going on Harold?' 'I would like to submit to a new job.' 'Why? It seems as though you are doing really well with your job.' 'It doesn't matter, I... I just want to take a step further, that's all.' At first, I really concerned about Harold, excuse me, your father. So I asked about what he wanted and such and such. 'I want to be a security guard,... taking night shifts.' Now I was astonished at his answer. As I gasped, I answered, 'You can't Harold! Have you learned about a month ago, about this?! I just can't let you do this!'" As Indigo began to calm down, her eyes were shown of fear. "I... I try to tell him, Indigo. To not do this job, but he said that he wanted to. Then, I told him, to wait for a couple weeks, until then he has his answer... And the answer was..." "Yes..." Indigo interrupted as she slowly looked down to the floor. "Yes, he wanted to do it." Finally, Indigo looked up once more. "I'm sorry for yelling at you, Frederick. Do as you asked, and I will do it." "No, no, no, Indigo. I know that you didn't mean to. I knew that you were sad and upset. I accept your apology." Without hesitation, Indigo then ran over to Frederick and gave him a hug, crying. Frederick then looked at her, his face full of astonishment, then he returned the hug.
It was a few minutes later, when they broke apart and Indigo then walked out of the office, slowly dragging her feet. As she made it out, she started to see families with their child(ren) walking out toward the restaurant. It must be almost time,... time that the restaurant will be closing. Indigo then smiled. As she then walked out towards the doors, the doors to the entrance of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. But then she stopped, but still faced towards those doors. Somehow, she didn't feel like going back home, she felt that this was her home, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It was about the happiness and the enjoyment of this place, but at the same time, Indigo then wondered, she wondered the fact why that this kept her from going home. Suddenly, she heard kids cry and whine. It came from the children, screaming, "Let me go! Let me go, Mama! I wanna... I wanna stay here!" Then out the door they went. Then Indigo froze, with her eyes full of astonishment. She didn't move a single bit. Suddenly, there was a hand that grabbed her on the shoulder, she then jumped, but thankfully, it was just Fredrick Johnson. Finally, then Indigo felt calm, "You scared me Frederick." "Sorry, you seemed as though you stood their, like someone just took your soul out or something. " Fredrick then laughed. But somehow Indigo didn't laugh with him. When Frederick saw Indigo he then stopped laughing. "Ah, Indigo, at least you take a joke..." Indigo was then silent. "I'm sorry, I really am, I also wish that he didn't make that decision. But think positive, I'm sure that it would be fine." "Are you sure? I've... I've heard that no one made it, by being the night security guard." Indigo then looked up at Frederick. She really wanted to make sure that Frederick was right, not wrong. "To tell you the truth, I really don't know."
Indigo then wasn't impressed as she looked down and then slowly started to walk forward toward the entrance, crying a little. But Frederick was quick to follow, "But, that's when you have to rely on God, for that..." Frederick then took his hand on Indigo's shoulder, "Here, lemme take you home Indigo." Without answering, Indigo then walks forward with Frederick. As they stood out of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Frederick had to lock the door. While he was doing that, Indigo then stared up at the building. As she looked up, she then somehow smiled, it was true, she loved that place, but there was also home, her parents waiting for her arrival. Indigo also felt much better, as if she even forgot about what just happened. Suddenly, Indigo's head hurt once more, and there came the nightmare. Holding her head, she shakes her head, trying to get it away. There was a honking noise behind her, as she turned, Frederick waved at her. "Are you okay?" Indigo nods as she waved back. "Well, are you coming or not?" Indigo then laughed as she quickly ran toward Fredrick's vehicle. But's that when you have to rely on God. Those words ran through her head and her mind as she was being driven towards her house. You're right, Fredrick, there are some things that I, for one can't handle. That's when I rely on God. Then Indigo looked up at the dazzling evening sunset on the horizon. Alright then, God, now I put this in your hands. I can't do this without you...
