chapter 3 : Even in death

Monty drives at full speed on the rather quiet road, grunting. Of course, damn Bonnie had to screw everyone up. Monty thought almost all the way to turn around: it's good for the one who stole his daughter and also a little fame, being both bass players but Bonnie having more success, and also for the one with whom he argues and suspects that he has always had feelings towards Bonnie. But he thought of his daughter who would be sad if something bad happened to the other two service noodles, so he forced himself to go and help them, for her, his Diana. He smiles thinking about the choice of name, which refers to that of the British princess loved by his people. But then his mind returns to the traitors who called him and his rage returns with a vengeance.

His hands grip the steering wheel of the car tightly and the angry driver's gaze stares ahead with determination.

He arrives at the park where the other two men are and begins to walk forward and sees the other two in front, holding each other affectionately. Monty starts to get angry before feeling something sharp stick into his stomach. He spits blood then looks down and sees a dagger.

Then, before he can scream, a fluffy hand covers his mouth. He turns his head with the last strength he has left and sees a white rabbit with red eyes looking at him with a big smile.

The wound eventually becomes stronger than Monty and he collapses to the ground, dead.

Bonnie and Freddy are in front of the tree where the two men met for the first time. Freddy cries and then throws himself into Bonnie's arms and cries some more. Bonnie rubs his back in support.

- You know what hurts the most is that, because of the arguments, I am almost not there for my Superstar even though I love her and want to be with her. I wanted to have her so much, I hoped and now that she's here, I'm making her suffer because of our arguments with Monty. When I see his adorable little eyes wet with tears looking at me with sadness and pain while holding his fazbear, I can only think of how much I am hurting him and that makes me suffer a lot. And I feel, or rather I know, that I have failed and that I have destroyed her life when it has just begun. I'm a horrible father.

Freddy cries harder than ever while clutching Bonnie's chest, the latter looking at him with pain and regret.

- Don't say that Freddy, you are the best father anyone could hope for. And then you fight for her, it's a great proof of love, you do everything possible and I'm proud of that. It's not your fault, believe me. And she takes an example from you, she fights for her happiness and that of others, like you...

Freddy and Bonnie look at each other before Freddy turns his head away blushing and Bonnie laughs. When Freddy turned around, the look in Bonnie's eyes was different and he looked determined.

- You want to know something. I'm the idiot in the story.

Freddy looks at him in confusion

- Why, you didn't do anything wrong Bonnie?

- I waited all these years and these miseries to find the courage necessary to be able to tell you how much I love you and that I regret not having told you on the day of the graduation ball.

Freddy's eyes widen in surprise, he didn't expect Bonnie to feel the same way about him. He took Bonnie in his arms, cuddling affectionately with all the love they have. And then, the two men lean in and kiss.

After a minute, they separate and look at each other, smiling. But Bonnie's, then Freddy's, disappeared when they saw the rabbit with blood again, and Bonnie saw Monty's body behind it.

He turns to Freddy, and, talking about it, mutually accepts their fate, knowing that they are going to die, and hopes for happiness for their poor daughter.

They lean in and kiss one last time, their souls and bodies united together, their love merging, their hearts beating and tears falling one last time. Bonnie smiles a little, they won't be separated anymore.

And then the blood flowing, the life disappearing from them but their souls still embracing, united one last time, just like their now lifeless bodies in the very park where they first united years ago.

Time passes. Diana curled up in her bed again. She had heard her biological father accuse his best friend of taking her from him, and that hurt the young girl. She didn't want to create more of an argument. She loves Bonnie like her father and seeing him hurt hurts her too. And later, she heard her father (Monty) rushing off, angry and panicking.

It has now been several hours since they left. And worries. She wanted to see Daddy Bonnie as soon as possible. The look he had towards Monty. She doesn't really like her biological father because he only hurts her two other fathers.

The sun begins to set outside and there is only silence as its companion. She decides to go downstairs. She came across the chest of drawers in the hallway where there were divorce papers.

Then she heads towards the living room, before getting injured by pieces of wood formerly belonging to a small table, her arm begins to bleed slightly, but she doesn't care much. Looking around, her eyes linger on the only two photos in the room: a portrait with her biological parents and one with Dad Bonnie. The last photo is on the ground and Diana took it and squeezed it as best she could because of her Freddy Fazbear plush.

She puts it down and continues on her way, all the while grimacing because of her injury. She arrives in the music room where Dad Bonnie's guitar is, which he forgot to pick up last time. A miracle Monty didn't break it. She decided to play Country Road while singing. But a knock at the door startled her in the middle of her song.

She walks timidly towards the door.

- Who is it ?

There is a little silence, with a sob and a 'The little one is here, I can't do it' before a response comes.

- It's Mélinda, I'm a police officer, can you open it, darlings?

- I don't know, I didn't ask my dads but they're not there.

- I know, darlings, that's precisely why we are here with my colleague.

Diana finally opens the door and sees the two female police officers, one of whom is crying, on the threshold of the door. The one who is not crying, Mélinda, leans towards the little girl with flaming blue hair.

- Do you know where my dads are?

- I am sorry but ...

- DON'T DARE TELL HER, SHE'S JUST A CHILD!

- I prefer to tell her NOW rather than lie to her and make her suffer much worse later!

After a few seconds, the other woman finally nods in agreement and Melinda turns to Diana again, her own tears beginning to fall.

- Your parents are dead, sweethearts, I'm sorry.

Diana doesn't respond. Even though she is very young, she knows what death is, because Monty threatened Freddy and Bonnie with it. The poor little girl, now an orphan, remains frozen before screaming in pain and sobbing, collapsing into the arms of the policewoman who felt her heart break at the sight and hearing the heartbreaking scream of the younger girl, the more falling on their bodies consumed by sorrow and mourning

Diana around 16-17 years old because I haven't yet drawn her as a little girl
