Chapter 17: Oct 17th 2004, 2 am

Maybe going out with Klaus so soon after the argument with Vanya was a bad idea.

A horrible idea in fact.

We stayed out later than planned, and I was slightly worried that I wouldn't be able to sleep off my alcohol as I had done before. Don't get me wrong, Klaus and I had fun, but I think I was starting to understand where my limits were.

As we said our drunken goodbyes in a hushed voice, I made my way up the fire escape, now alone with my thoughts. I couldn't help but think about what Vanya had shouted at me: 'What makes you so unique and perfect?'

Trust me Vanya, I am far from perfect...

Clearly, on autopilot, I approached my window. Only when I looked up did I see that it wasn't my room I was trying to sneak back into, but Fives and I could see he wasn't alone.

Great.

It was pretty late, almost 2 a.m., in fact, but there stood Five with Vanya in his arms. From the looks of things, this wasn't a friend hug. The way they looked up at each other made me think they were about to kiss.

Wait? Five and Vanya? No way... I wonder what Allison will say when I tell her!

I did my best to hold in a laugh before trying to move without them noticing me, but as I moved back, Five's eyes met mine. I froze in place, deciding what my best option was. I couldn't let him, let alone Vanya see me in this state. Before Vanya could move to look in my direction, I quickly moved away from his window and went to the safety of my own room.

I really need to work on being more discrete.

I stood frozen in the middle of my room, listening for any movements, but nothing happened. After 5 minutes, I let out a long sigh and got changed into the light blue Academy pyjama set. Before getting into bed I noticed a familiar flash of blue appear behind me.

Damn it.

I turned to see Five standing there, also wearing the same pyjama set, with his arms folded and a death stare that could haunt you for days.

You better start acting sober I swear to God!

I turned to face Five fully, crossing my arms and furrowing my eyebrows. I knew I could turn this to work in my favour.

"Five! What are you doing in my room? It's 2 am!" I whisper yelled at him, not wanting to wake anyone up. He didn't react; he just stared at me. It was starting to creep me out a little.

Did I really interrupt something so important? Wait, were they about to have their first kiss?

"You can't just blink into someone's room like this... it's creepy!" I continued, my voice still in a whisper. That's when he walked over and stood a few steps away from me.

"You know exactly why I am in here, Charlotte. " His voice was the same level as mine; clearly, he also didn't want to wake the others up. I rolled my eyes at his comment. Even though I could tell he was mad, I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing I was a little put-off.

"I don't know actually, which is why I asked," I knew I was starting to slur my words, but at this point, I didn't care.

"Why were you outside my window at 2 in the morning, hmm?" Five's eyes never left mine as he ignored my retort. I knew I needed to think of a lie and fast.

"I couldn't sleep, so I decided to have a bit of fresh air on the fire escape. I must have gotten confused and accidentally gone to your window by mistake." The lie was that good, even I almost believed it. I could tell Five was thinking it over in his mind.

"Why are you slurring your speech?" He tilted his head as he asked.

Wait, was I slurring my speech? Oh, this is just great!

"Am I slurring my speech? Maybe because I am tired now and want to sleep?" Five paused for a second, seeing if everything added up in his mind.

"Okay, fair enough." He turned his back to me and started to step away. "Oh," he began, quickly turning back to me.

"How much did you see?" I furrowed my brows at him once again.

"Hmm? I didn't see anything," I lied. I know that Five and Vanya were having a moment, and it looked like they were about to kiss... but of course, I managed to get caught just before anything could happen.

It did make sense now that I thought about it. On my way to hang out with Allison, I would pass Vanya's room (she would always have her door open), and I would see Five and Vanya hanging out with each other. But I was still surprised; I didn't think Five could show that kind of emotion towards anyone.

Five sighed at my response.

"Come on Charlotte, I know you saw Vanya and I. Don't worry, Vanya didn't see you. Thank God, I just think that would have made things worse." Five was now once again in front of me, a little less angry than before.

Ah so Vanya was still mad? What else could possibly happen now?

Before I had time to think, my mouth opened, and I asked a stupid question.

"Wait, are you and Vanya seeing-"

"Don't be ridiculous!" He hissed. We were now standing face to face. Although I was a little taller than him, but I bit my tongue and didn't comment about it.

"Vanya and I are just... very close..." He spoke, stepping away.

"Yeah, it looked it." I put my hand over my mouth, realising the words I had just said.

Okay, getting drunk is fun, but we need to know when to not speak our thoughts!

Five shot me another death glare, and I knew I had overstepped the line.

"You didn't see anything, got it?" I stared into Five's green eyes once more, not backing down.

"Okay, sure I didn't see anything..." I mean, it would have been great gossip, but I knew it was for the best to keep my mouth shut. Once Five was satisfied, knowing I would keep his secret, he blinked out of the room. Leaving me standing there with many questions that I knew would never get answered.

Part of me thought that it was a bit weird that he didn't put up much of a fight, but then again, I think we both didn't have the energy for it.

Some time had now passed. Five and I never spoke or acknowledged that night, which was definitely for the best. Vanya and I stayed away from each other as much as possible; I wouldn't even look at her at meal times. Part of me just wanted to forgive her, talk to her and just move past it, but another part of me knew that's how she would always see me... as the girl who made her feel more invisible.

It was the night before our 15th birthday, and we all decided to go to Griddy's. As we sat down at our usual booth, I couldn't help but look around at the others and see how fast we were changing.

We are all growing up...

I think we were all glad we decided to go out the night before our birthday to Griddy's because, on our birthday, we were whisked away on a week-long mission. Just like the others, I was used to not celebrating my birthday now. The only consistent thing on our birthday was Mum making us our favourite breakfasts, which I always looked forward to.

The mission we were sent on was different from the rest. This mission involved a deadly nuclear weapon and multiple international threats. Spies from all over the world were trying to get their hands on this weapon, and it was up to us to stop any potential threats.

The week-long mission took a drain on us all. As much as we tried to remain professional, there was a lot of bickering. Luther had decided to split us up so that we could get some rest when needed. The morning shift was Luther, Allison, and Klaus (who was told not to be too drunk or drugged up, which surprisingly he listened to). The night shift was Diego, Five, Ben and I, which I wasn't too mad about. The other group would do their part and wake up to help whenever there was a threat, morning or night.

Most of the attacks did occur in the evening, which is why there were more of us on that shift. One of the most challenging parts of the mission was changing our sleep schedules, which didn't help with the bickering.

After a long week of multiple attacks, we managed to infiltrate any threats and the weapon was relocated to a more secure location.

You would think that after an extended mission like this, we would be able to rest and regain our strength. Of course not; this is the UmbrellaAcademy. We were given a day. The success of our mission attracted more attention, leading to more missions.

183 Hours:

On the 09th of October, at precisely 9 am, we were whisked away on another mission.

Throughout the week, we were flown all over-from Canada to Brazil, from Brazil to Italy. Even though we didn't get to see much of the countries we were flying to, all the flying around to different places made me realise that when I'm older, I want to travel and see as much of the world as possible.

Our final international job was in Paris, France, which I had to admit was an enjoyable mission. A gang called themselves 'The Vectors' planned to steal the Eiffel Tower. At first, we thought it was a joke. I mean, it was the Eiffel Tower; it's not something you could put in your pocket and walk away with.

But as always, we stopped The Vectors and even got a group photo in front of the Eiffel Tower. Of course, I managed to get a copy of the photo and placed it with the other pictures in my room. However, I had little time to look at it as we were sent on another mission. Thankfully, it was local and not as stressful as the other missions we had been on recently.

Speaking of, the constant missions were taking a toll on me more than I thought. I didn't let it show, but I felt constantly tired, which started to have a small effect on my powers, meaning I had to rely on my combat skills more.

20 Hours:

It was the first day in a week that we hadn't been called on a mission. I don't know what was worse: my training with Dad or continuous missions. On the last mission, Klaus and I decided that we would relax when we got the chance.

At this point, we were too tired to venture out like before, so we decided to drink in Klaus' room after dinner. He seemed to have an endless stash of alcohol. I'm surprised that no one had spotted it, but he did have his way of hiding things.

We sat on his bed, my back against his wall, and we started discussing our last mission.

"Did you see Five trip up?" Klaus started to laugh before taking a sip of his drink. I spat out a bit of my drink as he mentioned Five tripping.

"What? No! When did that happen? How did I miss that!" I looked over to Klaus, a shocked expression on my face.

That would have made my week!

Klaus kept rocking forward, trying not to laugh and do a spit-take.

"How did you miss that? He was walking away after he knocked some guy out, and then he tripped up over his own feet... totally ruined his cocky walk away."

"Gosh, how could I have missed something like that? I could've definitely used that laugh after the week we've had!" At this point, I could feel the alcohol rushing through me.

Finally, that numbing feeling I've been craving.

"Ah, oh well! That's why we have alcohol!" Klaus raised his bottle in the air, and I joined him. I found comfort in knowing that the drained feeling I had felt was shared with someone.

"Ooo, hold on. I gotta pee!" Klaus jumped off the bed and made his way out of the room. It was funny to watch him try to walk in a straight line. I took a large sip from my drink and rested my head against the wall, looking up at the ceiling.

Is this always going to be my life?

I was pulled away from my thoughts when the alarm rang through the Academy.

No. No. No. No! Please tell me it's a false alarm, and we are not being called for a mission!

The sound of the others running and getting ready made me realise this was not a false alarm.

Damn it.

I did my best to remain calm. This would be the first and only time I would be drunk while going on a mission. I can't risk the others knowing about my little habit.

I quickly joined the others and waited for our mission brief. I decided to sit next to Allison as we waited for everyone to join us. Klaus was the last one in and was noticeably drunk, which the others weren't surprised about.

"Klaus, are you seriously drunk again?" Luther asked, disappointment laced in his tone. Klaus, however just shrugged before answering.

"Oh, come on now, Luther! Live a little!" Klaus patted Luther on the shoulder before getting settled in an armchair.

"Seriously Klaus?" Allison said next to me, leaning forward to make eye contact with Klaus.

Before anything else could happen, Dad walked in with Pogo.

"Right children, are we all ready?" Dad noticed Klaus' state but, as always decided to ignore it.

We were driven to the City Central Museum, where a robbery was taking place. Once outside, Luther delegated us into our parings; surprise, I was put with Five. I did my best to stay quiet, knowing that the alcohol was now taking full effect.

"What's wrong with you? Stop messing around and keep up!" Five hissed at me in a whispered voice. As much as I hate to admit it, he was right; I needed to keep up. My brain was focusing on too many things at once, I was trying to walk normally, but I guess I was overthinking it.

Once I had caught up to Five, he stopped walking and gave me a puzzled look.

"You seem... off?" I didn't like how he examined me as if trying to find a fault.

"Will you stop looking at me like that? I'm fine. Just... tired," I continued walking, letting Five catch up.

Luther had given us the role of surprise attack. There was a point in the air vents we could hide in. At the sign of struggle, Five would blink us down to help the others. Once we were close enough to the vents, Five blinked us up, which was a horrible idea when drunk.

My whole world spun, and I couldn't make sense of anything. Usually, I like this feeling, but not when on a mission, especially when I'm within close range of Five. We were both lying on our stomachs and watching through a small gap.

We were in the vent for about 15 minutes, but that was enough time for my body to go into panic mode. I kept getting flashbacks of when I was kept in a coffin and made to escape. I couldn't stop my body from shaking, and I started to hold my breath.

No, come on. Not now. This really isn't a good time to have a panic attack!

I tried to coach myself out of it, hoping that my movements weren't enough to draw Five's attention to me.

You're stuck again! You're stuck again! There's no way out this time!

"Charlotte?" I felt a hand touch my arm, which made me flinch.

"Huh?" I turned to see Five watching me. Even though his eyes were covered by his mask, I could sense the look he was giving me.

Pity.

"I'm... I'm fine..." Even I didn't believe myself; I could barely get through a sentence. Before Five could say another word, we both noticed movement, followed by gunshots, meaning it was our cue to go.

"Are you sure?" Five asked, whilst getting ready to blink us down to where the others were. Still shaking, I nodded my head. I could feel the drunken feeling being swept away by the adrenalin rush.

Once Five blinked us down, there was a little distance between us and the rest of the group. As we made our way to join them, a large robber with a gun came running towards Five and me. Still shaken up, I hesitated momentarily, which Five picked up on. He blinked in front of the robber and managed to disarm him. By this point, my mind was now in mission mode. I conjured up a fireball and blasted it towards the large robber. My aim was a little off, but it hit him in the shoulder.

I watched as he hit the ground and shouted in pain; Five took this opportunity to tie him up. I looked around and saw the others were also finished with sorting the other robbers out. We gathered around and did a head count before walking to the exit. As I followed the others, my eyes landed on a beautiful painting.

A quick look won't hurt.

I checked to see if none of the others had noticed I had stopped walking with them; the sound of a door opening and closing confirmed that. I approached the painting and took in all its beauty. It was of two lovers, one sitting on a balcony, reaching for a kiss from the other, who leaned into the kiss. The artwork was incredible, but I was more drawn to the look of love, the fact that the man in the photo was clearly desperate to see the female and would do anything to hold her. I looked to the side to see the painter and the name of the painting. The little sign read: Romeo & Juliet. By, Frank Dicksee 1884.

Of course, it was Romeo & Juliet.

I couldn't help but feel a little pang in my heart. I know I was only 15 and had time to find someone, but I also knew my chances of finding someone were slim. I mean, firstly, I have powers. Secondly, I know that I'm traumatised by the training Dad has put me through... maybe I was never met to experience that kind of love, but only to view it in paintings and movies.

I shook my head, not wanting to think about me and relationships. I went to the door the others had gone through, but something tugged at my ponytail.

Another robber, who I hadn't noticed, pulled me back and put a knife to my throat. I tried not to struggle so that the knife wouldn't break my skin. That drunk feeling had now returned, and the room was spinning again.

Sensing my sudden panic, the robber chuckled.

"Aw, has your team left you? That's a shame," he said, looking around at his knocked-out gang. "Well, it seems they have done some serious work on my men. Let's make the score even, shall we?" He lifted his knife away from my neck, and that gave me a chance.

What a rookie.

I turned around and kicked his arm with the knife in it, causing the knife to glide through the air and land on the ground. Using my air power, I lifted him in the air and slammed him into the ground. He let out a little groan, but from what I could tell, he was out of it. I looked down at him before speaking.

"There, the score is now even." I started to walk away. Just when I was a few steps away from the door, that's when I heard the sound of a gun going off. At first, I was confused until a shooting pain travelled through my body. The pain was like nothing I had ever felt before.

I turned around to see the robber I had just tackled lifting his head up, gun in hand. He passed out as our eyes met. Before I could assess the damage I too collapsed on the floor.

1 Hour:

A piercing bright white light shone through my eyelids. I tried to move my arm to cover my eyes but was met by a sharp shooting pain up my side. I couldn't help but let out a hiss. It felt like I was being cut open again and again.

"Be careful, dear," a soft, gentle voice came from behind me, accompanied by a reassuring hand on my shoulder. Mum came into view, a smile on her face. She was wearing a white medical apron with quite a bit of blood on it-or should I say my blood?

I smiled back at her, a little embarrassed. I took more notice of the room I was in; it was the medical room. I lay in the bed, trying to figure out what happened. I remember looking at a painting and tackling a robber... but I don't remember leaving.

Mum could sense I was confused. She helped me into a more comfortable position before explaining what had happened.

"You were shot in the side. You were really lucky; it just missed your ribcage by a few inches," I looked down to see my side bandaged up. I was more lucky than Mum knew... It just so happened that the side I got shot at was the opposite side to my bad arm.

"Who found me?" I asked, still trying to piece together more of the story.

"Initially, it was Five. The report the others gave to your father was that Five noticed you weren't with the others and went back to look for you; that's when he saw you on the ground bleeding.

Oh, so it was Five? I just know he will have something to say about this and expect a thank you.

"The others wanted to wait for you to wake up, but your father wanted them to get some rest. Would you prefer to sleep in here, or do you feel well enough to sleep in your own room?" I sat there for a moment, thinking it over.

"Please can I go back to my room?" I gave Mum a smile. I was glad she was the one to be with me when I woke up. Even though she was a robot, you couldn't manufacture the kindness she had.

"Of course sweetie, I'll come up to check on you and give you some medicine." With that, she helped me back into my room. She planted a soft kiss on my forehead as I got comfy in bed.

"Sweet dreams, Charlotte." With my eyes closed, I smiled.

"Goodnight, Mum."

22 Minutes:

I was in and out of sleep, my mind unable to rest. I was afraid to see the others, wondering what they would think. Looking to the side to see my alarm clock, the time read 1:38 am.

Really? Can't I catch a break? Or a regular sleep schedule?

I sighed before trying to move out of bed. Mum had left some strong pain medication and a glass of water on my bedside table. After letting the medication do its thing, I decided to look at the sky, which always seemed to calm me down.

Not wanting to stand in the cold in my pyjamas, I carefully changed into some comfy wear, consisting of black joggers, a white top and a black hoodie. The cool air was refreshing. The sky was a beautiful mixture of black and purple, which made the stars look brighter.

"I don't think you should be out here." I felt a presence behind me, but I knew who it was. Five stood there, also wearing comfy wear, his arms folded. He joined my side by the railing of the fire escape; I didn't want to do a back-and-forth with him but had a feeling it would happen anyway. Five then sighed at my lack of response.

"Didn't you hear me? Did somehow getting shot in the side mess with your brain?" I rolled my eyes; we were now staring at each other.

"Oh, I heard you, but it doesn't mean I must listen or respond to you." I really wasn't in the mood; my mind was filled with too many thoughts and emotions.

"You don't know when to quit, do you? What happened to you on that mission? You were off the moment you walked into the living room. Almost like you were trying to hide something..." Five's eyes kept flickering between mine as if he was trying to piece things together.

I looked away, annoyed that he was on to something.

"Stop looking at me like that. You think you know everything, but you know nothing Five." I was starting to get mad now, and his eyes felt like nettles pressing into me.

"Oh, I know nothing about you, huh?" He abruptly moved me to look and face him, his hands on both of my shoulders. I winched a little as that shooting pain travelled through me again.

"So I guess me knowing that you have nightmares is nothing? Knowing that Klaus isn't the only one who gets drunk in this house?" My eyes widened.

He knows... He knows that I go out with Klaus and get drunk...

Sensing my realisation and that he had my attention, he moved his hands away from my shoulders.

"See, I know more than you think. You thought no one would realise? You may have had everybody else fooled, but not me. I would hear you coming in after a night out, talking to Klaus in the alleyway, trying to be quiet in your room..."

"It is none of your business what I do with the others Five. Why do you care, hm? Why watch me so closely? Unless... you feel threatened by me?" My eyes narrowed at him; it was odd that he seemed to have known all this time but only said something now. He huffed before answering.

"Me? Threatened by you? Don't give yourself that much credit. It's your reckless behaviour that is either going to get yourself killed or the rest of us killed, too. Tonight on the mission was the first clear sign that you are now a liability. Not only were you drunk, but shaking as if you were buried alive!"

Of all the phrases he could have used, of all the words in the dictionary, he used the one example that actually did happen to me.

"Oh, so I'm a liability, huh? Last time I checked Five, you were not my babysitter, but I can handle myself just fine!" Every word that left his mouth fueled an angry fire inside of me.

"Handle yourself just fine? How are you able to believe your own words? If you are drinking because of your nightmares, then you are more pathetic than I thought. Face it, Charlotte you're a complete and utter mess. A waste of time and space, and still to this day, I wonder why anyone puts up with you. If Luther hadn't told me to go back and find where you were, you would have died, all because of your stupidity." Five spoke coldly to me. For the first time since the day I arrived, I was genuinely hurt. I stepped back but Five wasn't done talking and stepped forward.

"We were a better Academy before you joined us; having you around is just a burden on us all. Let's be honest here, without your powers, you are just nothing." I could feel my eyes fill with tears, but I did myself not to let them fall.

"Is that what you really think of me?" I spoke in a quiet tone. He rolled his eyes and ran his hands through his hair.

"It's not what I think of you; it's the truth. Do I have to make it any more clear for you? It's about time you looked around and realised that you're nothing but a problem waiting to happen." That last sentence was enough to change my sadness into rage. I was tired of holding back.

"You're always so critical and judgemental Five! All you've ever done since the moment we met is look down at me like you're somehow better than I am, better than the rest of The Umbrella Academy. Well, guess what? You are just as messed up as the rest of us." I could feel my face turn red, and my blood was boiling. I thought that would put Five in his place, but he just looked at me with a smug smile.

"Well, unlike the rest of us, we are family. You can wear the uniform and be a part of our team, but you'll always be the odd one out. The one who joined later, the one who messed it all up."

That was it. I was done with this conversation. Having Vanya shout at me was one thing, but now Five was adding on top of that, which was just the finishing piece. I looked away from Five's face and started planning what to do.

Without another word, I went towards the fire escape ladder. My side was beginning to hurt, but it was being dulled by the rage and hurt I felt from Five's words. As I started to climb down, Five looked down at me.

"Where do you think you're going now?" He called after me. I looked up at him, hate and rage in my eyes.

"Anywhere away from you," I said bitterly; with one last look into his green eyes, I continued to move down the fire escape.

Don't look back.

I continued walking, not caring if Five was watching me. That was it now; there was no salvation for our friendship if you could even call it that. I would say it was more of a forced partnership; we had to get along with each other for the sake of the Academy. It was typical for all of us not to get along, but the hatred between Five and me was something entirely different.

Clouds had started to block the views of the stars, followed by the incoming sound of thunder. As the rain began to pour down, I carried on walking, my hood now up. I didn't know how I would handle Five after that argument; unlike Vanya, it was difficult to ignore him the same way.

I let the rain soak into my hoodie, looking up at the sky, closing my eyes and letting the rain absorb into my skin. I just needed to breathe. I was a little shocked that I couldn't feel my powers during that argument, but maybe it was because I was too exhausted.

2 Minutes:

I decided it was time to head back. Maybe some good sleep will help me think of what to do about Five and everything.

I wonder how long Dad will give me to rest?

It had been a while since I had any special training with him, so he might use the lack of missions as prime time to get started again.

I was too busy being trapped in my thoughts to realise I had stepped onto the road. The streets were quiet, and the only sound came from the rain and thunder mixed with a car horn.

Wait, a car horn?

I looked up to see through the rain and saw a car speeding towards me. I didn't have enough time to react. The impact sent me flying through the air. I felt an increased pressure in my chest, which could only mean I had broken a rib or something. Once I landed on the ground, my head hit the concrete hard.

I tried to move my head, but I could only move it enough to see the car driving off. My mouth started to fill with blood, and I couldn't help but laugh a little.

Of course, this is how I go.

It was 2 am, and I knew no one was around. I started to make my peace, but I couldn't help but get a little upset at the fact I wouldn't have any more sister nights with Allison or talking with Klaus and Ben about silly things and making fun of Dad. I would never see Mum's caring smile again...

At that point, I noticed the rain started falling in slow motion. It was as if time was stopping.

Well, this is it.

"Who does that? Who hits a kid and doesn't stop to call an ambulance." I furrowed my eyebrows at the voice. It was a voice I had never heard of before.

Was it an angel? Coming to take me away?

The angel stepped into view and looked down at me. She wasn't what I was expecting an angel to look like. She had long, icy blonde hair that was in a curl, and her eyes were hidden by round black tinted sunglasses. She wore a black leather raincoat that suited her very well. She held an umbrella in one hand and a black briefcase in another.

"Hello Charlotte, or should I say Number 8?" The angel said, putting the briefcase down and taking off her sunglasses. "It's a shame that we are meeting under these circumstances."

What did she mean by that?

I tried to move but failed; the pain was just too much to take. The only way I could describe the pain was like awful period cramps, but times by 100.

"I don't think moving is a good idea," she spoke, still looking down at me.

"What's... going...on..." I managed to say, feeling my life slip away.

"Well, quite frankly, you are dying. But I know you are aware of that. However, I have a proposition for you. Seeing as you are on a timer, I will go through this quickly. I work for an organisation called the Temps Commission and we have the duty to make sure all the events in time happen. We've been keeping an eye on you for a while now and think you would be far more suited to work with us, but seeing as you are dying, we would like to give you the choice. You can either die if you wish, or we can save your life, and in return, you work for us for how about six years? And if after six years you want to leave, you can."

So, she wasn't an angel but a recruiter. Wow, she really picked her timing.

I watched as she circled around me as if examining my injuries. I knew I didn't have long left now. I was surprised I had lasted this long already. Although, I was intrigued to learn more about this Temps Commisson and why they were so interested in me. But I had a choice: die or live a different life.

My mind kept replaying what Five had said to me.

'A waste of time and space.' Maybe death was the better option for me.

"So, have you made a decision?" The fake angel asked, extending a hand out to me.

Or maybe a different life is what I need.

With the last of my strength, I lifted my hand to hers and looked into her eyes.

"I'm in."

Five Fact: Five couldn't help but feel a little guilty when he saw Charlotte was injured on the mission. They were paired together, and he should have ensured they left together.

Just to let you all know, I will be taking a break from writing for a few days as I am moving 😕 BUT with that being said, I will let you all know when I'm back. In the meantime, I'll be posting more edits, and who knows, I may even post edits linked to the book 😜

QOTD: What do you want to see more of in the next part?
