Snoggletog (7) Part 2
Toothless and I take to the skies after I put on his new tailfin. After the battle with the dragon Queen, the tailfin that I used got destroyed. And it just so happened to be the one that enabled Toothless to fly without me. Though with everything that has happened since I woke up, I haven't really had much time to remake it.
We spend most of the time in the sky doing stunts. Though this time around, we limit the ones where I leave Toothless's back because he needs me to helps him fly. I steer Toothless to fly right below the clouds, just to take in the moment. Turns out though, when flying in the clouds, it gets hard to see what is in front of you. Before I can lower us back down, I see a hoard of Dragons flying straight at us. I yell in surprise and try to dodge around them, so neither Toothless or I get hit and fall.
Sometime after I woke up, my dad had presented me with my mother's helmet. He had given it to me, saying that he had meant to give this to me before I left. I decided to wear it this morning when flying, but I was cautious so it wouldn't fall of my head when flying. Though that no longer matters when a dragon flys too close to us and hits the helmet, causing it to fall into the clouds.
"No! My helmet!" I hear Toothless roar before he flies straight down, following my quickly descending helmet. "Toothless! No Stop!" I say, trying to get his attention. "Wait, stop." When he finally stops, he looks up at me. "We will get it later. Right now, we need to get back and find out what's going on."
I knew the chances of finding me helmet were slim, but I had to get it. Just not now. We may have bigger problems than a lost helmet.

We land on Berk and I jump off Toothless, seeing Astrid running towards me. Things between us have been tense, though I''m not sure what caused it.
"Hiccup! What's going on?" She asks me, worry clear in her voice. "Where are they going?" She gestures to the dragons that are flying farther and farther away from Berk. I may have spent five years with Toothless and helping other villages with their problems, but I never spent a good amount of time with any other dragon like I did with Toothless. But I still have may theories.
I see the villagers running to me, all looking confused and worried. I feel overwhelmed as they crowd me, throwing questions at me left and right.
"Why did they leave?"
"What's happening?"
"Are they never comin' back?"
I try to get them to quiet down but everyone is yelling over everyone, drowning out my voice. Then I hear my dad over everyone else. "Calm down!" My dad makes his way to the front, standing in front of me. "Give him a chance to speak!"
That's a first.
His face softens and he looks at me. "Hiccup, where are all our dragons going?"
I wish I knew.
"Dad, I don't know..."
I see the villagers faces fall. I feel my chest tighten and the feeling of disappointing everyone comes back full force.
This time I wish I knew how to help.

Kay so that's part two.
Hope y'all liked it.
I do realise that I am writing in first person.
I don't plan to continue doing that after I finish the Snoggletog story.
And I will be making a few changes to the story but only because I what the previous story was about.
If you think anything seems to...
Unlikely...
Please tell me.
I'll try to fix it...
Any way.
I'll try to update again soon.
:)
