if you're gonna keep playing by this "rule" of yours, you're never gonna know anything at all. and for all you know, she might feel better after she tells you about it. you know why? because you may be able to offer her some advice but even if you're unable to do so, at least you managed to lend her a shoulder to cry on. that's what partners do.
what's the point of saying that her happiness is yours when you won't even know what's putting that smile on her face? what's the point of saying that her sadness is yours when you don't even know what's upsetting her or troubling her?

we know you respect her but when it comes to being partners, you need to know almost everything; their likes and dislikes, what puts them at ease and what makes them squeamish, what makes them laugh or cry, what they love with the entirety of their heart and what they abhore with every fibre in their being. if you don't know what's troubling her, you're never gonna be able to help her or even advice her. . .
and honestly, ask yourself this---will you actually be able to stand by and watch the boat she's in capsize? i can tell you right now that that the answer is no because we know you, chris. we know you'd jump in to save her even if you couldn't swim.

NAOMI LINDBERG ENJOYS A NIGHT STROLL WITH BEN BARNES IN LONDON

Yes, you read that correctly---she didn't go on a romantic night stroll with our infamous Captain America hunk, Chris Evans. Excuse us while we drown our sorrows in some ice-cream.

After not being seen together for approximately a month and a half, Golden Globe nominee Naomi Lindberg (29), and Narnia's Ben Barnes (34) were spotted out late last night on a romantic park stroll, holding hands and even having a go at the swing set.

Although, not only had they taken a stroll but they were also seen together at the premiere of The Danish Girl, where Lindberg stars alongside Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (35) [picture below].

"They [Ben and Naomi] looked absolutely in love," a source claimed. "They were just strolling, hand-in-hand, laughing over something Ben said because the guy is an absolutely charmer---it was such a pure sight to see."

Another source claimed that they saw the the pair returning to Lindberg's hotel after their midnight stroll, still giggling and holding hands. My, my, could this be the start of something new for Barnes and Lindberg? Are they finally getting together after years of denying dating rumors?

But where was Chris Evans in all of this, you might ask?

Well, fans who attended the premiere were quick to send out tweets to inform their friends and the rest of the world that Evans (34) was not at all seen at the movie premiere. Uh oh! Could there perhaps be some trouble in paradise or was there actually never a paradise to begin with? Is that why the Captain America star wasn't amongst Lindberg's friends two nights ago?
