no, 'cause i don't want to overstep my boundaries. i just. . . i just don't want her to feel overwhelmed or anything. the last thing i wanna do is hurt her more than she already is. and knowing naomi, she'd rather handle things on her own than ask for help. i wanna help her, i really do but i need to respect what she wants.
but god, i really do want to know what's going on in that head of hers. she's always been so cheery and happy that i would have never expected to see her like this.
it hurts me to know that she's hurting and it hurts me even more to know that i have to respect what she wants.

chris, sometimes you just have to overstep these boundaries in order to know what's bothering her. if you choose to remain in the same spot forever, then she's gonna do the same and close off on you. looking at her, she does have some qualities that mirror yours and one of them is closing off on people when it becomes too much to handle.

rdj's got a point there ^ she could be quiet now but deep down, she probably needs someone to talk to. i know i'll usually feel like i'm bothering someone with my troubles if i were to tell them about it.
plus, what she wants and what she needs are two very different things. she might want space but deep down, she might really need a shoulder to lean on.

paul's right. she could probably be suffering on her own right now because well, we all know naomi and we all know she's the most selfless person there is. she probably doesn't want to come off as a burden to you, and i know you'll never think of her as such but everybody's different in their own way. maybe this is how naomi usually copes with her problems.

rdj's right, bud. remember, naomi overstepped her boundaries to make sure you were okay when that whole mackenzie thing blew out of proportion. she could have told me to leave you alone, to let you get over it yourself but i'm pretty sure she knew deep down that it was eating you alive. and she went all out by cancelling her plans for the next few days to make sure you were okay.
that should already be more than enough to tell you just how she feels about you.
