A few weeks passed. Shehnaaz didn't talk to Sidharth after that day. She didn't receive his calls and reply his messeges. She kept herself busy in work. Meanwhile the news of Sidharth's wedding with Sonia spread everywhere. Both families have already decided the wedding venue and started arranging everything. But Sidharth had no interest in all these. His mind were somewhere else. He wanted to talk to Shehnaaz. Her ignorance were bothering him. She didn't come to his home for practice. They had many projects and concerts together but suddenly she cancelled all. She was doing another projects. Sidharth didn't have the courage to face her so he didn't go to her home.
So differences kept increasing between them.

One day Sidharth was in her room. Suddenly Sonia came and started showing him some dresses on phone.

"Baby inn mein se kaunsi dress wedding ke liye acchi rahegi?" Sonia asked.

"Abhi mera mood thik nahi hai. Tum jao." Sidharth said without looking at her.

"Sid this is important. Please ek baar choose kar lo."

Sidharth became very angry. He snatched the phone and threw it somewhere.

"What the fuck have you done? My phone could be broken." Sonia shouted and picked up her phone which was fortunately all right.

"You are thinking about your phone but what about my heart? It's already broken because of you." Sidharth said with pain in his eyes.

"Kyu? Uss Shehnaaz ki wajah se? I can't believe Sid. Samne humari shaadi hai aur tumhe abhi bhi uss Shehnaaz ki padi hai?"

"Shaadi? It's just a forced marriage. Main Shehnaaz se pyaar karta tha, karta hoon aur humesha karunga. Tum blackmail karke mujhse shaadi toh kar sakti ho but mere dil se Shehnaaz ko kabhi nahi nikal sakti. Now just fuck off." Sidharth said.

Sonia gave him a death glare and left.

Preeti heard their fight but couldn't hear the whole conversation. She came to Sidharth's room and said, "Sonia Di se shaadi karne ka faisla toh aap hi ka tha na? Ab unn se aise kyu baat kar rahe ho? Khush nahi ho unke saath?"

"Meri marzi main kaise bhi baat karu. Tujhe kya?"

"Of course. Sab kuch aap ki marzi ke hisaab se hi toh chalta hai. Mujhe toh ab tak samajh nahi aaya apne Sana ki jagah Sonia Di ko kyu choose kiya."

"That's my personal matter. Tu nahi samjhegi. Waise Sana se yaad aaya, tune usko call karke pucha woh kyu nahi aa rahi practice ke liye? Is she okay?"

"Haan. Unhone kaha unhe bohut kaam hai. Aur aaj ke baad woh kabhi practice ke liye nahi aayegi." Preeti said.

"What?" Sidharth was shocked. "Practice ke liye nahi aayegi, but why? Ab iska zyada ho raha hai. Na mere calls utha rahi hai, na messeges ke reply de rahi hai. Aur ab bol rahi hai practice ke liye nahi aayegi. Aise kaise? Main aaj hi uss se jaa kar puchunga woh aisa kyu kar rahi hai." Sidharth said.

"Sahi toh hai. Woh waaha kyu jaaye jaaha uski koi value hi nahi hai? Aap ek baar phir uss Sonia Di ke baaton mein aa gaye. But soon you'll regret it. Sana jaisa pyaar apko koi nahi de sakta. Sonia Di toh bilkool bhi nahi. Woh ladki sirf khudse pyaar karti hai. Sirf khudse." Preeti said and left.

Sidharth started feeling helpless.

"Preeti kaash main tujhe baata paata. Lekin mere paas koi option hi nahi hai. But jo bhi ho mujhe Shehnaaz se baat karni padegi. She can't ignore me like this. Yeh sab main isliye kar raha hoon taa ki hum at least friends rahe. I won't let her break our friendship." Sidharth said in his mind.

"Shehnaaz Beta, kaha ja rahi hai?" Pammi Ji asked.

"Recording hai Mummy. Shaam tak wapas aa jaungi." Shehnaaz said while taking her handbag.

"Aaj kaal tu bohut kaam kar rahi hai. Thoda rest bhi liya kar."

"Nahi Mummy. Abhi mujhe bohut kaam karne hai. Without any support mujhe kuch kar dikhana hai. Rest lungi toh kaam kaise hoga? Ok bye, main chalti hoon." Shehnaaz said and left her room.

Pammi Ji felt bad for her.

Shehnaaz was going when Sidharth entered. They both were face to face.

"Tu yaaha?" Shehnaaz asked.

"Kyu? Nahi aa sakta?" Sidharth said.

"I didn't mean that. Actually mujhe abhi jaana hoga. I'm getting late." Shehnaaz said and tried to leave but Sidharth stopped her.

"Itna kya zaroori kaam hai jiske liye mujhe avoid kar rahi hai?" He asked.

"Main tujhe avoid nahi kar rahi hoon." She said.

"Phir practice pe kyu nahi aati aaj kaal? Mere calls kyu nahi uthati? Mere messages ke reply kyu nahi deti? Humare saare recordings aur concerts cancel kyu kar diye? Yeh avoid nahi hai toh aur kya hai?"

Sidharth demanded answers.

"Main busy rehti hoon Sidharth. Mere samne bohut saare important projects the isliye maine woh sab cancel kar diya." Shehnaaz said.

"Woh sab mujhse bhi important the?" Now there was a deep sadness in his voice.

"Mere life mein Mummy Papa ke baad sabse zyada important tu hai. Lekin ab teri life mein koi mujhse bhi zyada important person aa chuka hai. Samne shaadi hai teri. Busy hoga tu. Main tujhe space dena chahti hoon that's it. Aur shaadi ke baad life mein changes aate hai. Hum jaise pehle milte the waise nahi mil paayenge. Aur mujhe nahi lagta Sonia bhi chahegi ki uska fiance uss se zyada kisi aur ke saath time spend kare."

Sidharth couldn't reply. Her words affected him a lot. But what else he could do?

"Toh iska matlab tu aaj ke baad practice ke liye bhi nahi aayegi?" He asked.

"Nahi. Practice toh meri kab ki puri ho chuki thi. Hum dono ko hi paata tha ki yeh bas humara ek dusre se milne ka bahana hai. But ab iski aur zaroorat nahi hai." Shehnaaz said.

"Aur friendship? Shaadi ke baad kya woh bhi khatam ho jaati hai?"

"Friendship toh humesha rahegi. Chahe hum paas ho yaa door." Shehnaaz said.

She started leaving slowly. A tear escaped from her eyes. Sidharth was looking ar her and inside he was cursing himself for the current situation.

Suddenly Shehnaaz turned behind and said, "Waise ek baat bolu? Uss din agar tera decision kuch aur hota, toh aaj hum iss situation padh khade nahi hote."

Saying that Shehnaaz left. Sidharth watched her leaving.

In evening Shehnaaz came from recording. As she was very tired, her mother gave her water. While Shehnaaz was drinking, her mother showed her an invitation card.

"Yeh kya hai?" Shehnaaz asked looking at the card.

"Invitation card hai. Sidharth aur Sonia ke shaadi ka." Pammi Ji replied

Suddenly the card fell from her hand. She felt uneasy. It felt like someone pierced her heart. She looked at her mother with watery eyes.

Pammi Ji understood her situation. "Aaj Shukla family aayi thi humein invite karne. Goa mein destination wedding kar rahe hai. Ajeeb log hai. Khud hi aake pehle rishte ki baat karte hai aur phir yeh sab karte hai. Sidharth bhi isliye aaya tha aaj. Mujhse kaha ki "Shehnaaz ko sayad takleef ho sakti hai meri shaadi hote dekh kar, isliye woh nahi bhi aaye toh koi baat nahi. Lekin aap log zaroor aana." Khair hum toh nahi jaa rahe." She said.

Hearing Sidharth's words, suddenly her anger rose. "Kyu nahi jaayenge Mummy? Hum zaroor jaayenge. Samajhta kya hai woh apne aap ko? Main jaungi aur usse dikha dungi ki uski shaadi se mujhe koi fark nahi padhta. Aap packing suru karo Mummy. Hum Goa jaa rahe hai." Shehnaaz said and left from there.

"Rita ka plan successful hogaya. Waise kehti toh maana kar deti lekin ab dekho, ek baar mein maan gayi. Chalo accha hai. Paata nahi dono ke bich kya hua hai. Lekin Waheguru Ji aap dekhna, Goa mein inn dono ke bich ki saari dooriyan mit jaye." Pammi Ji said in her mind.
