1 year passed like this. This one year brought a huge change in Sidharth's and Shehnaaz's lives. Shehnaaz is not a simple middle-class girl anymore. She is now a star. She is doing concerts back to back. She is singing in some movies also. Sidharth became more famous than earlier. They both are happy in their life. Meanwhile Sidharth has realised his feelings for Shehnaaz. He realised that he loves her. But somehow he isn't able to tell her as Shehnaaz only thinks him as a good friend. The moment when Sidharth realised his feelings was also memorable.

One day Sidharth and Shehnaaz were invited to a party. There were many famous celebs. Sidharth and Shehnaaz were standing at a corner when a handsome man came to them.

"Shehnaaz Gill! I'm really glad that you came to my party." He said.

"Aap mujhe jaante ho?" Shehnaaz asked as the man was a famous music director.

"Of course. Tumhe kaun nahi jaanta? If you don't mind, may I have a dance with you?" He asked and gave his hand.

"Of course. That will be my pleasure." Shehnaaz said. Before going she looked at Sidharth and said, "Main abhi aati hoon."

Sidharth gave a slight smile. Shehnaaz went to dance with the man. It wasn't liked by Sidharth at all, but what else he could do?

They were dancing very close. His blood boiled seeing them together. He made faces and tried to divert his mind by taking his eyes off them. But again and again his eyes fell on them. He himself didn't know what was happening but he wanted to stop their dance at any cost. While dancing the man's hand suddenly touched Shehnaaz's waist. Without any second thought Sidharth went straight to them and interrupted their dance.

"Sorry to interrupt but Shehnaaz mujhe kuch baat karni thi tujhse." He said to Shehnaaz. Then he looked at the man and said, "Excuse me." and took Shehnaaz to a corner by pulling her hand. The man stood like a fool.

"Achanak tujhe kya hua Sidharth?" Shehnaaz asked.

"Dekh Shehnaaz tu unn se zyada baatein mat kar. I'm not getting good vibes from him." He said.

"Kyu? Kitne acche aur humble person hai. Mujhe toh thik hi lage."

"Tu inn music directors ko nahi jaanti. Yeh log aise hi hote hai. He invited us that's why we are here. Lekin iss se zyada inn logo ke close mat jaana. And I don't think his intention is good."

"Sidharth main koi choti bacchi nahi hoon. Logo ki pehchaan hai mujhe. But I trust you. Just because you are saying, I'll maintain distance from him." Shehnaaz said and left.

Whole night Sidharth thought about the incident. Why did he behave like that? Was that man's intention really bad? Or he was being insecure? Why? Is this because he loves her?

Mind: What are you even thinking? You can't fall in this trap again.

Heart: What trap? This is love. Sid you love her.

Mind: There's nothing called love. Don't you remember Sid it only gave you pain?

Heart: That was not your true love. True love will never let you cry. She will become the reason of your happiness. And Shehnaaz is your happiness.

Mind: Listen to me Sid. It'll again hurt you.

Heart: If you listen to your mind then you'll lose her forever. Can you tolerate that?

"No. I love her. She has become my world. I can't lose her. Aur usse main kisi aur ki hone nahi dunga. She is only mine." Sidharth uttered.

Back to present days...

Sidharth and Shehnaaz just finished their concert and they were returning home. Outside the auditorium, some fans blocked their ways. They were taking selfies and autographs from them. Sidharth and Shehnaaz both were giving autographs. Suddenly Shehnaaz noticed that the fan girls were drooling over him. They were trying to be close. Shehnaaz didn't like that and felt irritation.

"Bas bas ab bohut hogaya. We have to go." Shehnaaz said and took Sidharth away from them.

"Arrey kya hua? Lene deti unhe selfies, bechare khush ho jaate. After all they are our fans. Aur waise bhi humein kaunsi train pakadni hai?" Sidharth said.

"Dekh woh ladkiya zyada chipakne ki koshis kar rahi thi. Main toh tujhe bachane ke liye yaaha le aayi. Mujhe laga tu uncomfortable feel kar raha hoga." Shehnaaz said.

Sidharth understood the matter and thought to tease her. "Main kyu uncomfortable feel karunga? Tune dekha nahi kitni sundar thi woh ladkiyan. Ab woh apne idol ko dekh kar toh aise react karegenge hi. Tujhe yaad nahi tu bhi toh ek time unn fan girls mein se thi." He said.

"Lekin meri baat toh alag hui nah."

"Woh kaise?"

"Mujhe nahi paata. Aur agar tujhe itna hi accha lag raha tha toh jaa apne sundar fan girls ke paas. I won't stop you." Shehnaaz said and started walking.

"Arrey Shehnaaz meri baat toh sun...."

Shehnaaz was walking. Suddenly she stopped as she saw two couple near a food stall. They were eating bada paav. The boy was feeding the girl. They were looking very cute. Watching their cute moments, Shehnaaz smiled sadly. She remembered how she and Rohit used to spend time just like this. Her eyes filled with tears.

"Shehnaaz tu mujhe waha akeli chhod kar chali aayi...." Sidharth stopped suddenly after seeing tears in her eyes. Then his eyes fell on the couple. He understood the reason of Shehnaaz's tears. He grabbed Shehnaaz's hand and took her to the other side of the road.

"Sidharth what are you doing?" Shehnaaz asked and freed her hand from his grip.

"Ab dekh unn ko." Sidharth said pointing his finger towards the couple.

Shehnaaz looked at them.

"Ek time tha jab main bilkool yaaha, teri jagah par khada tha. Uss waqt meri aur Sonia ki relationship ekdam last stage pad thi. I was confused. Kisi bhi tarah main apni relationship ko bachana chahta tha. But samajh nahi aa raha tha kaise. Paata hai tab maine kya dekha?"

Shehnaaz looked at Sidharth. He faced towards the couple and said, "Ek couple ko, bilkool unn dono jaise. Dono khush the, ek dusre mein khoye hue the. Aise hi bada paav khaa rahe the. That day I thought how lucky some people are and how unlucky I am! Paata hai woh dono kaun the?" Sidharth took a pause and said, "Tu aur Rohit."

Shehnaaz remembered the day of their date.

"Aaj tum dono ki jagah woh dono khade hai aur meri jagah tu. Zindagi kab kaunsa mod le le we never know. Lekin humein himmat nahi harni chahiye. Aaj humein itna dukh mil raha hai lekin ho sakta hai aage chal kar destiny ne humare liye kuch aur accha plan kar rakha ho. Never think yourself unlucky." Sidharth said.

"Tune sahi kaha Sidharth. But sab kuch jaante hue bhi main kabhi kabhi bohut weak padh jaati hoon. But I promise aage se weak nahi padhungi." Shehnaaz said.

After sometime Sidharth said, "Shehnaaz mujhe bohut bhukh lagi hai yaar. Subah se kuch nahi khaya."

"Haan chal. Ghar chalke breakfast karte hai." Shehnaaz said.

"Arrey mera matlab woh nahi tha. Dekh waha paani puri ki stall hai. Kya bolti hai, ho jaaye?"

"As far I know, Sidharth Shukla doesn't like street foods. Tune hi toh kaha tha uss din."

"Kaha toh tha but ab dekh jaisi sangat waisi rangat. Chal na time waste mat kar." Sidharth said and went to the stall. Shehnaaz laughed and followed him.

They ordered paani puri for themselves.

"Mirchi kitna daalu?" The stall owner asked.

"Mere liye zyada mirchi wala aur inke liye to thoda kam" Shehnaaz said.

"Arrey mere liye kam kyu?" Sidharth asked.

"Tujhe adat nahi hai nah isliye."

"Lekin main khaa sakta hoon. Bhaiya mujhe Madam se bhi zyada mirch dena." Sidharth said.

"Jo tujhe sahi lage."

The stall owner gave them paani puri. After eating one Sidharth started coughing.

"Paani." He said while coughing.

"Bola tha na tu nahi khaa paayega. Ek baat nahi sunta meri. Bhaiya paani mil sakta hai?" Shehnaaz said.

After sometime Shehnaaz made him drink some water and he stopped coughing.

"Baap re baap. Kitna mirch dete ho aap log? Main nahi khaunga ajke baad." Sidharth said.

Looking at his face, Shehnaaz brust itno laughter. Sidharth watched it and he forgot everything. He was adoring her. He felt her smile is the most precious thing in this world.

"Aise hi haasti rehna meri jaan." Sidharth said in his mind.
