It was a dark and stormy night. The air was colder. Perhaps, it was because her body sensed she was close to death. Tears trickled down her cheeks, and heartbreaking sobs escaped her mouth. The height of the building scared her the most, but she was too numb with pain. 

If she screamed from here, would anyone hear her cries? 

The crumbled piece of paper landed on the ground. "Goodbye..." she breathed out. Lifting her weight towards the edge, she let her body fall off the building.

'Trust. Should have learned to trust no one," Was the last thing which flashed through her mind as she approached her death.

Any time now, her body will collide with the ground, making her lifeless. She could hear the loud gushes of wind, telling her it's just a matter of seconds. All of a sudden, everything went quiet around her. The kind of silence that was peaceful. Opening her eyes, she saw a different perspective of the world. The time froze around her, giving chills throughout her body.  She was perplexed by what was happening around her. 

She was floating in the air! Taking a deep breath, she stared at her hands. She tried to move, but she couldn't. Some kind of force was trapping her for sure. She looked around to find the answer to this mystery. It was just her. 

The thunder began to rumble, and a voice accompanied it, "It's not your time yet." 

Turning around, she saw someone staring right at her. 

"Who are you?"
