It was my friends wedding in a resort.The bachelor party is going on when I came outside to attend a call.I finished it and about to go inside when I heard a voice.

Person: Oy!!! Oy!!!

I turned back and my eyes widened seeing her.I was fascinated at her sight.I was just seeing her face and a smile stole my lips.She came near me hurriedly.I was confused that why she was calling me or to say clearly was that me whom she was calling .I stood at my place watching her,

Person: Oyyy!!! Mein aapko hi bula rahi hu.

Karan: Mujhe??? Aap mujhe janthe hai?

Person: Nahi mein nahi janthi aapko,par aap andar jaa rahe honaa?

Karan: Haaa mein andar jaa raha hu.

Person: Thank god mujhe ek favor chahiye.Andar mera friend Vaasu hai.Please tell him to meet me at pool side.I am waiting for him.

Karan: Do you mean Vasu Dev?

Person: Yeah,do you know him?

Karan: Yeah he was my college friend.

Person: Ohh great.Please do me the favor

Karan: Yeah sure.Aapka naam??

Person: Preetha

Karan: Nice name.I will tell him.

Preetha: Thank you,bye.

Before I say something she walked away,

Karan: Bye.(seeing her going) chali gayi.Itni jaldi! Kaun hai ye ladki? Mera naam tak nahi pucha? Dekhna tho padega.....par kaise?(thinks) Yeah dost kis cheez keliye kaam athe hai(he smiles) 

He goes inside & finds Vasu .

Karan: Vasu.. Preetha wait kar rahi hai pool side pe,thumhe bula rahi hai.

Vaasu: Shit! My phone is off and I forgot.Ok karan I am going otherwise she will kill me.Bye!

Before karan says he also goes.

Karan(wondering): Arey, dono mere bolne se  pehle chali gayi.Meri kadar hi nai hai.Vaasu pretha ko kaise janthe hai? 

And I remembered her face & suddenly I wanna speak with my dad so I called him.

Mahesh: Hey,whats up karan? 

Karan: Hey dad,how are you doing?

Mahesh: I am good.What happend? Everything good with you?

Karan: Nahi dad,I am ....I am...I am....

Mahesh: Arey kya hua mere bete ko?

Karan: Dad I remembered your love story.

Mahesh(happily): Tho mere bete ko pyar hogaya haa.

Karan(smiles and remembers her): May be dad may be.I dont know.For the first time,I want to see a girl again and again.I wanna listen her voice again and again.I am crazy about her dad.Just crazy about her.

Mahesh(feeling happy): Acha kaun hai wo ladki?

Karan: Pata nai.

Mahesh: Kya karthi hai?

Karan: Pata nai.

Mahesh: Uska naam tak pata hai or ye bhi nahi pata?

Karan(chuckles): Pata hai dad.....Preetha.

Mahesh: Kitni sundar naam hai....haina?

Karan(feeling about her): Vo bhi utni hi sundar hai.

Mahesh: Ahaaa.....mujhe kab milwa rahe ho?

Karan:Pehle mujhe milne do phir aapko......mein use pehli baar dekha dad yaha.She told me to call someone thayts it.She was gone.

Mahesh: Dont worry my son,she will be there around you.

Karan: Dad...I am confused kya aap bhi isi state mein ho shaadi ke pehle?

Mahesh: Karan,You know that mine is love at first sight.My heart is fixed but mind,no,its the thing which always keeps questions.But I listened to my heart.Mind is used in business whereas love needs heart.Do you know why people say to close your eyes for a bit when its about anything important?

Karan: Because to calm ourselves.

Mahesh: No,that's when we listen to our heart.It shows us the right path even in case of love .So my dear sunny boy,close your eyes and answer my question. Ok

Karan(doubtfully): Ok!

Mahesh: Do you love anyone?

As soon as he heard the question,preetha's face appears to him and he immediately opens his eyes. Mahesh sensed the reason for his silence,

Mahesh: Kisiko dekha?

Karan(unbelievably and stammering) : P...P...Preetha!

Mahesh(happily): Mujhe pata hai. Dekha,thumhara confusion clear hogayi.Meina uska naam hi nahi bataya par uska chehra thumhara saamne aagayi.Isiko kehthe hai....

Karan(curious): K..kya kehthe hai?

Mahesh(silently lauging): Wahi thumhara dil mein chal raha hain.Pucho Pucho mein phone rakhta hu.Ha aur agli baar meri bahu se bath kara do.Bye!

Karan(getting clear of my confusions): I will try dad,bye.

Karan(in mind): Preetha ab tho pakka fix thum hi ho.Bada question ki answer mil gayi.Ab chote chote questions ka answers  dundhna padega.Waise kyun dundhu mere paas tho google hai (thinking about Varun and how he is going to get her details from him,he smiles)

After the call, I didnt like to be in the party so I went to my room and slept thinking about her.At midnight, I got up and I didnt get sleep so  thought to go outside.There was no one out,feeling some peace in the moon light I decided to go for a walk.The path is beautiful with lights present on both the sides,I felt relaxed and somewhere happy.I was having an unknown smile when I heard the same voice.

Person: OY!! OY!!!

For a second I got stiffened,I thought it to be my imagination.But when I heard the voice again I turned around to see her.Yeah she is there for real ,this time walking towards me leisurely.She is beautiful in her white churidaar.I felt as if moon is walking to me.

Preetha: Kya aapko pehle baar bulane par sunahi nahi deta?

Karan(shocked but happy): Aisa baath nahi hai,main kuch aur soch raha hu.

Preetha: Ohhh....waise thank you aap Vasu ko jaldi hi bheja.

Karan: That's ok.Par aap yaha kya raha hai at this time? (without my knowledge I asked question) Kahi boy friend keliye tho nahi wait kar rahe ho?(my heart started beating fast)

Preetha(surprised by that question): What? Nahi nahi!Actually I need to see the decoration for tomorrow's function.Aur main aapko dekha tho main aapko bulaya. Par aap tho kuch aur hi soch raha hai.Waise har baar ladki boy friend keliye nahi apni khud keliye bhi bahar aathi hai.

Karan(mein kuch jyada hi puchaa but ok): Ok I'm sorry. Waise aap wedding planner ho?

Preetha(smiling): Haa wedding planner hu is wedding keliye.

Karan: Nice decorations and you have a very nice choice.(she smiles) Mujhe need nahi aa raha hai isiliye mein bahar thoda ghumne ka soch raha tha if you don't mind kya main bhi aa saktha hu apke saath decorations dekhne ?

Preetha: Yeah.Why not! Chaliye!

And we moved forward to see the decorations.She is saying about lights but I was just seeing her and her expressions,her movement of lips and sometimes hands.Without getting noticed,I looked at moon and wondered,

Karan(mind): Is the moon talking to me? No,moon tho vahi hai.I think it came to me like her to shine me with it's presence.

We reached the area ,few people are working & she guided them. We sat near a bench there with trees surrounding us.I found myself in the air but pretended to be on ground outside.She brought tea for me.While she was coming,it felt like I were the groom came to see my bride.We had our tea and unknowingly we chatted about lot of things.By the time moon was gone, we became friends & we called it a morning.

The next day,I was looking for her.Again, I heard the voice and I knew who it is.As soon as I turned back,she colored me not in her love but in haldi.I narrowed my eyes and started chasing her.Finally I got her through her waist and colored her in haldi through my cheeks.I winked at her and she ran from there.

Night

I am passing through the same way as yesterday and again she bumped into me.

Preetha: Kya fir se need nahi aa rahi?

Karan: Neend tho mere pass aney se hi mana kar rahi hai

Preetha(folding her hands): Acha.. aisa bhi kya kaha neend ko ki muh banakar chali gayi?  

Karan: Maine use kaha mujhe uske saath kisi aur bhi chahiye.Usne aana hein tho kisi aur saath hi aao varna nai.Par neend keh rahi hi kisi aur uski baath hi nai sun rahi hai.Kya kare?

Preetha(confused): Kya? Neend ko ye sab keh rahe ho? Aur kaun chahiye thumhe?

Karan: Mujhe kaun chahiye neend ko pata hai.Thumhe kyun janna ha?

Preetha: Friend haina so .....waise mein jaa rahi hu decorations dekhne mein thum jaao aur neend ke saath gappe maaro.

Karan: Nai nai neend ki kaam mein asan karna hai.So I will come with you.

And I started moving while preetha stood there at her place.I turned back,

Karan: Kya meri neend ki awaz sun rahi ho?

Preetha(with widened eyes): You are crazy

Karan(mind): Maybe!

Karan: Thanks for the information.Shall we go?

With a heavy sigh,she came behind me.Again we sat there.She is speaking about something but I am in my thoughts.My heart is saying to tell her what I feel but mind is warning me what if it creates a ruckus.

Preetha: Oyy!!! 

And suddenly I came back to this world,

Preetha: Uffo...kis duniya mein ho thum?

Karan: Isi duniya mein hu aur kya hounga?

Preetha: Oyy thum jhut bol rahe ho.Mein bahut der se thumhe bula rahi hu.Thumhe suna di nai de rai.

Karan: Waise thum mujhe har baar Oy kyun bulathe ho?

Preetha(realising it): ahh....mujhe acha lagtha hai aur man kartha hai.Kyun thumhe pasand nayi aayi?

Karan: Pasand? Jab bhi thum aise bulathe ho na mein fida hojaunga.Aisa lagtha hai ki meri duniya ruk gayi hai.

Preetha: Kyun?

Karan: Because jab bhi mein aisa suntha hu thumhari muh se....man kartha hai jaha pe bhi hu bas thumhare paas ana chahiye.Preetha I like you.I am not a guy who have different feelings inside and pretend there is nothing infront of the girl.I wanna be straight.I like you.(taking her hands into mine) I am a person who shines everyday and I need some serenity. I am tired of shining.I felt it when I first saw you .If I am the sun I want you to be my moon.Without you I am incomplete.(I knelt down while she was sitting)

Karan: I know what you might be feeling right now.Its too early to tell you.But,I believe life gives us a single chance to choose our soulmates.And I choose you.(raising my hand up) Will you be my moon?Will I  be your OY?

I expressed and bowed myself infront of her.The words directly came from my heart.I looked into her eyes.She is surprised,confused.She stood and went from there without speaking a word.I waited hoping that she would come back.But she went beyond my sight.

Then my phone started ringing.
