"You should go see him."

"What?"

Angelica and Drista stared at the sky, the two laying on top of a blanket in the backyard. It was currently Sunday and Angelica needed to drop off Drista at her home in a couple of hours. The two were just on the ground and it was sprinkling, so, they enjoyed the rain on their face as best as they could.

"You've been thinking about him," Drista shrugged as if she just didn't suggest the most nerve-wracking thing. "He's been thinking about you, too. From what you told me, yes, you have insecurities, but, you're working through them and you're getting better slowly and slowly. Just talk with my brother and I'm sure he'll reveal to you his own fears."

Angelica stared at the teenaged girl and blinked. "Are youngsters like you this wise?" Drista snorted and chuckled. "I'm being serious! Holy shit. You're better than my own friends... Don't tell them I said that!"

"Wow, that is an honor since you do have amazing friends," Drista nodded before making a face at realizing something. "Well, you're friends with George, Sapnap, and Tommy. Tell them that I'm better than them."

Angelica shook her head at the girl, a smile on her face. She looked back at the gloomy sky which was brightening, the sun peaking out bit by bit. She sighed.

Drista was right. She should go visit him and talk to him. She wanted to see him and that was what Dream was thinking, too.

He stared at the door of his front house, pacing while his eyebrows were furrowed together.

Would Angelica even want to see him? She probably still hated him for kissing her. She probably didn't want to see him and he's just telling himself she would be happy when she wouldn't. God, what if she kicks him out? What if she doesn't even look at him? He wants to see her eyes. The ones that despite having tears on them would try to make him laugh.

He wanted to see her and he needed to stop letting his brain tell him crap that aren't even true.

"You need to stop fucking listening to that stupid head of yours and focus on what your heart tells you..."

Dream has been having George's words stuck in his head ever since he spoke to him a couple weeks ago. It's been almost a month, a month, since he and Angelica haven't spoken and he hated it. He hated it. He should've just said something and been upfront about his feelings but he was scared. He was scared that as soon as he would open up to her, Angelica would be able to see that he was a mess.

"Should I go, Patches?"

Dream looked at his cat who was by the window just like she has been for a month now. It's been a habit of hers to stand by the window as if waiting for Angelica and Gumbo to come back. Much like her owner, the cat missed them, too.

"Yeah," Dream nodded, grabbing his keys. He quickly put on his shoes and jacket, glancing at Patches. "I'll bring them back. Don't worry."

He quickly walked out of his home, cursing the gloomy sky. He shook his head and immediately got inside the car. Just as he was about to drive off, he stopped and groaned.

"I don't know the address."

As Dream dealt with that problem and texted his younger sister, Drista his her phone away from the girl staring at the sky. She glanced at the message and smiled before glancing at the girl who was smiling a little, unknowingly.

"So, what are you thinking about?" Drista asked as she texted her brother the address, getting a happy message back that it was close by, maybe 5 to 10 minutes.

"You're right," Angelica nodded, feeling her eyes burn with tears. "Dammit. I'm over here fucking crying because you're right. I should talk with him. I should stop running away from my feelings, too."

Drista smiled a little, buzzing with excitement, though, she didn't let it show. She couldn't. Not when her brother was coming here and finally talking with her. God, she really felt like she was watching a rom-com right in front of her. She needed to tell her mom what was happening.

"You know," Angelica started, "I thought I never deserved to be in some type of relationship, but for the first I had hope. I had hope that I could at least be happy. If it wasn't with your brother, it would've been okay. He at least showed me in a way that it's okay to be scared, but he also showed me to run away."

She laughed at the end of her sentence, clearly saying it in a teasing way and not in a serious one. Drista could only smile, counting down the minutes. She quickly texted her brother that she would unlock the door and stood up as soon as she sent it.

"I need to go to the bathroom real quick," Drista told her when she saw that Angelica was staring at her. "My stomach's hurting."

Angelica nodded and looked back at the sky, furrowing her eyebrows at the sun that was fully coming out, hiding behind a dark cloud that was fading away.

Drista immediately headed towards the front door, smiling sheepishly when Miss Maira looked at her with a confused look.

"You know the guy that Angelica has been crying about?" Miss Maira nodded as she stepped closer to hear since the girl was whispering. "He's my brother and he texted me that he basically wants to make things better between them."

"Your brother hurt my V?" Drista nodded, smirking at the way the older woman scoffed. "That man will get an earful from me."

"Please do so I can record it," Drista chuckled. "Anyway, I told her I was going to the bathroom, but I'm going to unlock the door and I'm going to wait for him."

"Okay, I'll make sure V doesn't come over here then."

"Thanks, Miss Maira."

Drista immediately headed towards the front door and unlocked it as quietly as she could, scared that the sound could be heard from outside. She opened the door and waited outside, eyeing her phone to make sure she wasn't gone for too long, knowing Angelica would find it weird if she lasted long in the bathroom.

Just as 6 minutes passed, Drista could see her brother running down the street, looking around before spotting her.

"There was no parking so I had to park down there," he breathed out, gesturing to where he parked his car. He turned to look at hi sister. "Where is she?"

"In the back?"

"Staring at the sky?"

Drista nodded and Dream nodded, getting inside the home. Drista led her towards the backyard and Dream waved and smiled politely at seeing Miss Maira by the kitchen.

"She's there."

Dream felt his heart quicken at the sight of her and because it finally set in his brain that she was there. That she was a couple of feet away with her eyes closed and enjoying the small droplets dropping on her.

Dream slid the door open and walked towards the door, thankful that Angelica didn't open her eyes. Hell, he would be embarrassed as hell if he confessed and she was asleep.

He laid down next to her, being careful not to touch her and stared at the sky, too. He smiled a little, just like old times.

Angelica was in her whole world, but she could feel a strong pull in her chest. She could smell a different, recognizable smell, and she turned to look at where Drista was last at.

"Dream?"

"Hi."
