So a year before Jake arrived. The sky people thought they should reach out to the water tribes Na'vi as well. See if there was Unobtanium under the sea. So created Elena's avatar. The first and only avatar made with the DNA of the water na'vi.

Unlike the avatars made with the forest na'vi DNA. Elena's had three fingers and not four. But she did have five toes. She also possess eyebrows, though her eyes are slightly smaller then those of the Metkayina clan. Her queue of an avatar starts at the base of the skull, whereas a Na'vi queue starts at the top of the skull.

Anyway Elena was a marine biologist and xenolinguist. But like Jake Sully after her. She fell in love with a Na'vi and the way of life. In the way the Metkayina live. Her main reason for leaving her human life behind though. Was her mate Ahadi, the chief of the Metkayina's brother and head warrior.

So Elena meet Ahadi in her human body and allowed him to take her away. They went to the Cove of the Ancestors. Where they were meet by the Metkayina tride. Where Elena went hrough a consciousness transfer. Leaving her human body behind for good. Her human body was laid to rest and she began to train seriously. So that she wouldn't be useless to her new tribe.

Elena's POV

"Are you ok Elena?" Ahadi asks me concerned.

"I'm nervous" I admit.

"Why?" he asks me confused.

"The tulkun return soon and what if none choose me?" I ask him concerned. "Then I'll never be a true Metkayina" I say sadly. Lowering my head.

"Hey, none of that" he says raising my head. Looking me in the eye. "You have come so far and you will be one of the people. I promise" he assures me. I smile and hug him.

"How did I get such an amazing future mate?" I ask him and he smirks. Wrapping his arms around me. We haven't mated yet. As I am still not a woman of the tribe yet. But if I bond with a Tulkun, I will be. Then he and I can finally mate before Ewya. And become mates for life.

"I should ask Ewya that" he tells me. We hear a horn and he smiles. "The Tulkun have returned" he states. "Come, I'll introduce you to my spirit brother" he says leading me to the water. I look at the tulkun in awe as they sky hop in joy. "Come on!" Ahadi cheers and dives into the water.

I smile and follow. He grabs my hand and leads me towards the tulkun. He points out one of the bulls and signals that it's his spirit brother. We swim over to him. Ahadi introduces us. Just as a young cow swims over. She nuzzles Ahadi's spirit brother happily.

'They are mates' Ahadi signals to me and I nod my head. 'She is Luna' he signals as she swims over to me. I look into her eyes and feel connect.

'Hello, I am Elena' I signal to her.

'Nice to meet you Elena' she says and I smile. 'Swim with me?' she asks and I nod my head. We start to swim together. It was amazing. We did flips and circles around each other. Like a dance under water. As she sings.

'Where is you spirit sister?' I ask her curious as we head towards the bottom of the reef.

'I have no spirit sister yet' she tells me. 'My sister Roa is spirit sister of Rona' she states.

'Wow' I say and she laughs.

'What of you?' she asks me.

'I am new to the tribe, I am sure you have noticed I am different from others' I say. She nods. 'I was a sky person, a demon. Until Ahadi and the Metkayina showed me the light. I transferred my conscious into this body, leaving my human life behind' I explain.

'It must of been hard' she says sympathetically.

'It was, but I do not regret it' I tell her. 'I love the Metkayina and being apart of the tribe. Though fear I will never become a true Metkayina' I state.

'Because you have no spirit sister?' she asks and I nod. 'I trust you and we are friends' she tells me. I smile.

'I trust you too' I tell her. She opens her mouth wide and I look at her shocked. She wanted to bond with me. 'Are you sure?' I ask and she nods. I take a deep breath and enter her mouth. She closes it behind me. She offers me her internal neural queue. When I connect mine to it, I see her memories and she sees mine.

When we disconnect, I exit her mouth and hug her. 'Thank you, my sister' I say. The tribe cheer and welcome us happily. We celebrate me finding my spirit sister and becoming a true Metkayine woman. We spend all day in the water with the Tulkun. Until getting out for dinner.

A few days later. Ahadi took me to the Cove of the Anscetors. Where we became mates for life bef Ewya. In front of the Spirit Tree. Though it'd be many years before I had our first child, Rotxo. Then another fourteen before their daughter Nira. A few month after Jake Sully appeared with his family requesting sanctuary.
