Attina was the first successful Avatar Driver, 21 years ago. After that the Avatar Program was created and other Avatars were created. Though it took them nearly six years to grow. Grace was among the first group of Avatars. During that time Attina spoke to the Omaticaya and was the first sky person to make contact with them. At first, the Na'vi didn't know how to react to the Avatars. Some called them demons. But most adapted to it.

Silas a healer was instructed to teach Attina the ways of his tribe. They fell in love. Some were against their mating. But they ignored them. In time Attina left her human body behind for good. Along with her old life among humans. Though she did help Grace run the school. When the attack happened the Omaticaya cut ties with the Sky People and they were forbidden to come to Home Tree or onto Omaicaya land.

Attina was sad at first. Sure she had the kids that still wanted to learn and she taught them. But her life lacked purpose. But that changed when she became pregnant with her and Silas' first child. They were unsure if an avatar would be able to reproduce. So were over joyed by the pregnancy. On the third of May 2154 Attina gave birth to a son, they named him Gale. As he brought them great joy.

Anyway this story begins with the arrival of Jake Sully at home tree. How will his arrival affect Attina and her small family? There will be bonus chapters of Attina's life before Jake's arrival. After the story is completed.

Attina's POV

"How's our little warrior today?" Silas asked me when he got home

"Perfect" I tell him and he chuckles kissing my forehead as I nurse our nearly 3 week year old son. "How was your day?" I ask him curious.

"Uneventful, though there was a rumor of new sky people arriving" he states as she sits down beside me.

"Great" I grumble as I burp our son. It'd been two years since the attack at the school. We've had no contact with the sky people. Though we do track them and watch them closely.

"Perhaps your nephew has arrived" Silas tells me.

"That life is over, Athena Sully died 11 years ago. There is only Attina, wife of Silas and mother of Gale" I tell him.

"And the Omaticaya's most loved teacher" he says holding me close. I smile and lean into him.

"Besides I doubt he'd remember me even if we did meet. I left for Pandora when he and his brother were only two. Their mother kicked me out when I told her I'd be coming here" I state.

"Her lose" he states.

"Oi love birds, dinner time!" Silas' little sister Peyral calls. She is one of the tribes best huntresses. She and Silas are the last of their family. She didn't like me at first, but she now sees me as a sister.

"I see you sister" Silas says with a smile.

"He means, we see you" I state as she takes Gale for a hug. She adores her nephew. She only recently became a woman of the tribe. She had many admirers, but is not yet ready to choose a mate. Gale coos happily at the sight of his aunt.

"I see you" she tells us. We join the tribe around the fire. We start to eat the fresh kill from today. "So what are your plans tomorrow?" she asks us.

"I was going to take Ava for a fly, haven't done it in ages" I tell her. "Think you could look after Gale for a few hours?" I ask her.

"It'd be my pleasure" she tells me.

"I have a day off tomorrow, but have to go restock on healing herbs" Silas states. He is the tribes head healer. When we first meet, he was asked to exam me as they'd never seen an avatar before. Needless to say, it was a little embarrassing for me the time. But I got over it. Especially when he became my teacher.

We are joined by Mo'at. We greet her. "How is Gale today?" she asks me. With him being the first avatar/na'vi baby. She had a keen interest in his development, which Silas documents very closely.

"He is feeding well and grows stronger everyday, I am truly blessed that Ewya gave me such joy" I tell her. As she takes a sleeping Gale into her arms.

"He'll become a fine warrior one day" she tells me.

"We'll support him no matter what path he chooses" I tell her. Silas nods his head in agreement. We both became part of the people, completing Iknimaya and Uniltaron. We each have an ikran and share a pa'li. We hunt for the clean when needed and even go on patrol. It may not be our profession, but everyone does it.

"Someone wishes to arrange a union between your son and their daughter" she tells me. I share a look with Silas.

"We are honoured Tsahik, but we can not accept" Silas tells her.

"We mean no disrespect, but we want our son to find love as we did. Along with any future children Ewya may bless us with. We'd be happy to allow our son to meet the daughter and have them play & grow up together. But it'll be their decision if they wish to become mates in future" I explain.

"Of course, I understand and will let the family know" she assures us.

"How are things with Neytiri and Tsu'tey?" I ask curious. Originally Tsu'tey was to mate with Sylwanin, Neytiri's older sister. As he was Eytukan's chosen successor and would one day lead the tribe with her. Though it was arranged, the pair loved each other. But Sylwanin died two years ago in the attack at the school. Due to her untimely death, the role fell to Neytiri to mate with Tsu'tey and become the next Tsahik. Mo'at has been training her for the last two years for her future role.

"They respect and care about each other deeply. They will do what is right for the tribe" she states. Before leaving us. We decide to retire for the night and went to our family's hammock, called a swaynivi . Which fit us and our son comfortably. And would continue to do so until he was old enough for one of his own.

Silas and I laid either side of our sleeping son. Silas' arms wrapped protectively around us. He drifted off to sleep as I thought of the new sky people that had arrived. Before the attack on the school. Grace had told me that my nephew Tom Sully would be coming to Pandora. I was happy for him. But I think something happened to him, Grace had been nervous and quiet about him for nearly a year before the attack. Which was strange, as she was really excited for him to come. As he was the top of his class. I was going to ask her what was wrong, but the attack happened. And I haven't seen her since.

I push the issue from my mind. I hold Gale close as I closed my eyes and went to sleep. Dreaming about having more children in future.
