Sofiya Petrova, aka Sophie Pierce is the younger sister of Katherine Pierce. Aka Katerina Petrova. Her life was perfect. She had a loving mother and father. An amazing older sister who she looked up too. But that all changed when Katherine got pregnant out of wedlock in 1490. Sofiya was 15 and her sister sixteen. The baby was put up for adoption and Katerina was kicked out of Bulgaria. Sofiya's life from then on was horrible. She was never allowed outside the house and was not allowed to find love.

But then two years later on her seventeenth birthday. Her family were having dinner when a man appeared. His name was Niklaus Mikaelson. He killed them all because of Katherine. Or so he thought. Sofiya was still alive when Katerina found. Katherine tried to save her sister with her blood. But she died with it in her system.

When she woke, Katherine made her complete her transition and explained everything. With her heightened her emotion, Sofiya became very angry at her sister. She vowed to make her eternal life miserable like Damon did Stefan in the beginning. Before disappearing.

Of course, she was never far away and whenever Katherine appeared happy. Sofiya arrived to make her life miserable. The last time they saw each other was in 1864. Where Sofiya took the name Sophie Pierce and constantly made life hard for her sister.

But when she realized that their secret was at risked. She warned her sister with Pearl. But Katherine would not listen. So Sofiya made a plan to save Katherine. She made a deal with George Lockwood in exchange for the moonstone. Which she stole from her sister.

It's now the year 2010 and the Petrova sisters are back in Mystic Falls. Katherine wanting to gather the ingredients to break a curse. So that she can bargain with Klaus for her freedom. Sophie there to make it difficult for her by teaming up with the Salvatores. Let the story of the Petrova Sisters begin.

Sophie's POV

I arrive in Mystic Falls the night of a Masquerade Ball. I smile, time to cause my sister some trouble. I had a witch friend put a spell on the tomb. To prevent vampires from exiting it. I plan on putting Katherine in there. I know I saved her in 1864, but she's been causing a lot of mischief.

I run to the Salvatore house and go to the parlor to see the brothers. "Hello boys, hear you have a Katherine problem" I say smirking.

"Sophie" Stefan says shocked.

"In the flesh" I say smirking.

"Why should we trust you?" Damon asks me.

"Katherine ruined my life in 1492, then when I saved her in 1864. She didn't even thank me, so she will pay by spending a few decades in that tomb" I state.

"Sorry, we plan on killing her" Damon tells me.

"Afraid, I won't let that happen. I may not like my sister, but I don't want her dead. You can hurt her, by no killing her. Or I'll kill that Elena girl you both love so much" I tell them smirking. They rush me and I pin them both. "I have over 350 years on you both, now follow my rules or Elena dies" I tell them firmly. "Oh and I'll be taking that Moonstone" I add.

I throw them across the room. "See you at the masquerade ball" I tell them. Before leaving to go get ready. I put on a dark blue dress with matching mask and heels. Before going to the Lockwood Mansion.

"Hey, welcome. Tyler Lockwood" the teenage boy at the door says kissing my hand.

"Sophie, I was invited by Elena Gilbert. I'm her pen pal" I tell him.

"Elena just arrived, come on in" he tells me. I enter the house smiling.

"You have a beautiful Mr Lockwood" I tell him.

"Please call me Tyler" he tells me with a smile. "If you find me later, I'll give you a private tour" he tells me smirking.

"Maybe I'll take you up on that" I say smiling seductively. Before heading to the party. I soon spot Katherine and smirk. "Hello sister" I say lowly.

"Sofiya" she says shocked.

"Amazing party, the last masquerade ball I went to was the 1920s" I state looking at all the humans. "Who to eat first" I muse.

"I'm here on business Sofiya" she tells me.

"Oh I know big sister and I'd be happy to help. If you apologized for 1492 and thanked me for saving you in 1864" I tell her. "But we both know you won't" I state. "I do hope you get the stone tonight, I'd love to steal it from you again" I tell her.

"I gave you a second chance at life, why do you have me so much?" she asks me. I give her a look. "Just promised me you won't interfere tonight" she tells me.

"I won't, unless the Salvatores try to kill you. Like they want too. I may not like you, but I don't wish you dead sister and will always be there to protect you" I tell her.

"As I will always be there for you" she tells me. I give her a small smile. Just then a young teenage boy appears.

"Hey sorry, could I talk to my sister?" he asks us. I look at Katherine and she gives me a look. I nod my head and leave the pair. But eavesdrop.

"What is it Jeremy?" Katherine asks him.

"I have a message from Stefan" he tells her. "He and Damon want you to meet them at the edge of the lake by the woods. They brought the moonstone" he states.

"And why are you their little messenger?" Katherine asks him.

"Because they know I'm not afraid of you" he tells her.

"Hmm, you Gilbert men, so courageous. How's John by the way? Were they able to sew his fingers back on?" she asks him smirking. She strokes his tie, looks at him and leaves. Jeremy stats texting someone. No doubt one of the Salvatores.

I follow their scent upstairs and wait in the shadows. Soon Katherine appears holding a blonde vampire by her hair. "Why do you keep dragging me into this? I don't want any part of it" the blonde cries.

"Shut up!" Katherine snaps at her. They are in front of a door. "Which room is it?" she demands.

"It's that one" the blonde says nodding to the door in front of them. Katherine lets her go and enters the room. The blonde's sobbing turns into a chuckle. "I did it! I really didn't think that I'd be able to fool you but I did it!" she cheers.

Katherine rushes over but she can't leave the room. She's trapped. Clever. "What the...? Stefan?" she says turning to face him. As he says hello to her.

"Good bye Katherine" the blonde says before leaving.

"You don't really think that you can kill me with that now, do you?" Katherine asks Stefan.

"No, but he can" he states. I hear an air gun fire and Katherine gasp in pain. I head to the door way to watch. I notice a stake in her back. Stefan rushes over to Katherine and drives the stake through her arm. Katherine tries to stake Damon but Stefan grabs her by behind, fall on the floor with her and choke her from behind. She can't move. Damon rushes over and is about to kill her.

I rush forward and push him away from her. "Now boys, you know my role no killing my sister" I sneer. Just then the teenage boy from earlier appears.

"Stop! You're hurting Elena! Everything you're doing to her is hurting Elena!" he shouts. Katherine smiles as Stefan releases her and she gets up. Coming to stand beside me.

"You think you two are the only ones with a witch on your side? Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than your witch" she brags. She takes the stake from Damon's hands.

"Jeremy, go check on Elena. Make sure she's okay. Go" Stefan instructs and he left.

"Let's all make sure poor Elena is okay. Just a little bit more pressure" Katherine says and goes to stab her hand. I snatch the stake away.

"You've had your fun Katerina, sit down" I tell her.

"I'm the older sister, you can't tell me what to do" she tells me.

"Want a bet?" I ask her smirking.

"Fine, your no fun" she grumbles. "Now about that moonstone" she says to the Salvatores as she sits on the couch. "The three of us together just like old times. The brother who loved me too much and the one that didn't love me enough" she says.

"And the evil slut vampire who only loved herself" Damon says.

"True, but she cared enough not to let me die. That's something" I state as I lean against the wall. "Now where's the moonstone?" I ask the Salvatores.

"What do you both want with it?" Stefan asks us.

"I'll never tell" I say smirking.

"Does Elena enjoy having both of you worship at her alter?" Katherine asks changing the subject. Stefan looks at Damon and then looks at her.

"That was really desperate, Katherine. Don't you think that we can see right through you?" Stefan asks her.

"So it doesn't bother you that Damon's in love with your girlfriend?" I ask him.

"Not you too" he groans. "Stop it" he tells us.

"Or what?" we ask smirking.

"You'll hurt me?" Katherine asks smirking wider as she gets to her feet. "Come on, Stefan. Everything that I feel, Elena feels, so go ahead" she taunts him. Then looks at Damon. "Or better yet, kiss me Damon. She'll feel that too" she states.

"God, no wonder you got pregnant" I mutter and she gives me a look. I just shrug.

"You know, this whole Mason thing has me a bit confused. Why a werewolf? The moonstone can break a curse that would help them destroy all vampires so what's in that for you?" Stefan asks Katherine.

"You dated a werewolf?" I ask her and she nods her head. "Was he good in bed?" I ask.

"Now who's being horny" she teases.

"At least I only ever date one guy, I don't toy with multiple. In fact I have a boyfriend, dated him for nearly a century. Well not dated, but we have been loyal to each other" I state.

"How come I haven't heard of him?" she asks me.

"Because I don't want you to meet him" I tell her. "You'll try steal him from me, like some of my other past boyfriends" I state. Just then a witch appeared holding the moonstone.

"Katherine, the spell on this room has been broken, you're free to leave" she states. I exit the room and wait outside as Katherine approached her witch. "When I hand this over my debt to you is over" she says.

"Done" Katherine says.

"I owe you nothing" the witch says.

"I said done. Give it" Katherine says annoyed. She gives her the moonstone. When Katherine touches it, she can't breathe.

"You should have told me another witch was involved. She's a Bennett witch, Katherine, but I'm sure you knew that" the witch says.

"Wait, Elena" Stefan says concerned.

"Elena's fine" the witch assures him as Katherine falls to the floor. "The spell is broken. She'll heal quickly, Bonnie's with her" she states. "I apologize for my involvement" she says before leaving. Katherine is unconscious.

"Well, see you later boys" I say. I grab Katherine and the stone and leave. I take Katherine to the tomb and dump her inside with the stone. "Hope you enjoy your new home for the next several decades. Don't worry, I'll visit" I tell my unconscious sister. "See you in the morning" I say before leaving and go to an apartment where my witch is.

"Come in" she says and I enter.

"Thank you, you may leave now. We're square" I tell her.

"You are welcome Sophie, now this apartment is in my name. If you wish for a vampire to be allowed in. You need only call, let me know when you're done with it" she tells me.

"Will do" I assure her. She then left. I grab a blood bag from the fridge and drink it. Before getting ready for bed and calling it a night.
