Uma Manning, was a normal girl with a normal life. She had two loving parents. But that all changed three years ago when they decided to go visit her father's old army ranger friend in Jasper Nevada. But something happened, Uma can't really remember the details. But there was an accident and her parents died. She managed to survive some how and was found by Cliffjumper & Arcee as they were looking for Optimus Prime & his team. They couldn't leave the young girl all alone, so took her with them.

Then she meet the other autobots and the friend her family had gone to meet. Agent William Fowler.  She has been living at the Autobot base ever since. Going to school in Jasper Nevada. She keeps to herself at school, but there are a few people she talks too. Raf about school work, Miko about art and Jack. Her first friend in Jasper and someone she has a major crush on. Though Jack has a crush on a girl called Sierra.

Anyway, this story starts when Jack, Miko and Raf meet the autobots. And discover Uma has been living with them for three years and never told them. Lets find out how Uma fits into Transformers Prime series and see if she can ever tell Jack about her feelings.

Uma's POV

Hi everyone I am Uma Manning, but you probably already know that. So I am fourteen going on fifteen, in fact my birthday falls on the day of the planetary alignment. How cool is that? Anyway I go to school in Jasper, Nevada. I live in an old missile silo with alien robots called autobots from Cybertron.

I would live with my dad's old military friend Agent William Fowler, but he travels a lot. And since I knew about the bots as they found me three years ago after my parents died. I had been living with them for over a week before Fowler found out and I was already settled. So he trusted the bots to take care of me. I'm closest to Cliffjumper and Arcee. As they found me three years ago after the accident that called my parents. I don't really remember what happened during the accident, I only know my parents are dead.

I am a bit of a nerd. At least when it comes to building things. Like bombs or guns. Hell I can even shot. I know Cybertronian and a bit about the planet's history. But I suck at math or computer codes. I keep a journal and have done since the death of my parents. It helps me process my feelings. I'm closest to Cliffjumper and Arcee as they were the ones who found me after my parents died. They had only just arrived on Earth to join up with team Prime.

I don't have much of a social life outside of school. I don't have any real close human friends I hang out with on weekends. I sometimes go to Raf's to study or we meet up at the library. Miko and I sometimes chill at the KO Burger discussing music and art. Well she talks about it I just watch Jack work. You see I've had a crush on him ever since we meet. He was the one who showed me around school and was my first human friend. I haven't worked up the courage to tell him yet.

Anyway, I am at the base alone tinkering with a new bomb idea. While all the autobots are on patrol. Most are in Nevada, except for Cliffjumper. "Arcee to Optimus, the Cons are back! Cliff might be neck-deep in scrap!" Arcee says over the comms. I frown looking up at the computer.

"Understood" Optimus tells her. "Uma, do you have Cliffjumper's coordinates?" he asks me. I head over to the computer.

"Sure do" I tell him.

"But our team's scattered across time zones" Ratchet adds as he joining the conversation.

"Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee. Rendezvous back at base prepare to ground bridge" Optimus orders.

"I'll bridge Ratchet back" I tell him. I bridge Ratchet back. Then I go back to my project as he waits for the others to return. He has the coordinates set for the ground bridge to activate on their arrival. So that they can go help Cliffjumper. They soon arrive and all ground bridge to Cliffjumper's coordinates, leaving me in charge of the base again. I sigh, guess I'll work on my bomb later, I put it in a box and shove it into a chest draw. Before going over to the computer.

They were to late and Cliffjumper died. Now we're all on top of the base having a burial for the only piece of him they found. One of his horns. I cry silently. "We must not allow our anger over the lost of Cliffjumper to impair our judgement. As of today Only we five Autobots remain on this Earth. We owe it to ourselves to the memory of Cybertron, to any Autobots in any Galaxies seeking safe harbour, to humankind" Optimus says looking at us all. "And we owe it to the memory of our fallen comrade to survive" Optimus adds. "Arcee?" he asks.

"If Cliff's gone standing around here sulking won't bring him back. So unless anyone minds I think I'll get back to protecting humankind" Arcee states. I run over as she transforms and I hope on. I hold on tight as she takes off. "I don't want company Uma" she tells me.

"I know" I say. "But you aren't the only one who lost Cliff and I think a drive would do us both some good" I tell her. She sighs and just continues to drive towards Jasper. We both remain silent as we drive to Jasper and just drive around town in silence.

Arcee soon mumbles something under her breath. "Did you say something?" I ask her curious.

"No, you hungry?" she asks pulling into KO Burger.

"I guess, lucky I have some cash on me" I tell her. As she parks and I hope off. "I'll be right back" I tell her.

"Take your time, I'm just got to check something out. Who knows maybe Jack is working today" she says in a teasing tone. I blush and go inside.

"Hi Uma" Jack says happily from behind the counter.

"Hey Jack, can I have my usual?" I ask him.

"Sure, I'll just put it in" he tells me. "I'm about to clock off" he adds.

"Oh did you want to hang out?" I ask him hopeful.

"Nah I should get home, you know how my mum gets if I'm out after sunset" he states. I sigh sadly. "But I'll see you at school tomorrow" he assures me.

"Yeah sure" I say handing him the money for the food. He hands me my change and goes to clock out. While I sit at the counter waiting for my order. As I watch Jack leave, I hear his phone ring. Most likely his mum. I miss when my parents used to do that when I'd spend to much time out at the park at my old home in Napa, California.

My order is served and I eat it silently. Thinking about Jack. But also about Arcee's weird behaviour. After put my trash in the bin, I go outside only to see no Arcee and frown in confusion. I take out my mobile phone and call her comm-link. "A little busy" she tells me.

"Where are you?" I ask her.

"I'll get you soon, just got a little problem to deal with. Stay at the restaurant" she tells me and hangs up. Rude. I wonder what trouble could be happening here in Jasper, Nevada. I lean against the wall and wait. When Arcee finally appeared I noticed some dents and scratches.

"What happened?" I ask her concerned as I hop on. She sets off for base.

"Cons, two of them. Don't worry we dealt with them, but Jack saw us" she states.

"Is he ok?" I ask her.

"Shaken, but alive" she states. "Though I'll have to report it to Optimus" she tells me. "He'll decide what to do" she adds. We arrive back at base and I hope off of her. I head to the platform deciding to do homework. While she and Bumblebee report to Optimus.

"And the Cons would have been scrap metal if I hadn't been distracted by the human boy" Arcee states.

"Human boy?" Optimus asks.

"Two" Bee buzzes. I didn't understand him when we first meet. But over the last three years, I've started to figure out what he is saying. Though I don't understand him all the time.

"Two boys?" Optimus asks.

"I guess a second one caught us in action, I don't know. I was a little busy at the time" Arcee states.

"Where was Uma during this?" Optimus asks.

"I was at the KO Burger eating, Arcee left me there while she dealt with cons" I tell him. "Which she didn't tell me about when she dropped me off" I add.

"If the Decepticons are targeting us. Anyone perceived as our ally, will be at grave risk" Optimus states. "Bumblebee, Arcee you will go collect the boys tomorrow from school along with Uma" he orders. Arcee sighs and Bee nods his helm in agreement.

(Time skip)

Bumblebee picked up Raf and I. While Arcee got Jack. Raf was surprised to see me inside Bee. I told him along the way how I live at the base. While telling him a little bit about the other autobots. Their names and team rules. When we arrive at base, we get out of Bee as Arcee arrives with Jack and Miko.

"Uma, you're here to?" Jack asks shocked.

"I live here" I tell him with a shrug.

"Wow" Miko says and runs over to Bulkhead. Introducing herself and asking who he is. He tells her his name. "Are you a car? I bet you're a truck, a monster truck! Do you like heavy metal? How much do you weigh? Ever used a wrecking ball for a punching bag?" she asks him.

"So if you guys are robots, who made you?" Raf asks.

"Oh, please" Ratchet grumbles.

"We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron. Also known as Autobots" Optimus states as he enters the room.

"Why are you here?" Jack asks him.

"To protect your planet, from the Decepticons" Optimus answers.

"The jokers who tried to bump us off last night" Arcee tells Jack.

"Okay. Why are they here?" Jack asks.

"A fair question, Jack. In part they are here because our planet is uninhabitable. Ravaged by centuries of civil war" Optimus explains.

"Why were you fighting a war?" Raf asks.

"For most, over control of our world supply of energon. The fuel and life-blood of all Autobots and Decepticons alike. The combat was fierce and endured for centuries. In the beginning I fought alongside one who I considered a brother. But in war, ideals can be corrupted. And it was thus that Megatron lost his way" Optimus explains.

"Is there gonna be a quiz?" Miko asks while playing with her pony tail.

"So what is Megatron or any of these have to do with us?" Jack asks Optimus.

"Megatron has not been seen or heard from in sometime. But if his return is imminent as I fear, it could be a catastrophic" Optimus states. "Anyone seen as our ally would be in danger" he adds.
