Lola Esquivel is Raf's cousin. They hadn't seen each other in six years. When they were seven and six. Now Lola is Thirteen and Raf is twelve. Lola's parents died and her aunt & uncle (Raf's parents) take her in. It was a big change for Lola, going from being an only child to living with just her two parents. To living in a house with seven people. Though she was looking forward to seeing her favourite cousin Raf. But things don't turn out as expected, thanks to her getting kidnapped by the decepticons and being turned into a sparkling by their resident mad scientist Shockwave.

The events of this story take place after Shockwave's arrival on Earth in season 3 of Transformers Prime. After the return of Optimus and the destruction of Darkmount. Shockwave had many experiments and one of them was attempting to transfer the conscious mind of an organic into a Cybertronian body. But first he needed test subjects and Knockout believed he found the perfect specimen for Shockwave. Lola Maria Esquivel.

Lola's POV

I sigh as I look out the window of the classroom trying figure out when Raf and I got so distant. We used to be very close until my family and I moved to Orlando. But ever since I moved in with him and his family. He has been distant. He is never home and always at some science fiction club. I don't know why he won't let me go with him. He knows how much I love science, but apparently girls aren't allowed. Which is strange as I am sure I saw a girl hope into a big green car which followed the car Raf gets in at the end of school. The same girl he shares lunch with aside from a sixteen year old boy.

When ever I'd join them for lunch, they'd go silent. Raf introduced me to them. Their names are Jack and Miko. I don't get how they are friends, they don't seem to have anything in common. Jack is the golden boy, studies hard and never gets into trouble. Miko seems to always get into trouble and is almost always in detention. Raf gets As and loves learning new things. It's weird. And whenever I ask how they all meet, they avoid the subject. They are all keeping a secret.

I get a text, it's from my aunt. She won't be able to pick me up today. I sigh, maybe I can get Raf's friend to drop me off on the way to their club. The bell rings and I go to lunch. Only to see no Raf or his friends. I frown in confusion and try calling Raf. But it goes to voice mail.

"Raf, it's your cousin. Your mum can't pick me up after school and I don't really want to walk home. I was hoping your friend could give me a lift, please call me or text me" I tell him. Before hanging up and sigh. Why would he leave and not tell me? What happened to us? We used to do everything together six years ago.

(Outside school) Third Persons POV

Knockout smirks as the scrabbler worked on the girl's phone. He had seen the autobots collect their humans earlier. They had obviously detected him and got them out quickly. They wouldn't risk their cover being blown. But their biggest mistake was leaving his target behind.

They probably thought we don't know about her and that she is safe Knockout thinks to himself as he watches her go to her next lesson. Oh how wrong they are he thinks with a smirk.

"Knockout, have you acquired the test subject yet?" Shockwave asks through the comm-link.

"Not yet" he states. "Have Soundwave send her a text from her cousin's phone. Telling her to meet him at the back of the building after school for a lift home" he tells him.

"Out of sight of the other humans, logical" Shockwave states and ends the call. Knockout gets into position and waits for school to let out. As Soundwave hacked into the mobile network and sends Lola a message disguising it as we message from Raf.

(Inside school) Lola's POV

My phone pings and I see a text from Raf. "Of course my friend can give you a lift after school. He'll be at the back of the school when the bell rings. I'll see you at dinner" it said. I was a little confused, Raf said he and not they. Is he not gonna be there?

"What about you?" I text and put my phone away. I never got a reply. When school ended I went to the back door. I see a red Aston Martin with dark tinted windows waiting. I frown in confusion, Raf's friend has a black and yellow Urbana 500.

"You Lola?" a guy asks from inside the car.

"Who are you?" I ask as I grip my bag tighter staying by the door.

"Raf's friend, he is sorry for not coming but he and the others are busy with a new project" he states. The passenger door opens. "Hop in and I'll give you a lift home" he tells me.

"I don't know, maybe I should call him" I state. "Besides I thought you had a yellow black Urbana 500" I say confused.

"No, that's someone else" he states. "Come on, I don't have all day" he tells me. I weigh up my options when I get another text from Raf.

"It's ok, he is my friend you can trust him" it read.

"I take you got the text from Raf" he says as I approach. I nod my head as I head around to the passenger side. I freeze though when I see no one in the car and alarm bells go off in my head. I go to run, but the seat belts grab me and dragged me into the car. The door slams shut as I am strapped in and the car speeds.

"Let me go!" I shout.

"No can do, we have big plans for you" the same voice states.

"Who's we and what are you?" I demand as I try not to cry.

"I a Cybertronian, an alien from another planet and we have experiment with your name on it" he states.

"No, let me go!" I shout. "I won't be some lab experiment" I state.

"Well you don't have a choice in the matter" he tells me. "Soundwave, a ground bridge if you will" he says. A green portal appears in front of us and he enters it. We appear in a dark hall away. Suddenly everything shifts around me. One moment I was strapped to a chair, the next I am in a giant metal hand of a huge red robot. He enters a lab of some sort and I shake in fear.

"Ah Knockout, have you brought me my test subject?" a robot with only one eye asks.

"Right here" Knockout says holding me up.

"Place her in the container" the bot orders. "I am not ready for the procedure yet" he states. Knockout nods and places me in a clear cylinder. "I'll call you when I ready" he adds and Knockout leaves. Suddenly a ray of light passes over me. "Perfectly healthy, good. Will make the results more accurate" he states.

"Who are you?" I ask him.

"Shockwave" he states as he heads over to a metal slab. Where a smaller metal robot lays unmoving. "You are the first of new project, if successful you will be the first of a new generation of decepticons" he tells me.

"What's the chance of this being successful?" I ask him.

"Never been done before, it would be illogical to guess" he states. "Knockout, I am ready" he says and turns to me. "It's time" he tells me and I back away from him. But I am stopped by the cylinder I am trapped in. I have no idea what they plan to do to me. But I know it won't be good and if it isn't successful. I'll most likely die.

(Autobot base) Third Persons POV

Raf has just left base with Bee, when he gets a text from Lola. 'What about you?' it said. Raf frowns in confusion and tries to call her. No answer. He calls his mum.

"Hi mum, is Lola home?" he asks.

"No, I thought she was with you are your club" she states. "I wasn't able to pick her up after school and thought she'd gone with you" she tells Raf. Who frowns in confusion. "Are you both on your way home? I am making dinner" she states.

"Actually she is having a sleepover at Miko's and I have a study session with Jack" Raf lies. "I'll be home late" he states and hangs up frowning. "Bee, I think something is wrong with my cousin" he tells his guardian.

"Why do you think that?" Bee asks him.

"She isn't home and you said Knockout was hanging around the school" he states.

"He doesn't know about her" he states.

"What if he does? And he took her?" Raf asks him. Bumblebee does a u-turn and heads back to base. They have to alert Optimus.
