Dear Reader,

Congratulations on reaching Book 3, First Album! By now you have encountered almost the entire cast. There is one final figure who needs to be introduced but you will find them in these pages. My role, alas, is less obviously significant, more backstage as it were. Perhaps, as you continue the story, you'll forget all about me.

This time we're looking at the cynic, all tough on the outside, but deep down, though they would never admit it, they are a closet romantic and, more than anything else, they want to believe the fairytale. They want to believe magic is real.

Yes, though it might surprise you to hear it, I'm talking about the Queen of Complicated Relationships, the controversial best friend, the one who swears blind she doesn't believe in me.
