At the beginning of dawn, I arise from my slumber and make my way out of the dorm only to be met with the bliss of cold air striking my face.

New Years Eve.

Today everything would be final, everything I had been dreaming of for years.

At the ripe old age of 26, my family had, understandably, been growing concerned as to when I was finally going to get married.
