First of all I want to make it clear I am NOT trying to offend anyone. If you find it offensive then don't read it at all instead of complaining. These are just my thoughts on FIrestar. Also SPOILER WARNING. You have been warned.

    So in the first book, Into the Wild, I didn't think much of Rusty/Firepaw. He was kind of bland at first and annoying. I don't have much to say about him when he was an apprentice or a kittypet because when he first became a warrior he wasn't that bad.

 BUT THEN. When he became deputy it got much, much, much, worse. Let me put it this way. Firestar is a Gary-sue. He is always acting like he's being so nice by bothering the other clans. He just wants to be friends with everyone and that isn't a good trait to have if you're leader. It drives me crazy! Not to mention he isn't sure if he loves his loyal wife Sandstorm, or some DEAD CAT.

 Firestar is a goody-two-shoes. He doesn't take action soon enough! And the whole Skyclan incident, don't get me started! Firestar wasn't very loyal to Princess either. It's like he doesn't even CARE about his sister! :( 

 The whole first series was kind of boring and I found it slow. We knew the whole time who murdered Redtail so there wasn't any mystery around it. And the fact Firestar would even think his best friend might be the bad cat in a prophecy isn't really loyal either.

And the whole thing with Firestar being the fourth cat in the Omen of the Stars series made me so mad! I mean it was so random but of course Firestar has to be in the center of EVERYTHING. And after he died they kept mentioning him which was annoying. If a cat dies, they are dead! I don't want to see Firestar again yet they keep mentioning him unlike, poor Hollyleaf. Even then Foxleap and Icecloud weren't ever really mentioned after they died. Does everything have to be about Firestar?

 He isn't a good friend, husband, or brother. FIrestar is a complete Gary-sue. He is just annoying and ruins the story! That's all I have to say on the subject. And again no offense to anyone who likes Firestar.
