On the very edge of the Forest of Jura, a small boy yawned before walking inside the forest. The boy was fairly small with waist length white hair that held white Fox ears on top, fair skin, and Heterochromatic eyes, one was a bright Sky blue with a star shaped pupil while the other was a dark shade of purple with a slitted pupil.

He wore a small tattered white cloak that had a hole in the back where two fluffy white tails were seen. The boy yawns and stretches before rubbing his stomach and leaping up into one of the trees to begin hunting for any food that he could eat. This boy, is the protagonist of our story, Yuji Suijin.

~Yuji Pov~

I leapt through the trees while sniffing the air for anything that could be food for me. I eventually picked something up and and began following the scent before coming to a stop and looking down. I'm front of me was a large serpent like creature that was currently coiled around a tree trunk while resting.

I drew my claws out and was about to pounce on it before stopping as I noticed a group of Hobgoblins walking towards it with various weapons. I retracted my claws and decided to watch the group to see what happens.

One of them threw a spear at the snake and hit it's eye as it woke up and screeched at the group as it began thrashing around. The group got into a formation as the snake righted itself and began slithering towards the group in rage.

As it got in range the Goblin in the front held up a shield as the snake bashed into it. Once this happened two others hopped onto it's back and stabbed their swords into its back before running down the length of the snake and jumping off. As the snake began thrashing around it kicked up a cloud of dust around it.

While it did this, the group crept forward as one of them retrieved the spear they lost at the start of the fight. They waited for the snake to finish thrashing around and the dust cloud to clear before they continued. Once the cloud of dust had gone the group went forward and finished the snake off.

I sighed and stood up, preparing to head off to find another meal before I heard the group shouting and turned to see another snake coming out of the trees where the first one was. I smiled and drew my claws out again before leaping off the tree and falling towards the snake with a smile.

~Rigurd Pov~

We had just finished killing the first snake and were celebrating when the second one came out of the trees. As we all got in formation to fight it we heard a voice from above us shouting.

"No, this one is mine!" It shouted as something slammed into the snake from above creating a dust cloud. We then watched watched the smoke as the snakes head went flying out of it before landing in front of us. As the smoke began clearing we got our weapons ready in case whatever killed the snake decided to attack us.

Once it was fully clear we could see a very small boy in front of his, he had long white hair with two ears on the top of his head and wore tattered clothes with two tails slowly waving behind him. The boy smiled at us and rubbed the back of his neck before speaking "Sorry about that, I was just really hungry"

~Yuji Pov~

I continued looking at the group as they slowly lowered their weapons and nodded. One of them walked up to me and began speaking.

"Well, thank you for saving us back there, we weren't expecting a second snake so it could have easily killed some us" He said.

I nodded and smiled "Oh, your welcome, I was just really hungry so I leapt without thinking hehe" I said as I rubbed the back of my neck a bit.

"Oh, well if your hungry maybe we could show you to our town, after we deliver this meat, it's usually made into some really good food" the Goblin said.

I felt my eyes sparkle as I heard this before I began nodding furiously as my tails began wagging furiously. "Yes please that sounds amazing, thank you for your generous offer"

He shook his head and smiled "No, thank you for helping us, now we just need to cut the meat so it's easier to carry" He said.

"Ah, I can do that, give me a moment" I said before turning and drawing my claws again. I reeled my hand back as my claws began glowing softly.

"Lightning Claw" I shouted as I swung my hand in a cross formation as ten Lightning slashes came out and cut the meat into little squares to make it easier for the group to carry.

I turned back to the group and smiled as I finished "There ya go, that should make it easier for us to carry".

The group of goblins looked shocked before the leader shook himself out of it and began ordering the others to gather the meat so they could carry it back to their town.

I helped a bit and carried some of the meat as we began walking towards their town. As we walked they talked and joked around with each other as I smiled at the friendly nature of the group. As we approached the town their leader stopped and turned to me with a smile.

"I'm glad to welcome you, to the town of Tempest" He said as we finally were able to see the town.
