Chapter 11
A/N: Yes, double update because I love you my Fireflakers! I never even imagined to get so much response in the first Q/A part. I planned it better but I couldn't manage time.
Quesoftheday: Do you guys want more interviews? If I get much positive response, I'll give it a go.
What was your favorite part in the first interview?
"Snow! We're getting late honey!" I put down my blue eyeliner quickly hearing Mani calling me for the second time.
"What's taking you so late Snow!" Madison yells behind the door.
"Oh God Madison! I'm coming!" I roll my eyes opening the door.
"Let's go." Madison sighs and we both walk downstairs.
Mani smiles looking at me and I smile back. Checking all of our bags, we all finally hop inside the car. I wanted to sit beside Madison but he's acting so annoying these days. So I sit with Mani on the backseat. Something is not going good between me and Madison and we need to fix this.
"Do you have some good songs to play on Madison?" I ask few minutes later he starts to drive.
"No, I don't play songs or do anything which may distract me from driving Snow. You can plug on your headphones if you want to listen some songs." He smiles and I nod, making faces behind him.
I sigh looking outside the window. I lean my head against the window and try not to get annoyed with Madison's moody behaviour. We've been in a relationship for more than four years now but he never acted so annoying to me like he's acting since the day I've come here.
Either he has changed or I've changed; if none of us have changed, then maybe we're failing to understand each other or wrongly communicating our minds.
"We're here ladies." Madison tells snapping me back into reality and I discover myself in front of a grand resort. I hop out of the car and help Mani and Madison to take out the bags.
The resort is quite big and a big fountain is spreading colorful water in different motions inside a heart shaped area. We walk to the big glassed door and enter inside.
"Good afternoon Sir, good afternoon ladies." A man in suit appears in front of us and greets us all with a warm welcoming smile.
"I talked with you last night remember? Madison?" Madison walks towards the man.
"Oh yeah, my apologies sir. Wait I'm showing you the rooms." The man walks away and comes back along with two more men. They smile and asks for the permission to take our bags to our rooms. We follow them and finally reach in front of an wooden door.
"I've booked two rooms for three of us." Madison tells looking at me and Mani.
"You two can share a room and I'll be in my room. Maybe the old lady wants to spend some royal time." Mani smiles.
The thought of me and Madison staying together in one room, makes me blush. I know Mani wants us to stay together and that's why she said so.
"Are you sure you're gonna be o........"
"Come on you little boy! Your mum is younger than you!" Mani smacks his arm causing me to smile.
"Okay my supermum! Now go and get some rest. We'll be going out after an hour maybe." Madison kisses Mani's cheek and then enters into the room. I follow him and look around the room. The room is quite big for just the two of us.
"I didn't think mum will make this so easy for me." Madison hugs me from behind.
"Make what easy?" I playfully ask.
"To spend our private time together in a room." He kisses my cheek from behind and I smile.
I turn around and intend to kiss him but a phone call interrupts us. He cuts it off and wraps my waist with his arms.
"What if my father finds us and tries to snatch me away from you?" I ask looking at him nervously.
"He won't be able to, I'll stop him." He tells cupping my cheeks with his hands and plants a kiss on my forehead.
"I don't want to go back there. I want to be with you." My voice cracks.
"Snow." He hugs me tightly. "I'm right here with you oksy? Now stop being emotional and let's go out huh?"
I nod against his chest and he gently pushes me away. I walk towards my luggage and unzip it. I decide to wear a yellow sleeveless top and white shorts. I tie a high ponytail in my hair and slid on my pair of toms.
"From when did you start to wear these funky shorts?" Madison makes me to look at him while tying the laces of my toms.
"Not so many days. I never tried this kind of outfits but I found them comfortable than my daily wears once after I started wearing them." I chuckle.
"You looked good in your ex daily outfits Snow. This shorts....not you." He scrunches his nose.
"Maybe you're not used to see me in this kind of clothes that's why you're saying like this Madison." I half smile looking at him.
"I really would not like you in these shorts in front of loads of guys in the beach. You've lost your sense Snow!" He tells in a serious tone.
"Madison!" I look at him widening my eyes. "What you want me to wear in the beach? Hideous long gowns I used to wear in my house parties? Oh come on Madison! Your narrow minded thoughts are surprising me these days!" I throw my hands up in the air and stand in front of the window keeping my hands on my waist.
"My narrow mind? Snow now you're making me laugh! My mind hasn't narrowed, your choice has dumped!" He yells from behind and I turn around.
"You're out of your mind Madison!" I whisper yell looking at him and walk towards the door.
"Where are you going?" He yells from behind.
"Where loads of guys are doing nothing but waiting all day to see me in shorts, as you said earlier." I frown and walk out of the room.
I go outside the resort and the hot sun hits my body. I go towards the sea and sit on the sand where the water is hitting the shore continuously. I touch the skin under my eyes to check if any teardrop is coming out of my uncontrollable eyes.
No, they're not.
I need to learn a lot of things and on that list, controlling my emotion tops.
I smile weakly as I see a teen girl trying hard to swim with her boyfriend's help. I look away when they kiss each other, not because it bothers me but it just reminds me of happy moments which makes me sad now.
"Ouch." I gasp when something hits my head.
"Sowwy." A little girl comes in front of me and takes the ball by which I was hit a while ago.
"It's okey, here you go." I pinch the little blonde girl's cheeks and pass her the ball.
"Rosette! I'm looking for you everywhere!" A man and a lady comes towards us and I stand up.
"I was finding fow a d....dolphin!" The little girl named Rosette runs to the man and the man kisses her cheek.
"Don't leave mom and dad like this huh? You might get lost. You scared mommy." The lady hugs her, sitting in front of her on her knees.
"Did she disturb you? She's getting naughtier day by day." The young lady comes to me and smiles.
"No, not at all. You guys have an angelic child." I tell looking at the little girl. She smiles looking at me.
"Thank you. You're here alone?" She asks looking around.
"No, I'm here with my.......boyfriend." I smile and try to remind myself that I'm really here with my boyfriend.
"Oh, enjoy. See you again." She smiles and walks away with her husband and daughter.
I watch as they walk together. The man takes her daughter up and makes her sit on his shoulders. His wife and he walk together holding their hands.
Isn't this the life everyone dreams for? Rosette reminds me of my childhood. I always used to walk holding my dad's hand whenever I went outside.
"Snow." A hand on my shoulder jerks me away from my thoughts of my childhood good memories.
"Mani." I turn around and see Mani looking at me.
"Where's Madison? I thought you guys are together somewhere." Mani tells looking around and then looks at me again.
"He's in the room. I was not feeling good so I just decided to spend some time alone." I smile, not deciding to tell Mani about her narrow minded son.
"Oh, Madison left a text in my mobile. He told that he had to go somewhere urgently so he told me to go to lunch with you."
Okey, now he's totally out of his mind. He comes here for spending time with his mother and so called girlfriend and now he has to go somewhere urgently? Wow! He's now making me to suspect him and hate him the most at the same time.
"Okey let's go." I forcefully smile looking at Mani and we walk to the line of restaurants. We enter into a seafood restaurant and sit on a two seated wooden table.
"Hot sunny days, haven't tanned my skin since long." Mani tells caressing her arms.
"Your skin is still so healthy and good looking Mani." I smirk and she blushes.
"Hello ladies, anything I can help with?" A blonde boy wearing an apron appears in front of us and places the menu on the table.
"We'll call you once after we decide our lunch menu." Mani tells looking at the boy and he walks away nodding.
"Is everything good between you and Madison Snow?" Mani asks, causing me to look at her surprisingly.
"Y...yeah. Why are you asking this?" I nervously smile.
"I don't know. I just thought. Look Snow, you're only 18 and you still have your whole life to pass on. You're legal to do anything by your wish. So don't make yourself depressed for others. Live your life, live the life with that person who makes you feel alive. Stop caring about what others will think and others will like, think about yourself Snow. It's time to be independent. You wanted to be with Madison right? Here you are, with him. Live your life with him, forget what happened." She stops and looks at me affectionately.
"Thanks Mani, I'm trying my best to overcome everything." I smile.
You wanted to be with Madison right? Here you are, with him. Live your life with him, forget what happened.
I wanted to be with him but why I am not satisfied after having him?
"That's my little girl. Now let's order the lunch, I'm really hungry." Mani pouts and I take another menu up from the table.
"Sushi sounds good for me. What about you?" I tell turning the pages of the menu book.
"I'll try some baked salmon here." Mani smiles excitedly.
"Okey, excuse me?" I call the blonde boy raising my hand and he takes our orders. We order our lunch and add two prawn soups and orange juices with it. The boy arrives again with our lunch plates in fifteen minutes. Mani and I take some photos together meanwhile.
"I love tasting new foods." I tell after finishing my sushi.
"Me either but my boy doesn't like it. He doesn't even have meal outside. He acts so old sometimes," Mani smiles frowning and I laugh.
"He really acts so old sometimes. He has changed Mani, a lot." I tell half smiling.
"Yeah, I've noticed that too." Mani agrees. "Haven't Michael visited you for once till now?" She asks.
"Wish I could answer yes." I sigh sadly. "I had a hope of meeting him again but I don't have the hope now, he has no idea about my whereabouts."
"Don't worry, wait patiently. Good surprises are mostly gifted by God and the bad ones by human." She smiles.
After finishing the lunch we walk towards the swimming pool and I refresh my mind by having some girly talk with Mani. It's really great to have accompany from a jolly person like her.
