"I know and with no queens there will be even fewer warriors" said Desertstorm. "Spottedleaf" called Oakstar. "Yes Oakstar" replied Spottedleaf. "I want you to take a patrol and patrol all of our boarders we need to be alert at all times" meowed Oakstar. "Who shall I take" asked Spottedleaf. "Take Ashfur, Desrtstorm, Darkmoon, Moonshine, and Doegaze our most experienced warriors" replied Oakstar.With that Spottedleaf and her patrol set out on their task. "Oakstar does have a point" meowed Ashfur. "Yes he does" replied Darkmoon. "But why such a large patrol" asked Moonshine. "Maybe if we get attacked by another patrol" answered Desertstorm. "But who would attack us" asked Darkmoon. "Any of the clans" replied Ashfur. "Guys we're supposted to be patroling the boarders not chatting like a bunch of crows now come on" meowed Spottedleaf. The patrol reached the camp around moonhigh exhausted. "We did it" breathed Ashfur. "Yes we did" agreed Desertstorm. "You guys can go to your dens and rest now"meowed Oakstar. "I'll give you the report Oakstar" meowed Doegaze. "Everything was quiet not even a sound" reported Doegaze. "Hmmm" thought Oakstar. "Maplebreeze you will be guard tonight" said Oakstar. "Ok Oakstar" replied Maplebreeze who now sat watching the forest from her post.
