I turned and saw a few sparks of electricity fumbling and stumbling on his mother's hand. "You look like you don't even know how to use them, your powers. It is just like Harry Potter discovering, 'How do everyone know my name?' Not today mum, not tomorrow. I am NEVER EVER GOING TO BELIEVE YOU ARE A GODDESS!!!"

"I mean, even if you are, why did you hide it from me mum, for fourteen years?! Why?!" Don asked annoyed. "You see Don, your father and I only came to the United States only because we wanted to let go of our past, and take care of you. We wanted to give you all the things we could, but we never realized that our powers, both of our powers would pass on to you," his mother said regretfully. "Yeah right, I don't want to hear this nonsense. But if you both came to the United States, where is dad, and why did you marry this freak who keeps hugging you? I tell you, he just sits there on the couch, eats chips, and watches tv the whole day! He is nothing but a lazy-couch-potato-hugging-FREAK!"

My mum sighed, it was indeed true, but she had no choice. "Listen, I wanted to come here with dad, but he wanted to stay there. Wanting to go in different directions, we divorced." 

 I mumbled, "He is still a superhero then? "

"No, super...villain"

"Sweet! He could teach me evil stuff like 'How to get your mum to stop nagging' couldn't he?"

"DON!"

"MUM!"

"Get up and go to your room. I have had enough of this."

"No. I am a fourteen-year-old kid, not a six-year-old kid. I am not going upstairs. I am going to Dwayne's."

I grabbed my coat, slammed the door, and left the house.
