Alex and her mom drove up to Alex's new school .

"Bye mom see you at graduation. Love you," said Alex as she got out of the car.

"Bye!" yelled Alex's mom as she drove away

"Ok, new school. Mabey I Should go see who my dorm mate is," Alex whispered to herself. "So I got this map from the front desk and it says my room is in dorm hall 2 room 27 third story, ok, so I have to go this way," said Alex as she headed to her dorm 

"Hello, is any one here?" asked Alex as she walk into a, seemingly empty room, "Huh, maybe they're not here yet."

Then she heard an unfamiliar voice.

" Yes," said a girl walking out of what looked like a kitchen. "I'm T.J. ," said the girl with slight suspicion, " What's your name?"

" I'm Alexa but every one calls me Alex. Umm... What does T.J. stand for?" asked Alex.

"It stands for Taylor Jay but I didn't like that," said T.J.

" Oh-ok," whispered Alex " So how did you end up here?" asked Alex.

" Well it's kind of embarrassing, but I'm a drop out," T.J. sighed.

Alex sighed a breath of relief," Well I'm glad I'm not the only one, is that why everyone is here?" asked Alex.

"No, some kids just have any other reason to be here, it's a little odd right," said T.J.

" Yeah, it is. Anyway we should go get some lunch or something, I'm starving," said Alex.

"Sound good, lets go!" exclaimed T.J. The girls walk to one of the cafeterias.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

" Hey T.J." whispered Alex.

" Yes" said T.J. acting suspicious once again.

"Maybe  we should start socializing," said Alex,

" Doesn't seem like we have to, look," whispered T.J.

Two boys walked up to the girls.

" Hey, mind if we sit with you two?" one asked,

" Yeah, why not, we were thinking about going and socializing any way," said Alex.

" Well I'm Nate,"-" And I'm Zach," Said the boys,

" Well I'm T.J. and this is Alexa," said T.J. ," Correction, I am Alexa but everyone calls me Alex," she continued," So why are you two here?

" Nate answered," We're both drop outs," "Yeah," they said," they both Sigh.

" Well, us too" Alex said softly.

" That's a relief!" exclaimed Zach.

The four new friends decided to eat and get to know one another better.
