ANAYA

I woke up after my short turned long nap and showered. I then went downstairs for breakfast. But, by the time I arrived at the kitchen, it was almost lunch time, so basically, I was having brunch. I had salad along with some orange juice for brunch. No, I wasn't dieting. It's just been a long time since I've had salad. I'm one of those girls who eat way too much but don't become fat.

Avil and I were avoiding each other like the plague. So, after I was done eating, I called Gunda. More like shouted for him. 'Oy, Gunda. Come here now.' He was like my own personal slave, though it's supposed to be the other way round. I enjoyed it though! It was like he was my peasant and I, his queen, like back in those aristocratic days.

'Yes Anaya', Gunda said.

'Take me to the gym, dude', I ordered.

Gunda led me to the gym. One word to describe that place - huge! It was fricking huge! It was like one full floor of UB City huge. If you've been to UB City or have at least seen it from outside, you definitely know what I'm talking about. 'Thank you Gunda. See ya later.' 

As soon as Gunda walked out, I ran to the treadmill. As I was running on it, the Satan's incarnation, also known as, Avil walked in. 'Oh! The dimwit's here!'

'At least I'm not a bitch', Avil retorted.

'Hun, I know you act like one. But, you have to be a female dog to be a bitch', I smiled.

Avil's nose flared.'If I had a face like yours, I'd sue my parents.'

Now, he's gone too far. No one, and I mean no one, insults my parents. 'Do you practice to be this ugly? Or does it come naturally?'

'As an outsider, what do you think of the human race?' Avil asked, pretending to be interested.

'You know, I would break all your teeth, but, I wouldn't want to improve your looks now, would I?' I said, smiling and enjoying Avil's reaction.

'Any similarity between you and a human is purely coincidental', Avil said, red with anger.

'At least there is one thing good about your body', I said. Avil's face was a mix of shock and confusion, But it all disappeared when I finished my sentence. 'It isn't as ugly as your face.'

'Sweetie, I've been called dark and handsome and mysterious', Avil said.

Want to insult a boy? Hurt their pride and ego. And that's ust what I did. 'Peaches, I think, no wait, I'm sure when they said that you were dark and handsome, they meant that when it's dark and no one can see you, you're handsome.'

'Keep talking. Maybe someday, something intelligent will come out of your mouth', Avil retorted.

Now, I was insulted. I was the smartest girl in my high school, and Avil knew that because there was only five marks difference between our marks. I stood first and he came second. Yeah, that too was a competition between us. 'And you are the living proof that humans can exist without a brain.'

'Ok, I know you have been going at it for a long time. And I know that you guys can continue this for hours too. But Anaya, you have been running on this treadmill for all that while and I don't know if that's healthy', Gunda said from across the room. Avil and I both jumped because we hadn't noticed him enter the room. But he was right, so I got down the treadmill and went to the punching bag, putting on my gloves as I walked to it.

I threw one last glare at Avil before turning my attention towards the punching bag. Pretending it was Avil, I punched and kicked it till it was destroyed. Then, I went towards the weight lifting section and lifted some weights. By the time I was done, I was drenched in sweat. I wiped my face with the towel I found and walked out of the gym, leaving behind a gaping Gunda. I'm pretty sure it was because I had broken the punching bag, but it could have been for something else too. 

I walked back in backwards and turned around facing Avil and Gunda. 'Three fun facts about me. One, I love working out, two, I have a black belt karate and three, I am a judo expert. I also have a smart mouth. So, I suggest you don't mess with me.. or it won't be pretty for any of you. '

When I walked out the gym this time, I heard Avil and Gunda gulping, and Gunda telling Avil,'Good luck with her, man. You're gonna need it.' Hah! If only he knew we weren't a couple. Of course Manu knew, but I doubt he would open his mouth after what Avil and I did to him. I heard he is bed-ridden for a week. Serves that lying, kidnapping bastard right!

Hey guys,

How're you all doing? But more importantly, how was new year? I wish you all a prosperous, happy and joy-filled 2016. 

First few months are going to be hard considering I'll have to scratch off 2015 every time I write it instead off 2016. My notebooks' are gonna be a mess! Anywho, it's a new year which means it's a new beginning for all of us, make new mistakes while learning from out old ones, struggling through finals and lots more. But, be happy that you've survived another year. So, go give your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, sis, bro, aunty, uncle, cousin, friends and even your enemies a hug.
