" My child !"

The empress hugged him as soon as Taehyung made his entry at the royal dining room. It was a rare sight of them being a mother and son. The Emperor and Empress were always tough and non emotional towards their children. But won't a mother's heart move when her child would return home after centuries ? The emperor just sat on his chair and looked at him with a smile.

They have grown older. Taehyung looked much mature too.

" Where's Jungkook ? Did you two not meet ?" He questioned.

" We did meet each other but he would be arriving a few minutes later. How are you two ?"

" How do you expect us to be ? You didn't even contact us all these years. Do you know how worried were we ?" The empress asked wiping her tears with her handkerchief.

" I am so sorry..."

" You better be. Now get your ass down here and eat lunch with us. It's been such a long time. "

" Yes. I will. "

" Have you been eating properly ? You seem thinner than before. "

" I have been. "

The empress took him to his chair and made him sit down. Taking a sit beside him , she went forward to take the bowl of soups and rice she had made herself .

" Say ' ahh'"

Taehyung smiled as he controlled back his tears. His mother wanted to feed him.  She did love him a lot. He opened his mouth and his mother stuffed it with food.

The taste of food increases whenever your mother feeds you.

" Are you worried about something ?"

Taehyung looked at his mother's face.

" Well ... I have someone I want to introduce. "

" Who's it ? "

The door of the room opened revealing Jungkook standing there with a female figure clad in a blue floral gown. Her face was covered with a veil.

" Reina , you can take off the veil now. Jungkook close the door. "

Jungkook followed his orders and closed the doors to avoid being noticed by the servants. Reina slowly took of the veil with her heart beating loudly inside.

The empress and emperor gasped in surprise. Reina nervously glanced at them.

" Taehyung , who's she ? She can't be..."

" She's Reina. Reha's reincarnation. "

" How's that possible ? She's a human being !"

" I know... I know... "

Taehyung explained the the story from the beginning. His parents looked at him stressed.

" Won't she become Lord Andon's target ?"

" She was already his target  on Earth. He captured his father. "

" What are we supposed to do ? I am happy to get her back but she's a mortal being ... How are you going to stay together ? There are some unavoidable rules in heaven. "

" I know..."

" Then ? We need to suppress the rebellion too. Lord Andon has become more involved with the internal affairs. "

" You need not worry about him. I know what to do in order to make him a prisoner. "

Taehyung told them about the letters of Lady Moara.

" So you are planning to visit the demon kingdom today ? "

" I am. It's important. Don't spread the news. I need to go undercover. "

" You need protection for that. Take Emperor Hoseok. The presence of sun would be beneficial for you if they attack you unexpectedly. "

" Yes. I am going to take him. Also , don't tell anyone that Reina is staying here. It would have been too dangerous for her to stay there. The dark spirits and denons could have had attacked her in  my absence. Some servants have already seen her. Try to take care of them so that they don't spit nonsense outside ."

" Okay..."

" Why are you standing there love ? Come here ." The empress asked Reina who was still standing. She patted the chair next to her . Reina shyly went to her side and sat down. The empress placed her hand on her. She slowly patted her.

It was a pleasure seeing her return again. She had grown attached to her before.

Reina felt the warmth in her gesture. She was reminded of her own mother. It has been long since she had received love from a motherly figure. The nervousness inside her still hadn't gone. It was Taehyung's parents after all.

Everything was going too fast. They just had confessed about their feelings and she didn't even know the status of their relationship.
