Ivy POV

"A field trip to a green house. This definitely is a small town." I say crossing my arms as Bella glanced at me.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Bella asked and I look at her.

"I'd be going to a museum or Botanic garden rather than a green house." I say honestly before my eyes land on Jaspe who was walking with his siblings when Mike just stepped in the middle catching my attention and Bella.

"Look at you huh? You're alive." He says looking at Bella with a weird show of his hands.

"Yes she is, now please move along." I say rolling my eyes as Bella bumped my shoulder and I raise a brow at her knowing well she too wanted him gone.

"You're funny." Mike says as I groan this kid never gives up does he?

"Hey, so I actually wanted to ask you if.. you know it's like a month away but, do you wanna go to prom with me?" I raise a brow.

"Are you asking me or Bella? Because sweetheart if you're asking me I'm telling you now to give up because you're not up to my standards." I say tilting my head.

"Why are you so mean?" Mike asks in an annoyed way making me smirk.

"Why are you still standing here if I'm so mean? I can't help my honesty." I say still smirking.

"Whatever I wasn't asking you." He says with blushing cheeks making me chuckle.

"So Bella what do you think?" Mike says seeming to snap Bella out of her trance and when I followed her view I saw Edward staring at us and Jasper not a few feet away from him doing the same.

"About what?" Bella asked making me chuckle.

"Do you wanna go? To prom? With me?" He asked almost making me feel bad for him.

"Oh, uh, prom. Dancing. Not such a good idea for me." Bella started as I laugh.

"It really isn't." I say as she glances at me as if asking me to save her but I shook my head telling her this is all her, if I do interject it will be quite rude and she's always complaining about it so I'll leave this up to her.

"I have something that weekend anyway. I'm going to Jacksonville that weekend." Bella says making me almost snort but kept it back.

"You can't go another weekend?" He asked making me roll my eyes.

"Non-refundable ticket. You should ask Jessica. I know she wants to go with you." Bella says as Mike looked as Jessica who was very clearly looking at us being the nosey fake bitch she is.

"Ay, ay, ay guys come on! Green is what? Good! Come on." Our teacher says and Bella and me take a seat beside each other.

"Seriously? You had to say you had to go to Jacksonville that weekend? Couldn't you just say no? I mean you clearly have eyes for only one guy in this school." I say making her look at me.

"Yeah? And what about you? You too only have eyes for one guy." She says and I raise a brow at her.

"Look at you being sassy, and yes but unlike you I don't hide it or try to make excuses to say no to someone." I say smirking at her.

"Right." She says rolling her eyes and within minutes we were already on the green house.

"Again, small town." I say making her chuckle as we got off and followed the group to the greenhouse as the teacher explained somethings when a flower caught my attention and I stopped to look at it.

"You like flowers?" I hear from behind I just stay put.

"Not all of them but yes. You want to know what I like even more? A guy who will talk to me like a normal person without trying to push me away." I say turning to look at him as his eyes looked into mine.

"My apologies ma'am. But as you may already know I'm not a normal person." He says making me shake my head and try to walk away but he follows me.

"I can't just open up to you." I hear him say and I turn to look at him.

"Oh but I can open up to you? I have to keep up with your mood swings of 'I really want to be with you but we can't because me and my family are a secret and I don't wanna hurt you but I don't want to stop talking to you and leave you alone either.' News flash Jasper you're not the only one with a secret and now we both know the truth about each other so what is your hesitation?" I ask looking at him as he swallows looking at my lips and then at my neck before pulling away taking my arm and dragging me outside pinning me to the wall.

"Because unlike my siblings I don't have the self control to keep myself from draining you of your blood. Because you'll find that my upbringing and theirs was very different. I don't think you understand how strong your scent is to me, I don't think you understand that your blood calls to me, everything about you makes me want to kill you." He says making my breath hitch but I just take a long sigh before looking into his eyes again.

"I don't think you understand the fact that you too call to me, I don't think you understand that mystery, adrenaline, and curiosity are things that defy me. I don't think you understand that you are all of those for me." I say getting closer to him and I see him hold his breath closing his eyes as my hands slowly place themselves on his chest slowly moving up.

"I know you won't hurt me." I say getting closer to him as my hands make it to his neck and he growls.

"How can you be sure? How can you know for a fact my mind will control my instincts of devouring you?" He asks looking into my eyes and I could hear the wall behind me start to crack from how much force his fingers were putting against it.

"Because I trust you more than I should, because right now I have no other choice than to trust you with my life, because never in my life have I felt like this and even if I die I can't let go of this feeling." I say looking into his golden eyes.

"So please don't make me." I say letting our nose touch and I see him exhale closing his eyes.

"You can tell me if I'm going too far.. I'll stop." I whisper just before he pushed his lips to mine harshly in a hungry way and his hands soon dig themselves into the wall behind me as he continued to kiss me before pulling away harshly looking at me with black eyes making my breath hitch.

"I have to go." He says running as fast as humanly possible getting to the bus.
