Huney wakes in a human village and meets Meredith.

Huney wakes to find himself weakened, his flames dimmed. He is discovered by Meredith, a young girl from the nearby fishing village. She brings him to her home, and for the first time, Huney feels the fragility of being human.

Meredith: "Are you alright? You just fell from the sky! Who... who are you?"

Huney: "I am... I am... Huney." (confused, still adjusting to his human form)

Meredith: "Huney? That's an unusual name." (smiling warmly)

Huney: *"It is"

Chapter 3: The Village of Tilaris (continued)

Huney begins to live among humans, hiding his true identity.

Meredith, fascinated by the mysterious boy, continues asking him questions. Huney, unfamiliar with human customs, struggles to fit in, but he hides his divine origin as best as he can. The village of Tilaris is peaceful, but Huney feels out of place, torn between his celestial upbringing and this simple life.

Meredith: "Where are you from, Huney? You don't look like anyone from the nearby villages."

Huney: (hesitant) "I... come from far away. A place of fire and stone."

Meredith: (laughs) "Fire and stone? Sounds like a tale from the old stories! You must have a lot to tell!"

Huney: (thinking to himself) "If only you knew... But no, I cannot reveal my truth."

As days go by, Huney begins learning the ways of humans: how they work, how they interact, and how they feel emotions. His connection with Meredith deepens, as she teaches him about compassion and the intricacies of human life, things that Ignivor never prepared him for.
