I woke feeling like all my energy had been ducked away. I looked around for my dad but he wasn't there. My mom looked at me with a sad smile,"I hope you are feeling alright"."I guess so but I still feel a little pain," I replied. She took a deep breath,"You are not from this kingdom Selina, when you were born there was a great scourge on the kingdom that your parents ruled it disappeared,not die disappear it is still out there but we haven't found it yet"."So let me get this straight, I'm not your daughter the kingdom I come has disappeared as well as my parents",I stated, she nodded. Then how did I end up with you guys?",I asked."On that day your father,sister and I were on a walk when we heard crying",she started,"We looked towards where the sound was coming and saw smoke"."As you know smoke is not needed here,so we investigated the bush,that was when we found you",she ended."But why did you take care of me,wouldn't it have been dangerous",I rationalized. She looked at me with sad eyes."Selina ever since you were born an ancient prophecy has started to make sense to",she let out a sigh,"Now unfortunately for you it is all to clear". "But what am I supposed to do", I said. "Go to the Whispering Lake and speak to the oracle there,everything will make sense after that",she went on without regarding my question,she gathered her gown and walked out of the room.

I had arrived at the Whispering Lake,"Hey Oracle, you there,I need to talk to you",I called out. I was about to call out again when I noticed a white most coming out of the lake. It surrounded me then everything went black. I blinked then saw a woman who seemed to be made of mist."What is your wish", she said. "I need to know my destiny",I replied,"and my purpose"."That is a dire thing to ask child why is this your wish knowing the future is dangerous as well as powerful",she said"But if it is your desire but be warned you will see things you cannot forget". The image shimmered and changed,I saw a battlefield many bodies were scattered on it. This is your home land at the time of your birth. The image changed again I saw three people exiting a dark chasm,I realised with horror that one of them was me. This is you trying to save your world, alas I cannot show you more. The image shimmered, I was back at the lake,"No wait do I succeed or fail tell me", I called out, but somehow I knew that my audience was over.

I returned to the castle. My mother was waiting at the entrance,"It breaks my heart to say,but you must find your people for the scourge of Bloodfire is spreading even we are not safe". "But why should save people I do not know", I said bitterly. She looked at me her expression fierce,"Because that is what a princess and heir does,protect her people"."But I don't even know where to start",I stated,"doing this would be fruitless". She gave me a scroll,"This will help you find your way,I it cannot show you exactly where it is,but it will guide you in finding the clues to locate it"."I cannot do this alone",I said gingerly taking the scroll,"I will need help"."You will have help Snowflake will guide you the others you will find on your way",she countered. "I know you do not think you should help your people,but if we do not unite the kingdoms and fight it out world will become a wasteland filled with suffering",she told me,"I bid you farewell young one your father .....I mean the king hopes to see you soon".

I was soon walking away from the place I used to call home. Who were the other two people with me? Will I ever know my parents? The only comfort I had was Snowflake trudging beside me. I realized This is only the beginning.
