3rd POV

Grillby found [Y/N] not to long after the fall. He couldn't remember how or why they were here, but he did know that she was running a high fever and needed immediate medical attention. He picked her up and started running. "I NEED A DOCTOR!" He screamed out while running in a panic. He didn't know where anyone was though. He knew he was somewhere in the C.O.R.E facility. He just didn't know where. He didn't know the way back. "SOMEONE PLEASE!"
"grillby!" Grillby turned to see Sans running at him. "What are you doing here? Where's Papyrus!?"

Sans didn't have time to answer Grillby's questions upon seeing [Y/N]'s condition. He continued running at Grillby, and when he collided with Grillby's legs, he made a shortcut. Suddenly they found themselves at the lab where all the people were. "we need help! my mom is sick!" Of course that had everyone moving to assist her. Sans was just a boy after all. They rushed off with [Y/N] in tow. "H-how did we.."
"i used a shortcut. i started looking for you after you'd been gone for an hour. Undyne's parents are watching pap." Sans explained. "A shortcut?"
"my.. uh.. magic ability. i can fold space to get from one location to another." Grillby looked startled. "Sans.. that's amazing!"
"and useful when it comes to things like this. she used the fire fox form, didn't she?" Grillby nodded. "stars.. i hope we made it in time.."
"Me too.." Grillby agreed.

So they waited. They were kept updated on her condition. Sans took small naps in Grillby's lap. There was a few scary moments when people would suddenly swarm her room. The doctor, Dr. Scaleswind, told us that it was a sudden dip in her HP. They had to transfuse magic into her soul via IV to bring it back up. She was stabilizing slowly and was at less a risk of death. He asked what happened, they told him they didn't know, that she started acting a bit under the whether and got worse pretty quick. He accepted the story and the waiting game started once more. Sans checked on Papyrus a couple of times, and explained the situation to her parents. They agreed to watch him for the time being until their mom got better.

Eventually, Grillby and Sans had to get food. Muffet was kind enough to give a double discount. One because a loved one was in the lab and one because Grillby owned his own restaurant. So now they had a fairly close food source. "Sans, if you're tired, I can carry you." Grillby offered the boy. "no, just want mom to be ok.." He was tired, mentally exhausted. He knew he wouldn't get much sleep though. He could hardly sleep as it was. Entering the lab again, they found Dr. Scaleswind waiting.

"What happened." Grillby was afraid the worst had happened. He was scared that she was.. "She's officially out of the danger zone. She hasn't woken up yet, but you can go in whenever." The doctor replied. "She is lucky to be alive." With a breathy laugh, the boys hugged each other and Sans went to get Papyrus. Together, the three went in to see her. She was breathing easier, not in those heavy pants. Her temperature was normal, and she seemed to actually be resting peacefully. "Welcome back to the land of the living.." Grillby took her hand while the boys curled up on either side of her.
