You returned to the bar after the storm. Last night had been, interesting and you were still trying to wrap your mind around it. It was a little strange to you, being in a relationship. It was something completely new to you, but Grillby said he would show you the ropes. Take it slow. Sans, being the smart and observant skeleton he was, noticed things almost immediately. You and Grillby were running around the kitchen getting breakfast for the boys. Sans wanted waffles with blueberries in them and Papyrus wanted oatmeal with dinosaur eggs in it. "are you two together yet?" We both froze and looked at the eldest skeleton. "What..?" You asked. "have you kissed? you slept in the same room last night, so i can only assume grillbs is our dad now." The both of you blushed and you had no clue how to respond. "Sans, that is completely inappropriate to talk about." Grillby reprimanded. Sans ducked away. "sorry.."
"There are better ways to approach this. For instance you didn't have to add the last sentence." Grillby concluded, putting the waffles down." Sans looked up. "well are you together?" You smoothed down the fur on your neck. "Yes?" You replied still questioning everything. "Yes." Grillby confirmed. "cool."

Papyrus made a mess out of his oatmeal so you were preparing a bath for him since Grillby couldn't touch water. Sans and Grillby were undressing the wiggly toddler who really didn't want a bath. "NO! NO BAF! NO! NO! NO!"
"pap, i'll take the bath with you, just stop squirming!"
"NO!" Papyrus wailed. "How do I fix this?" You looked to the bubbly water. You smiled and scooped some bubbles up. You walked over and plopped the mess on his skull. Papyrus stopped. Poked at the mess of bubbles on his head. "You have a hat, Papyrus. Just like me." He grinned widely. "LIK MAMA! LIK MAMA!" They took the opportunity to undress him, though he lost his hat in the process. Luckily, you'd replaced it quickly. Sans undressed himself and carried Pap to the tub for more bubble hats. "Nice save." Grillby hugged you from behind. You tensed. "It's only me.."
"I know.." but you couldn't relax though. You were trying. "It's ok. Things take time.. and patience."
"Still, I'm sorry.." He stroked your fur lighty. "It's ok, [Y/N], I understand." You turned in his arms and hugged onto him, still tense.

"I know." You and Grillby were cleaning up the mess from breakfast now while the boys were taking their bath. "You never actually answered me. Would you like to move in?" Grillby asked. "I.. don't know yet. I need to think about it." Your ear flicked as you heard laughter in the bathroom. They were having fun. "Take your time, [Y/N], I apologize if I seem to be rushing you at all, I'm simply curious." Grillby stated hastily. "No, no.. your not rushing. I understand." You were quick to comfort the fire monster. "Would you like to watch a movie tonight, after the boys go to bed?" You smiled. "Why not? I could use the affection." You both laughed yourselves. "That's a start."
