Kaze: I am always ready for anything, Lady Tsubasa.
Tsubasa: Oh yeah? Get ready for a tsundere reader.
Kaze: Yes, milady.

You were just walking around the astral plane with nothing in your mind. You had just finished patrolling around your part of the plane and there wasn't any invisible soldiers coming to invade. Being a maid is pretty hard, especially with how much work you have to do. But you were very skilled about it, both on and off the battlefield. Sure being in Corrin's army as his retainer can be a pain, but you just do what you have to do. When you and Felicia found him on the plains of Hoshido, you were pretty pissed about why he disappeared without letting you know.

Once you decided to follow Corrin to Hoshido (and branded a traitor by Nohr), you were pretty skeptical about your new surroundings, but you gotten used to it as time went on. However, you did develop a small crush on one of the Hoshidan ninja. His name was Kaze. Of course you can't just let it surface from within you, right? You just kept your bad attitude towards others to hide that fact.

On your way back to your tent, you accidentally bumped into someone, which caused you to fall and land on your bum.

"Ow! What in-?!"
"I'm sorry, (y/n). Are you hurt?"

You looked to see a hand reached you for you to grab. You looked up and noticed the ninja none other than Kaze.

"I'm fine. Sheesh..."

You grabbed the ninja's hand and stood up from the ground.

"Watch where you are going, idiot."
"Sorry, (y/n)."
"Yeah whatever."
"You don't really care, do you?"
"Yes I do! Just shut up, you idiot!"

Kaze noticed an invisible strategist with a Ragnarok tome and prepared a steel shuriken.

"(Y/n), look out!"

The jade-haired ninja pulled you behind him and shielded you from the incoming magic attack. Kaze quickly threw the shuriken at the invisible, possessed strategist. It was hit by the attack and signaled the other invisible soldiers to begin their invasion.

"Go alert the others (y/n). I'll fend them off!"
"As if!" You pulled out steel dagger from you heel. "I'm not letting you die here, idiot!"
"(Y/n)..." Kaze said while looking into your (e/c) eyes.
"So are we going to strike or not?!"
"Uh, right!"

You and Kaze began to fight the invisible soldiers. Of course it woke up your Hoshidan allies and they immediately join the fray when they saw the enemies.

"Damn it! There's too many of them!" You yelled.
"Don't worry, (y/n)! We'll get out of here alive!"

You were beginning to grow exhausted as you kept killing more invisible soldiers. However, you immediately noticed the same invisible strategist that tried to attack you earlier far away from you. It launched a powerful Ragnarok at you and you began to cover your eyes for the impact. Suddenly, Kaze shoved you out of way and immediately took the hit. Both of you landed on the ground with the jade-haired ninja badly injured.

"Kaze you idiot! Why?!"
"Don't...mind me...finish it off!"

You ran towards the strategist and sliced it in half in one quick move. Once the strategist disappeared from the plane, the rest of the invisible soldiers were forced to retreat. As your allies cheered for their victory, you walked towards Kaze, who had just passed out.

"You are an idiot...but thanks for saving me."

You pulled out a Mend staff and began to heal his wounds. Once you finished, you dragged him to your tent.

The next morning, Kaze woke up and looked at his surroundings. He noticed a few bandages wrapped around his right arm, forehead, and a band-aid on his cheek. When Kaze noticed you walking in with breakfast in your hands, he realized that he is in your tent.

"Oh. You're up."
"Did you bring me in here?"
"Of course. You were dying anyways. You didn't have to take that magic attack. I can handle myself, thank you very much."

You sat down next to him and gave the jade-haired ninja his breakfast plate without looking at him, which was grilled fish and a rice ball.

"Here. I made it for you, idiot. You better be grateful."

Kaze chuckled at you and smiled as he accepted his breakfast plate.

"I didn't know that you care a lot, (y/n)."

You crossed your arms, still not making eye contact.

"Of course I do, idiot. Did you think that if I was gonna leave you dead out there?"
"No. In fact, I do care about you, (y/n)."
"Hmph. And?"
"And I know you care for me."

You paused and looked at Kaze eating his breakfast. A small pink blush appeared on your cheeks as you looked at the adorable ninja. His dark jade eyes shifted into your (e/c) ones. He put his breakfast down on his lap and began to caress you soft cheek. You were confused at first, but he suddenly pressed his lips onto yours. Your (e/c) widen at first but you kissed back anyways.

"I love you, (y/n). Remember that."
"I love you too, Kaze..." But you shifted back to your usual bad attitude, trying not to go too soft. "But don't screw this relationship up, my ninja idiot. Or else!"
"Of course," Kaze chuckled and continued eating his breakfast.

Once the war ended with Hoshido claiming victory for defeating Nohr, you quit being Corrin's retainer and settled down living with Kaze. The both of you got married and had a child named Midori. She didn't inherit your bad attitude, but you had a happy family nonetheless.
