we were walking throw a desert area.

"hm? everyone, hold up!" Kamui said stopping us in our tracks.

"we see something in the distance" I said standing next to my brother.

"it looks like...." I said unfinish.

"a plume of smoke?" Kamui asked, as we saw a huge smoke cloud.

'why would some one smoke up the place?' Dark asked.

"that isn't just any smoke... it's my brother's smoke signal" Kaze said worriedly.

"Saizo's there?" Kamui asked.

"what does the smoke signal mean?" I asked worriedly.

"he is. and it means that he's engaging a large number of enemy troops." Kaze said.

"we need to go help him, then!" me and Kamui said in syc.

"no, lord Kamui and (lord/lady)(y/n), if he has sent that specific smoke signal... well, that isn't him asking for help. that signal is meant to warn allies away, he believe its too dangerous there. we....should head in a different direction." Kaze said, sounded a bit upset.

'boi that's mess up, he's your brother!' Dark said.

"you can be serious..." Kamui said.

"Kaze that's your own brother out there!" I told Kaze.

"no, me and my (brother/sister) made up our mind, everyone ready for battle!" Kamui said.

"we're going to help Saizo if you like it for not!" I said.

"lord Kamui and (lord/lady)(y/n), why? you both will be putting all in danger!" Kaze said.

"the enemy we are facing cant be beaten if we didn't gather allies" Kamui said.

"and we wont sit on our hands when an ally is in need!" I said.

"we have to be willing to help each other no matter how dangerous a situation is." Kamui said.

"if you two insist, lord Kamui and (lord/lady)(y/n), thank you both...." Kaze said.

we all ran and ended up somewhere in the woods.

"this looks like the place where the smoke signal was set up" Kamui said.

"do you think Saizo and his foes are still in the area?" I asked.

'IDK' Dark said.

"I don't know...." Alex said scratching the back of (her/his) head.

"it is difficult to tell, we're entered mokushu territory." Azura said.

"this are is heavily forested, making it easy to get lost, we should stay close." Alex said, then Azura looked down and saw something.

"looks, there are footsteps leading deeper into the forest, lets follow them." Azura said looking up.

we all flowed the footprints and may I say it felt like we walked forever.

"its so dark and g-gloomy here... its kind of scary, really" Sakura said.

"if you need to, you can hold on to my arm" Takumi offered.

"th-thank you" Sakura said walk up to Takumi and holding his arm.

"we're pretty deep in the forest now. the place is practically a maze" Takumi said.

"they're about to, that was only a scout. there are more enemies heading this way" Kaze said.

"everyone, get ready for them!" Kamui said grabbing his yato.

"lets kick their butts!" I said as I also grabbed my yato.

'battle time!' Dark said.

the battle began.

I toke a good look around and saw some ninja, and some archers and I believe I saw a heeler or two.

"it looks like a group of fighters has entered the forest---friend of your, I imagine, they must not be to bright, what kind of fools walks right into an obvious trip? you'd never fall for that- right Kagero? being a retainer to prince Ryoma and all. oh wait, you did." the dark blond haired man said

"you're a disgrace to all ninja. why have you taken me prisoner--mokushu is allied with hoshido!" Kagero said.

"ha, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've decided ally with king Garon. I've been waiting for a long, honestly. once hoshido has been defeated, mokushu will rise up to replace it. i'll finally become a true king." the dark blond haired man said.

"you've lost your mind." Kagero said.

"ouch, no need to be so insulting. right now it more prudent to keep you alive...but that could change at any time! YOU! take her away!" the dark blond man order one of his men.

"yes sir!" the ninja said, as he grabbed Kagero.

"I've always been prepared to die carrying out my mission...I never realized, though how much it would hurt to have failed lord Ryoma. if only I had delivered his message... " Kagero said.

soon I saw Saizo, with Orochi, and with another women with blue hair and riding a, um, dragon...i'm ganna call it that.

"Orochi! have we reached the spot where Kagero was captured?" Saizo asked the purple haired female.

"yeah... this looks like the area scouts described, however we're gone to deep into the woods that I cant be sure..." Orochi said unsure.

"we cant just stand here doing nothing. lets search the area" Saizo said.

"this forest is amazing...I can almost taste the bitter animosity in it. please let me handle anyone who stumble upon us. the acoustics here will make their last words all more beautiful to hear..." the blue haired female said.

"don't lose focus, Reina. we cant afford to die here, don't worry Kagero, we're coming." Saizo said, Reina, the blue haired women smiled a bit.

now back to us.

"over there!" Kamui said.

"is that Saizo?" I asked.

"yes, he seem to be engaging the same enemies we are" Azura said.

"'the enemy of my enemy is my friend...' is that how the saying goes, isn't it?" Alex asked.

"talk to Saizo, he may be more willing to join us now then he was before" Azura said.

me and Kamui teamed up and slowly but surely made our way to Sazio and his friends.

but soon we made a few step to Sazio way the ground revealed to have spikes.

Sabaki took us over the spikes.

as soon as we're dropped of ninja attacked us.

I transformed into a dragon and Kamui used his yato.

kamui strike first with his yato taking 10% of the ninja's HP.

the enemy soon got up and got ready at attack Kamui.

I block the attack and a got ready to attack.

"ThIs EnD nOw" me and Dark said in syc and hit the ninja making him fall on the floor.

I saw Kaze and Mozu attack a archer, defeated him.

'ninjas are awesome!' I thought.

'I wouldn't say awesome but okay' Dark said.

soon Gunter was attacked by a near by enemy but he took him down quickly.

Takumi used his bow to shoot a enemy ninja that toke a lot of his HP.

Oboro moved next to Takumi for support.

'ship it!' I thought.

'fan(boy/girl)ing' Dark sighed.

Rinkah and Hana attacked a enemy that was up north.

Hinata and Azura quickly followed.

a enemy came running to me, Kamui, and Sabaki and was ready to attack.

Sabaki attacked first but did little damage.

soon Saizo came to the enemy and he was ready to attack.

"die" Saizo said as he throw a shuriken at the enemy making him unable to battle.

then Renia flew over and attack a enemy that was behind the trees.

Renia used her steel naginata to attack and finished the enemy.

Oboro went up to a ninja enemy and was ready to attack.

Oboro attacked but miss, then the enemy attack but Oboro blocked it with her naginata.

now back to me and Kamui, we went to go talk to Saizo.

"Sazio, are you alright?" Kamui asked.

"you okay dude?" I also asked.

"Kamui? (y/n)? what are you two doing here?!" Saizo asked shocked.

"we came to help you. the~" I said smiling.

"that was your smoke signal we saw, right?" Kamui asked.

"it was, but...that wasn't a distress signal!" Sazio said, like we were dumb or something.

"yes, we know gezz" I said huffing.

"Kaze told us it was meant as a warning, but there is no was me and my (brother/sister) just abandon you to the enemy. to us, your a valuable ally. " Kamui said.

"what my bro said" I said.

"you two knowingly risk yourselves just to help us?" Saizo asked crossing his arms.

'well that's why we came here the~' Dark said.

"hrmph, very well-- you both beaten me. no traitor would behave as you two have. lady Sakura must have been right about your motivation you two. lets fight together." Saizo said.

"there is no time to waste. one of our allies, a ninja named Kagero is being held captive. she was supposed to locate lord Ryoma and return to us. we have to save her " Sazio said.

'isn't Kagero that girl we met at the canyon?' I thought.

'ya she is' Dark said.

"we'll do everything we can to help!" Kamui said.

"you can count on us!" I said.

"thank you both. i'll let my allies know that we will be fighting together ." Saizo said, as he ninja his way to where his allies were.

Reina and Orochi teamed up and went to the right and taking out three ninja and archers.

one ninja went over and attacked Gunter and Mozu.

the ninja throw a shuriken but Gunter blocked it and throw his weapon at the enemy taking a lot of his HP.

then Mozu finished the enemy of with her weapon.

then a ninja enemy came up to Reina and Orochi getting ready to attack.

Orochi used her magic to weaken the enemy and Reina used her weapon to finish the enemy off.

Me, Kamui, and Saizo got closer to where the caption was.

I grab Saizo and Kamui's hand and use teleport and ended up right next the dark blond man that I think is the caption.

"Kotaro of mokushu... you will answer to me." Saizo said.

"I answer to no one. who are you to suggest otherwise?" Kotaro the dark blond man asked.

"I an Saizo the fifth. servant to the hoshidan royal family." Saizo said.

"Saizo... that's familiar. I believe I've murder other of your pitiful lineage." Kotaro said, that made Saizo angry.

"YOU--! how dare you! my father was an honorable man." Saizo said, angerly.

"honorable? maybe, weak? definitely. that balding old fool had the audacity to lecture ME! so naturally... I put an end to his life." Kotaro said.

"I knew you were the one responsible for his death. coward!" Saizo said as he got out his shuriken.

"bwahaha! isn't this a smoke of luck? to fell both father and son with the same blade... how poetic!" Kotaro said.

"i'm about to rewrite your poem..." Saizo said.

"please. if you're going anything like your father. you wont land a single blow." Kotaro said.

Saizo throw two shurikens at him taking away most of his HP.

me and Kamui both transformed into out dragon form and hit Kotaro with a lot of power taking away a lot of his HP making him fall to the ground.

'you where saying?' Dark asked.

"how's that? did I land a single blow?" Saizo asked.

"ugh..." Kotaro said in pain.

"fitting. father you are avenged." Saizo said.

we have won the battle.

~time skip~

we all got together after getting rid of the enemy ninja.

"all right, we're taken care of the enemy." Kamui said.

"where is Kagero?" I asked looking around.

"I've found her, Kamui and (n/n)! over here!" Sakura said, calling us over.

me and Kamui ran into this cave and saw Kagero and Sakura walking over to us.

"lord Kamui?! (lord/lady)(y/n)?! what are you two doing here? last I had heard, you two betrayed lord Ryoma and fled the battlefield." Kagero said.

'what a thanks for saving you' Dark said.

"no. that was a misunderstanding. they didn't betray anyone. if you need proof.. well, i'm traveling with them! so is Takumi!" Sakura said.

"I see. lord Kamui (lord/lady)(y/n) I asked for your forgiveness" Kagero said bowing her head.

"no, don't worry about it, Kagero" Kamui said shaking his head.

"we're just glad your safe" I said smiling.

"Kagero, are you injured?" Saizo said running to were we where standing, and I must say I jump a little.

"Saizo, you're here as well? why is everyone in mokushu?" Kagero asked.

"isn't it obvious? we came to save you." Saizo said.

"then I am indebted to all of you. the nature of my job requires that I be prepared to give my life every day... thank you for making sure today wasn't that day. now I can pass along the message that lord Ryoma gave me." Kagero said.

"so you do know where our lord is?" Saizo asked.

"yes. when I left him, lord Ryoma was on his way to cheve, near the nohrian border." Kagero said.

"cheve?!" Saizo asked shock.

"correct, the area is currently fighting against nohrian forces. apparently, the people could no longer take nohrian oppression and have revolted. it is lord Ryoma's objective to befriend the rebels and use them to cross into nohr." Kagero said.

"hrmph. our lord has not lost his reckless habits, I see. we must locate him before anything happens." Saizo said.

"Kamui, (y/n), lets head to the port. we'll need a bout in order to reach chere." Takumi said.

"all right. we better hurry." Kamui said nodding.

"we're going to need Ryoma's help." I said.

"we don't know why, but we think he may know about the dragon archduke Izana spoke of." Kamui said.
