"J'ai de la thé?"

"No!" Tahlia pointed her ruler at me. "Tea is not masculine! It is J'ai du thé!"

I groaned and slumped on the table. "Fleurien is so weird! Why are words masculine and feminine?! They're words!"

She slapped my back with the ruler. "Sit up straight! You'll become hunchback if you slouch!"

"Ow! Ok! Ok!" Get me out of here... I like learning Fleurien, but Tahlia is such a strict teacher!

To my luck, someone knocked at the door. "Prince Chrom? Your sister wants to see you," Mina said.

I smiled and hopped off the chair. "Of course!" I turned to Tahlia. "Thank you, Miss. Tahlia. I promise to work more on my Fleurien later."

Tahlia nodded. "Good. I expect you to know basic sentences by next meeting."

I nodded and quickly ran out of the room, following Mina. "So, what did Emm want?" I asked.

Mina grinned and stopped at a door. "Oh, Emmeryn didn't want you," she opened the door, "Lissa did."

"Big Brother!" Lissa tumbled out of the room and hugged me.

I immediately brightened. "Heya, Liss!" I picked her up and kissed her forehead. "You wanted to spend time with your big brother?"

"Play!"

I laughed and hugged her tight. "Ok, we can play." 

Mina smiled. "I'll fix you two a snack while you play."

I turned to her. "Thank you, Mina."

"It is my pleasure."

...

It has been twenty minutes and Mina still wasn't back.

"I wonder where she is..." I muttered.

Lissa poked me in the head with her toy bear. "Boop!"

My heart warmed and I ruffled her blonde pigtails. "You're so silly."

Is she seriously two?! It seems like just yesterday when she was born! 

"Knock knock!" A voice on the other side of the door spoke. Wait, that's not Mina's voice! Emm came inside, carrying a tray full of food. 

"Emm!" Lissa ran over to her and hugged her legs.

Emm laughed. "Ah! Slow down! I'm carrying food!" She set the tray down and hugged Lissa. "How are you, my little princess?"

"Hungry!"

"Of course," she giggled, looking up at me. "You haven't been giving your big brother trouble, have you?"

I walked over to them. "She's been fine. Like always."

Despite being only 12, Emm was doing a really good job being Exalt! She's nice, caring, generous, and she always listens to the people! I don't really know much about politics - I'm gonna learn more about them in a couple years - but she's the best Exalt in my eyes!

Emm smiled at me. "Gods...you grew up so fast." She ruffled my hair. "I was your age when you were born. You were so tiny...and you still are!"

"Hey!" I puffed out my chest. "I'll be taller than you someday!"

Emm laughed. "We'll see, buddy."

"Food!" Lissa tugged on Emm's dress.

"Ah, yes," she picked up the tray, "you two must be hungry. Let's eat and then we'll play."

I looked at her with hopeful eyes. "You can play with us?!"

She nodded. "Yes, I've finished my work so I shall spend the rest of the day with you!"

"Yay!" Lissa and I both cheered

Lissa listed off every word she knew while we ate. As usual. I just laughed and nodded. I really hope we can spend more time like this together! Even though we're royalty, our sibling bond will always come first!

I'm so sorry this chapter was late and not as good as it could be. I've been so stressed and busy and any and all free time I've had have been dedicated to me resting. I'm so so so so so sorry. I promise that I will get back into the swing of things. I'm still recovering from last month and this month has been merciless as well. Not only that, but I will be so super busy my Spring Vacation. I want things to calm down asap. I want to be able to write good stories again. Once again, I can't express how sorry I am. School is driving me insane, I have a bunch of after-school things, and my anxiety is no help. I absolutely promise to get better. I will HOPEFULLY have things settled really soon.
