Xander and Emmeryn started running towards Gemma when she was being pulled into the portal! Other students saw what was going on, but not one person bothered to help.  Xander and Emmeryn did manage to get Gemma out but the portal closed. It was very scary for Gemma. The Freddy came running over to Xander, Emmeryn, and Gemma.
"I'm here to save you, Gemma!"
"Save me?" Gemma questioned him. "What are you trying to save me from? I was just rescued"
"From Xander and Emily! They're the confused losers!"
"EXCUSE ME?!?!" Xander and Emmeryn said at the same time.
"Yeah! You heard me!"
"You're a nasty piece of work! Gemma doesn't deserve you!"
"And why do you say that?"
"I don't know why."
"That's what I thought, LOSER!" 

Meanwhile Mackenzie was trapped on a small ledge with an unknown person in Ylisse. Then the unknown person stepped out and the unknown person wasn't so unknown as the unknown person was CHROM!!!
